Hello reader, and this is my story that was base upon on my original story called Single Father from the original category and yet everything is now an official rebooted that every story is going to be change except some part of the story is going to be the same. However the original story have not been finish so, this is now a continuation story and it is confirmed by me the author of the story.

I understand that you want to see the continuation version of the story - the original - but I decide to make the rebooted and reset version to make a whole new level on Single Father story. But this time is going to be an epic story about it.

So yeah this is an official reboot story saga on Sonic the Hedgehog: Rebooted story: Single Father.

Prologue:

The Past:

"Agent Chunk, where are you?" a voice who speak out from an olive-green colour walkie-talkie who happen to be a woman voice that she speak out to him. Like something is about to happen to him during the ongoing investigation mission to track down several criminal-after-criminal who been wanted for several years after years. And yet why she call out to hm? Unless there is a problem when she continually speak out. "Chunk, where are you? Respond over!"

When someone who finally pick it up said, "I'm here," a voice respond who speak out in clear elder voice who happen to be Chunk. "What is it?"

"You took your time to make your respond," she said to him. That her voice is sounded very impatient. "What happen? Did you acquire the information facts that we needed it?"

"Its take a lots of time to upload the information data onto the USB sticks since we manage to infiltrate his headquarters to upload from his database so that we find out to know what he's planning," Chunk respond and replied to her.

"Well, hurry it up," she respond and reply to him that she is indeed very impatient. "We don't have enough before any more of those serious Swat-bot of his, will show up and cause serious damage on the mission. We need to act fast, right now!"

"Please be patience Selena," Chunk said and revealed her name. "The data take a huge amount to download. It will take about an hour or more to download every information it have. And yet I already access from the mainframe computer so that I will let you know anything from what I discover something."

"Very well," she allow and acknowledge. "Find any suitable information from what you know about it and his plan as well. And hurry, we don't have enough time before his minion will show up! If there is one."

"Understood," Chunk affirmative on her when he disconnected his walkie-talkie. "That woman need to be patience rather than make a force entrance from her own excuse. Oh," he make a small moan impression, "I don't know why the Commander allow her to be a exploration teams since we found this place since our mole have somehow made an activation chip. Knowing this place is indeed belong to the world most wanted criminal of all time."

What Chunk mean is that every since they were inform about this place since their agent of spy have somehow found this place and when everything went on full-scale alert when the remote government organization who led the operation strike force known as G.U.N.s classified known as Guardian Units of Nation. One of the advance military and law enforcement to see out any criminals to see any world domination such as any vest criminal empire that was spread the entire planet of Mobius, home from two co-existence take place are human and Mobian. They're job is too find the most dangerous and the most advance criminal of them all: Ivo Julian Robotnik who's been wanted for many, many, many, many years from his crime that he committed and he is always on the prowl to think he won't be get capture alive and well. But he manage to getaway in two step ahead from them.

They try to find him, but he keep disappearance over and over again in forever non-stop from each different sector after sector. Until they stumble – well their agent – upon this facility that was, once, an abandon asylum in the past, when its close down and now it become Robotnik's headquarter. But not anymore when a small advance teams of G.U.N.s agent have been deployed to act fact before he made his own escape and he did, yet again. That is why Agent Chunk is trying on the main access terminal to see any update information that mainly be useful to stop Doctor Robotnik.

Agent Chunk who happen to be a male, Mobian-Hedgehog with blue fur with five or six quills at the back of his head with green eyes colour along with his peach muzzle and his underbelly along with his sandy beige-white colour gloves and wearing his attire in his dark brown suit with white shirt with teal tie and wearing his hard-cap boots in brown leathery colour with light brown straps around it with dark grey underneath his boots and he got an azure light blue eyebrows and moustache as well and wearing a small circular-sizes glasses when he look at the main mother computers that contain very important information research. Hoping he will find the solution to stop Robotnik for good. He alright place an USB stick into the main slot section and yet he see that the percentage is 50% and its still not enough. He's not sure how long before everything take place since Selena mention Robotnik's Swat-bot.

