Once Stefan headed to his room, he called Elena and waited for her to pick up. There has to be a way to get Bonnie and Damon to work things out; he just needed a plan. Elena picked up the phone, "Hey Stef, what's up?" She asked with curiosity in her voice.
"We've got to get Bonnie and Damon back together, stat!" Stefan replied with an urgency in his voice.
Elena sighed, she could tell that her boyfriend's inner fanboy was coming out. She wanted to say something, but since she's just as crazy as him when it came to Bamon, Elena decided to keep quiet.
After a few minutes of silence, Stefan spoke. "So how's Bonnie doing?" Even though Damon is his brother, he cared about Bonnie too. She was his friend and he owed her his life for all the good she's done.
Elena began to stutter, "Uhhhhhhh". She didn't know how to respond. Honestly, Bonnie was just as wrecked as Damon. She was mostly stuffed in her room, watching rom coms and eating ice cream.
Sometimes, she'd look at some of the stuff he gave her, like his black button up shirt, and the ring he gave her the day he first told her that he loved her.
Stefan then heard a noise coming from the other line. It sounded like someone blowing their nose. Was it Bonnie? He heard Elena speaking, which got him to zone back in.
"Stefan, are you still there?" Elena asked. "Yeah, don't worry, I'm listening" He replied. Elena chuckled, "Sure you were. Anyways, I'll call you back Stefan. I love you." Stefan smiled immediately, "I love you too"
