After the meeting on Mustafar interrupted by both Skywalker and Kenobi, the result of this attack came with both deaths of the Jedi, and Grievous barely victorious. Now meeting again with the CIS leadership, they have an interesting reward for him... beskar. This morale boost with the CIS will cause the Clone Wars and this 'Empire' to attempt to finish this war without the Jedi...

Anakin refuses to leave his mother behind in slavery if she'll never be freed. Qui-Gon never comes back, but Obi-Wan does. When he does, he's... different. Darker. Fallen. Even so, he carries through with his unspoken promise to train Anakin, though the boy will never become a Jedi. Perhaps that means Anakin will be able to fulfill his childhood dream of freeing the slaves.

As the Clone Wars worsen, Anakin and Aniya struggle with the aftermath of losing their Padawans. Elsewhere in the galaxy, Ahsoka and Alema search for a new path outside the Order, one which may end up leading them back to the masters' sides. Meanwhile, Qui-Gon finds himself questioning what it truly means to be a Jedi. NOT A REGULAR ANAKIN TWIN FIC!

This story begins during the Clone Wars episode "An Old Friend". Padmé had been helping an old flame, Rush Clovis, to prove misdoings among the Banking Clan. The first couple of chapters follow this story arc quite closely, as well as events in Season 7 of Clone Wars; but the story will diverge radically soon enough.

Modern AU. Padmé and Anakin, both 20 years old, are on their senior year at Columbia University. She is studying at law school and wants to make Doctor Juris at Harvard, plays tennis for the Lions team. Anakin is a mechanical engineering student and a quarterback with the University Team Lions. He's an excellent student but hopes for a career in the NFL.

What If? Follows final episode of Obi-wan Kenobi. The battle had been long and filled with pain. A gruelling fight between former master and padawan. The dead, and the fallen. Brother against brother. Light versus dark. After various wins and losses on both sides, the Light finally triumphed, and the Dark succumbed to defeat.