But not for now when he already hack into the main computer, thankfully he got enough time to make sure that every information that's need. But he got a some serious issue with Agent Selena in general record and her impulsive attitude she got. Of course he was aware about them. Those advance killing machine with very lethal weapon they got so that they can shot down anything within their range and experience combative about how to throw down a punch or two in brute force. Thankfully that G.U.N.s did obtain the schematic blue very long ago to learn more about them and find a way to dismantle or better yet incinerate them for good by finding their weak spot.

Let's hope they do arrive or not. Otherwise it will be game over for good.

Once Chunk already checking every files from what he look at it and seeing that the percentage is still rising, when he look back toward the main computer once again.

"Right then," he said himself. "Let's see what you got here, my little friend. And what else does Robotnik install for you," when he quickly type and checking any useful information. This will be the end of Robotnik's terror for good.

Outside of the main abandon asylum building which it is now Robotnik's newest, well, was his headquarter for him. The facility was once lavishing white colour that surrounded the main building idle, until over many years later that the colour was before is now completely pale with several broken glasses that was shatter with discolouring vines that somehow was never trim down for years. Until now, everything has been replace with very unique colour that somehow made a well-earn blend camouflage without anyone notice from the public naked eyes since Robotnik re-custom the building into his own.

But not yet any more since G.U.N.s have found it, but Robotnik have already made a fleeing excuse. Since every G.U.N.s agents have been deploy in the middle of the night, along with special task force with lethal weapon so that they have no choice to use to shoot down anyone who refuse for surrender. All of them are wearing a military-uniform in dark blue indigo colour with bulletproof protection with heavy-steel cap boot with helmet protection with vizor on them. Most of them were human version and most of them were Mobian to make sure that the main area is total secure and making sure any enemy who foolish enough to step forward and try to reclaim the land back.

Thankfully, none of them didn't show up.

However if there is any trap that was layout, luckily for them that they know how to deal with trap such as bombs for example so that they will take care of it in matter of minutes. But most bomb cam be complex to known which connection or any power source to know where it is. But any trap was have somehow trigger, than, their name shall be remembrance hold in G.U.N.s HQ standing along with their fallen comrade.

Several G.U.N.s agents are checking the local perimeter to see anything from what they'd spotted. Led by Special Agent Selena who run the operation mission. Selena who happen human female with light pink pigmentation colour with chestnut brown hair colour in extend ponytail position with plum eyes colour and wearing a special uniform that is completely different to compare on the others that she is wearing a complete black jumpsuit design with silver long sleeve with license weapons she's carrying with her to make sure that, if, Robotnik's Swat-bots will step forward. And yet many agents knows her reputation including Agent Chunk as well that she's can be quite impatient in general speaking. Thankfully that only the Commander can shut her up for her excuse and refine statement. But she just wanted to complete the mission for good use. But according to the commander that mission take a lots of effort to solve the case. But make a quicker ending. And yet, he knows that she can be strictive in different ways.

She look and watching that main building to see any latest update while her teams is checking on the main perimeter when one of her agent step forward.

"Ma'am," an agent said out to her. "The Commander want an info on any latest update and yet he's sound very confidential if you ask me."

"Of course he is," she replied in different accent that she know him for long time. When she make a serious sigh. "Tell him," her voice is now tender and take a small deep breath that her voice must remain calm and logic, "that Agent Chunk have found the main computer that was left behind by Robotnik when he commence downloading the data."

"Yes Ma'am," Agent acknowledge him and thus making a respond frequency toward HQ for latest update.

"Ma'am," another Agent speak out to her. "We check the main perimeter from the main building from both in and out at the same time and yet, so far, we didn't see any Robotnik's leftover nor his advance Swat-bot as well, including his couple of Badnik too. It's like he's know were coming."

Selena make a serious sigh once again when she's having a small thought or two about this serious mission to known where that meddling and cursing Professor is, since he is trying to re-havoc the world and additionally that he sell untraceable weapons from different part of remote section without making a single trace back toward him or any world organization criminal. That man is nothing more professional genius. However according to G.U.N.s profile that Robotnik have somehow obtain highest IQ genius like any other word genius. That is why is he is a mastermind criminal in all existence. And its impossible to locate him.

