Shido is a 16 year highschool student who lives a totally normal life with his family. In school he doesnt seem to have any friends other than his childhood friend Lilith, she is half american and half japanese. His elder sister, Silvie is sometimes worried about his social life.
During weekend, he is at Lilith's house to help her with some homework. They usually get along pretty well. But, today Lilith is mad at Shido because, Shido refused to go to the amusement park with her.
"We just went to the ammusement park yesterday" he said. Lilith pouts but agrees to not go today. Shido tells he would go to the caffe nearby with her instead. Lilith excitedly with a smile says "Thank you Shido!!". Shido then tell her to get done with her homework as soon as possible. Lilith then runs to finish her homework.
One day, arriving to school, to his surprise he realized that today is a off day. He forgot today is a national holiday. He says with a disappointed face" I could have rested for once, sigh! guess I'll just go home."
While returning to home, he stops in a caffe. The caffe seems unusually isolated and quiet today. "There weren't any people in the streets also" he worried. There is no one in the caffe not even any staff. He went outside, still seeing no one outside he is genuinly worried right now. He runs towards home. He saw no one on the way. Upon arriving home, before entering he felt a strong strange presence. "Was it the wind. No it cant be! Its a sunny day then what was it?" He wondered. He looked around to see nothing. But, right then he saw Lilith running into the alleyway. He feeling relief says "finally, I found someone and its Lilith. What is today is everyone out somewhere. But he wondered " Why was it only Lilith". Worried he ran towards the alleyway but, he didnt saw anyone here. He shouted "Lilith! Where are you. This is no time to joke! " Lilith!"
He ran to the end of the alleyway to see the unthinkable. Lilith's body is cut in half. Behind her there are several bizzare looking men grinning and saying" This is what you get for doing this to our leader. We the otherworlders will never forget what you did to us Shido!"
Suddenly the world around him breaks and he fall what seems to be an endless fall. These are hapening in suce pace he has no time to think or comprehend what was going on but, he remembers every word the bizzare looking men said. Suddenly, he is at home in his bed. He shouts"Liliiiiith!". His elder sister, Silvie comes to his room to check what was going on. She says"Who's Lilith" He worryingly says "You dont know Lilith. Lilith!! my childhood friend. His sister laughs and says" You, having friends ha! impossible!" He shouts " What are you talking about!" He gets ready but, instead of going to school he goes to Liliths home. He was too stunned to speak after what he saw. There was no apartment there. There is a ramen shop beside a convenience store instead of an apartment. He runs to find Lilith but, then he realizes that there is no Lilith in this world. He still runs to find her, after hours of searching he is left with disappointment. He sits in a bus stop waiting for his bus to come. It is quite crowded but suddenly everyone starts running outside. He is sitting so he can't see whats happening. After the people in front running he sees a speeding trucc coming straight towards him. Being speechless he tries to move but a sudden fatigue hits his body. Its like somebody cast a spell in his body. Unable to move he falls to the ground and accepts his fate.
"I guess I wasnt lucky, this is my fate, Lilith is no more then there's no reason for me to stay alive either" He is reliefed now but still a regret, an agony, a revenge lies in his chest for those guys. Soon the trucc hits him and he dies...