"Of course he knew we're coming," Selena finally replied. "Ever since one of our agent have found this place since it was an abandoned years ago. And yet his intel chip have somehow trigger up, but, by the time we get there that we found his body that he was killed by a serious skilled and professional who did to him."

"I don't think that Robotnik won't killed anyone," Agent comment to her.

"Of course, he didn't," she replied out once more in shouting voice. "We know that he can't kill anyone who stand within his way. He's just minding his own business for all we known about him."

"Ma'am," another Agent stepping in. "We thorough check on our agent was killed. Apparently that he was shot in close distance range when the bullet pierce through his head. This is message was indeed by the most professional skilled killer and we know who it is."

"So it is true that he did hired him for small temporarily," said Selena that she remember not very long ago, when there is a report about one person who got professionally skilled where many police along with special tactics try to hunt him down. Sadly, many of them didn't make it. That is why G.U.N.s try to hunt him down before he will kill again. And he did. And yet they learn that Robotnik have hired him. "This is not good that since he truly is teaming up with him. We cannot allow him to escape like he did before multiple time. Inform the Commander that he is teaming with Robotnik," she quickly order her agent.

"Yes ma'am," Agent quickly acknowledge her and quickly to inform the Commander about it.

"Wise decision," another Agent said to her.

"It is the only way to inform the commander about this," Selena implied. "However if he is indeed working for him for many years since he keep killing over and over again, by simply pay for money from what he was told."

"Guess that is why he goes by the name the highly skilled assassin from what the people calling out to him," Agent said to her. "Not to mention there are other criminal from what we known about them for a while and yet they too manage to escape from our grasp."

What the agent mean is that there are others criminal that somehow escape the system for very long time and yet they have learn that few of them are already working for Doctor Robotnik such former Agent Stone along with two bounty hunter who joining with Robotnik are Sleet and his colleague Dingo and a member of the family name Colin Jr who goes by the name Snivelly. According to his reference that his father, Colin Snr, was a member of the National Army Force from what they known about him. But no one knows that happen to him nor his fate as well. The investigation about him is stone cold and yet there is no possible suspect nor any witness to know what happen to him. According to many theories that his own son kill him that the relationship between the two of them are very complex matter.

And also many of them more are still in large. And yet none of them have never been found. This is bad for all member of G.U.N.s including nation police service as well. To find them and bring them to justice.

That is why they need to be stop. No matter the cost.

"Yeah," she replied. "They too need to be stop no matter the cost since they try to make a flee excuse. And yet this base that was belong toward Robotnik's HQ since our agent found it and now he is now gone since we failed to rescue him. We need to know what Robotnik is planning and why he never start an invasion force. Something is not right, I can feel it."

She was hoping that Robotnik will stay there and thus capture him and put him on trial for his crime he committed for years.

The question remain toward her is that, where on Mobius is the notorious villain Doctor Robotnik? And more importantly toward her own thought that why he abandon several value data that was left behind on the main mother computer why Agent Chunk is checking right now?

The answer is revealing in very shortly.

Meanwhile, back in the main abandonment Robotnik HQ facility, where Chunk is getting on several information to know what Robotnik is planning, while he is checking on the main UB and see that the parentage is taking some effect by slowly increasing. He continuation checking on the main computer to see any useful information from what he know about it. However, he did stumble upon interesting information that maybe useful for G.U.N.s HQ to understand from what Robotnik's discover like weaponry system, hacking to infiltrate from any government building like banks or anything, and the list of his comrades from what he knows about it. Everything is now in there to see what he can learn about it and thus expose Robotnik's villainy empire in complete shutdown.

"Interesting," he said from his own curiosity thought when he look at it. "So many information that I have never seen anything like this before," when he quickly press several keyboard from what he look at it, hoping he will find something. "Well, well, well, this will be noticed," his voice is keep on interesting and curious at it. "Say goodbye toward your criminal empire Doctor Robotnik."

Until he hear something from his walkie-talkie like static, but he know that person is when SHE speak. "Agent Chunk, report."

Chunk grab it and said to her once more, "the data take amount of time before everything is upload, and yet we have found the hugest jackpot. The information that contain several records, including Robotnik's ally so that we can arrest them, this will be the end of his entire career," his voice is now joyful and expression to see this when he quickly press several information from what he look at it, until he notice something on the main screen. "Hold on?"

"What? What is it?" Selena said to him to know what happen.

"I'm not sure," he replied to her. "There is a file."

"A file?" Selena voice sounded is interesting and slight surprise from what Chunk mention to her. "What kind of file?"

"Not sure," he admit that he is have no idea what it is. "But why Robotnik left a single file in the main database? Normally that every villain normally copy and download every files, but why this one? I have to check this one out, hoping I will find something about this one to see what Robotnik is up to something."

"Very well," she allow him. "Make sure that data is still 100% and fully, otherwise we have no idea what that mad doctor is going this time."

"Right," he quickly acknowledge her when he quickly switch off his communication, when he's checking on the main screen, hoping he can find something that is pretty interesting and learn about that one remote file that caught his surprise and his curious reaction. But unknown toward him that there is something on the main pillar standing support that somehow blinking in very slowly.

Outside of the main building, while every G.U.N.s agents are still checking on the main perimeter standing and making sure that no one can't get in was under by the direct order by Selena herself. However they keep on checking from the main outside of the building to make sure nothing goes wrong. Sure, the area is too clear from their own taste since they found it by their own agent.

However as luck is about to happen. That they didn't know from the further distance that's away from them. Where someone who spotted them in a sudden tree distance to blend in without notice with a pair of resemblance-binoculars-like version. And see what this mystery intruder who look upon it to see what the Agents are doing from their local perimeter.

An intruder saw quite a lots from its didn't expected to see so many G.U.N.s agents, wearing same uniform. Most of them are human and some were Mobian. And yet there is a body, lying flat, so that they got the message for messing and see the examiner is checking on the body to see any more detail from he can find. However they will soon notice when the time is right once the examiner is checking on the body.

Once the shadowy figure got a clear distance and see everything and then made a call to someone to make a responsive. "Every agents is now outside toward your headquarters," a dark voice speak out. "It seem that they got the message since you already notice from your confirm suspicion about this mole you speak about it. So that I already taken care of it and left something to remember. Shall I ignite the base? . . . Understood. Yes, Agent Chunk have somehow entering and found your remain which it is part of your plan. Luckily we manage to create another copy – the original one – which Chunk look at the main copy and once he look at it or see something from his further distance. Hoping he will discover something before its too late to save himself from the destruction," when the person hear from another side of the speaker so that this mystery figure continually said. "Very well. The countdown is starting. Now."

Once the figure stop talking and continually observe them to make sure they will get the message. By the time they notice all what happen in a mere sudden future. Everything is about to be – kaboom.

Meanwhile, back in the main Doctor Robotnik's former headquarter since it is now abandon since G.U.N.s show up. Where Agent Chunk is now shock, grasp and surprisingly from what he look at it. Something that he can't get out from his own mind. His mouth is alright open in ajar formation and seeing a witness like horror from recurring nightmare. He never seen anything like this before, knowing this is bad, very, very bad from what he look at it that his pupils are already shrink and slowly look toward the main UB stick and see the reading of it said 85% percentage, which its good that the UB stick is doing its told once more. But seeing something when he look at the main screen and look at the main file that somehow mysterious left behind for odd and unknown reason and yet it does give him a goosebump when he see this.

This information from what he look at it. It's like nothing he never seen since today. Nothing in his entire life, when he look at it and finally said, slowly, regain his courage when he speak, "My chaos," he said out in whispering-quiet voice. When he quickly grab the walkie-talkie when he finally said in out-loud voice. "Agent Selena!"

Until he wait for her in less then a second when she speak out. "Yes, Chunk? What is it? Did you find something in the main data file?"

"Indeed I do," he replied and confirm to her. But unknown to him and her that the flashing red-light is have something make a blink, slowly, that he didn't know that the bomb have been place. "I discover something that I have never seen before in my life!"

"What do you mean?" Selena question for good reason.

"Everything," he quickly said to her. Knowing something from what he saw. Knowing this is bad. Very, very, very bad and it getting a whole lots worst when he look at it. But timer bomb is still doing what its what told. Can he get out there alive?

The answer is coming very shortly.

Outside of the main building site, where Agent Selena and fewer agents are standing and making sure – but Selena is asking him the most important question that she want to ask him for good reason. "What do you mean everything? Did you find something that may involve toward him?"

Until-

"Special Agent Selena," an Agent who quickly rush back and respond her that this agent is seemingly hurry or worst in fight position.

"Hold on a sec," Selena said to Chunk in hold position. "What is it?" she speak with her stern look.

"Our examiner have discover something that you may need to see this," Agent answer out that the voice is very terrified that Selena notice the odd reaction toward that agent.

"What did the examiner find something on the body?" Selena said in demand question. "Can't you see that Chunk have discover something that is very important right here?"

"I know that ma'am," Agent understood and acknowledge the way she's spoken to him on her walkie-talkie. "But the examiner want you to see this, now. He's very urgent from what he discover something."

Selena look at an agent with her stern and glare reaction. But whatever the examiner have found something that is very important. But why this agent's voice is sounded very terrified mix from sudden confidence for not sure why? But if it is definitely very important from what that agent describe just now. Knowing this is very important mission, hoping to pinpoint the location of Doctor Robotnik and his goons for good. But first, there is something that's need to attend with.

"Hold on a sec," Selena said to Chunk on her walkie-talkie.

"No wait-" Chunk said to her once more, knowing this is very important. Until she disconnected him.

"Show me," Selena said toward that Agent. When the same Agent make a nod and escort her toward the body. The body of their fallen agent was shot dead by a skilled professional hunter.

Back in the main Robotnik's Headquarter, that Agent Chunk is trying to respond her since one of their agent have somehow interrupt her for unknown reason and yet she replied that she got something else first before she will speak to him.

"No wait," Chunk try to speak to her, until it to late that she disconnect him when he make a serious grunting effort. "Blast that woman," he accuse her. "I knew she can be overturn since she made fully 'special agent' since she got several top-ranking excuse. She just want to complete the mission as simple as that she want do get the job done. But this information," he gaze back toward it that his face have been lifted in horror mix with his own sudden pale when he look at it, knowing this detail is heavily important. "No one can't look at it. The Commander need to inform this once the download is finish," when he look at the main USB stick and see the percentage is now 91% and now become 92% percentage and slowly rising. "Then the information will be delete, like, forever," he add on and still gaze toward the main screen. "But there is something is not right," a thought take place on Chunk. "Why would Robotnik and his minions left this behind including this file that found? Something is not right. I know that he and his teams delete every recorded and make so many copies for further update to continuation for world demolition from what we known about it. But still, why this one? Why this one remain to be un-deleted to allow me to download about it? Something is not right, I know there maybe a trap somewhere that I can't see. Huh?" he halt for a moment when he notice something on the main screen that he could have sworn something that coming from it, like, blinking red light that somehow caught his attention that somehow slowly blinking in forever non-stop. He try to make it out, hoping he will get a clear distance reach to know what is that blinking-red light and funny enough, it wasn't there before since he look upon it since every member of G.U.N.s agents were deploy to ransack the place, hoping to find any led of evidence to turn that monster to justice. But that blinking red light is about to change. Once Chunk gaze toward in semi-eye shut to make out to know what it is, until suddenly his eyes are now fully wider that somehow shaken in fear when he gasp out from his own mouth. When he frantically search around to see where its coming from, until he release its coming from behind when he quickly turn and shock toward his spine where he saw it that somehow connect toward the main steel beam. How come he didn't see that coming in front of his own eyes and why every agent didn't thoroughly check this room before he make a stand? Unless, it was very hidden in plain site so that no one can't locate it. This is bad when he said, "Oh no."

Until everything is went black, when the red stop flicking.

I know this is story, but this is a prologue before the main event take place on them and this story took me a long time to know what happen next, true story. But I did start creating this story about roughly on June or July from what I remember, but, I have to reset everything into a proper version, because this story took me a long time to know what happen next for the main event.

Also, can I reminded you all that keep your theory toward yourself when you think on the next chapter event, because I don't want any spoiler who know everything from what you known about. Please keep it toward yourself. however, if you make a one false mistake that you know by accidently typing on the review box, then I WON'T make another chapter session by anyone who make a fool attempt.
