Sighing as the unnecessary crisis of people calling her to steal the groom averted. Seriously, she just left her character AFK for a few moments while she visited the little programmer's room. She just wanted to get a red packet and watch the fanfare; why did people have to unnecessarily try to stir up drama? She could care less if the groom was her ex-partner. They had only wed for the guild wars for heaven's sake. Their marriage was not anything personal. This was really too much drama for her tastes. Determined to get away from the crowd so she could log off away from people at Jian bridge. As she was about to hit the escape key to exit to bring out the exit screen she was called in public chat by someone who was near impossible to catch in game, the leader of both the PK and the Wealth leaderboards, Yixiao Naihe. The Great Master himself. Looking around at the other players on her screen to attempt to find where the avatar was she spotted the musician in white under a wisteria tree by the river.

Navigating her avatar to be face to face with theirs; Weiwei asked the player if he needed something from her? The guqin player in white just stood there quiet for a few moments before asking if she enjoyed the wedding. When she nonchalantly said that it was a grand wedding he asked her if she would like a grander one. As soon as she read the proposal, visions started assaulting her in rapid succession.

Her hesitancy at saying yes so soon to a virtual stranger before him telling her about the couple contest. Meeting her online fiance's brothers in arms and questing with them. The wedding and being heckled by Xiaoyu Yaoyao's followers. Dealing with Cao Guang and his baseless accusations about her having a sugar daddy. Her and her roommates going for an internship interview at Zhen Yi Technologies and Erxi accidentally saying that she was Luwei Weiwei in her interview and her ingame ex-husband being in the interview. The couple contest video and more slander from the Xiaoyus and Zhenshui Wuxiang. The honor duel between her great master and her ex-husband. Coming across the illusive senior Xiao Nai around campus more and more until him sitting next to her in his father's class. Watching the couple's video that they made together. Quitting her guild after baseless accusations. Passing the Condor Heroes quest being awarded flying mounts. The couple's competition and Naihe not showing for the final battle. The week of depression thinking that he had just up and left the game. Finally reuniting online and agreeing to meet. FInding out the person she had been married to online being Xiao Nai. Their first date and multiple others until it was time for her to return to her parents. The weeks of separation before her attempting to surprise him at his office and their first kiss. Her interning at his company and the crazy deadline. Meeting multiple of her former guildmates in person and the fall out. Her fight with Erxi because people thought Erxi was her. Her living at Xiao Nai's home during the fight and finally the make up. Starting school again and being escorted by Xiao Nai's parents to her dorm. The company celebration dinner and vacation where Xiao Nai showed her a view that was so similar to the view they liked to look at in the game. Then Finally coming back to reality and re-reading the proposal on her screen.

This was really too much for her to handle but she couldn't just leave him hanging like that. She just replied like she saw in her vision and he did the same. After she saw Naihe logoff she quickly followed suit. She needed time to think about everything without any interruptions. Feigning a headache the beauty crawled into her bunk and pulled the covers over her head. She laid there in the darkness bathled. The Great Master replied the same exact way as he had done in her vision. It was too soon to verify that Yixiao Naihe was Xiao Nai but after his replies tonight it seemed that it was likely. If his brothers in arms act in the same way as she saw then she would believe it wholeheartedly. She didn't know why she saw the visions that she saw but if she had to guess Yixiao Naihe did not have a sneak peek into the future that she just experienced. She closed her eyes and fell into a fitful sleep.

The next morning Weiwei chanced a hack onto Cao Guang's computer with some of the tricks that the vision Xiao Nai showed her just to see if he had the photos of her getting out of the mother of her student's car or not. When she found those along with the photo that was used to enter her into the Campus Beauty Contest she was more inclined to believe. She took no time to remove the photos and delete the planned article from his computer. Okay, she was starting to believe in what she saw within that vision more and more now. The evidence is there but her mind just could not quite comprehend it.

She would wait like she planned last night until she logged into the game tonight before totally believing in it. However, she pondered if the visions are real like the evidence suggests then what should she do about it? She couldn't just up and engineer chance meetings like Xiao Nai confessed doing. She was nowhere near brave or clever enough to do what he did. For now she would just need to follow the script and pick from one of the many random meetings that he set up to flip the script to better suit her. She would not be cloying like his normal female admirers; she would just be herself without the nervousness that she had the first few weeks of dating. With that in mind she went about her normal class schedule.

After a grueling class schedule, Weiwei finally entered her dorm and pulled out her laptop so she could meet her online fiance in game. As her computer was booting up Erxi told her about Zhen Yi Technologies hiring interning. She told Erxi that she wasn't interested but Erxi may want to check with the others to see if they were. If her visions were true then she didn't want to be anywhere near that company for a plethora of reasons. Once she finally logged in she found herself surrounded by the Great Master's brothers in arms. The moment they started to barrage her with rapidfire questions. The same questions from her visions. That confirmed it she couldn't deny it any longer; her visions did in fact show her the future. There was no use trying to deny it anymore. As fantastical as it may be she saw her future for the next five months. Now it was time to start plotting what she should do about that information. She had about a week until she first started crossing paths with Xiao Nai on campus.

The question is when did Xiao Nai learn who she is? Logic says that it must have been right around the time she started seeing him more and more on campus. It couldn't have been just a coincidence. Now she needed methodically to go through her vision timeline and figure out what happened. A few moments into it she paused and realized that she might have screwed up removing the photos off of Cao Gaung's computer that morning. Not good, now what is she going to do? Then she remembered a long shot with Zhen Yi Technologies trying to sabotage Zhi Yi Technologies with Ah Shuang; could it be that he had somehow crossed paths with her without her knowing there when she along with her roommates went to their internship interview? It was a possibility and she just stupidly told Erxi that she wasn't interested in applying. She seems to be potentially messing up her future left and right. What to do now? She could offer to go with Erxi for moral support just to cover her bases. Erxi would not want to go by herself after all.

If that doesn't work there was a chance encounter the night of the final tournament before he got into the car crash. The car crash! She froze, she needed to prevent it from happening somehow. So many variables, why didn't her vision self not press for more details. The only thing she knew was that he had come across her while she was gaming in at that gaming cafe a few days ago.

Pulling out her trusty gaming journal she started bullet pointing major events. That will be happening in the next few days. Of course the wedding couldn't not be marked down but what else happened that day? She pondered for a bit and of course the basketball game; the one that is highly publicized that Xiao Nai would attend but he didn't attend, nor did any of his roommates if she recalls correctly. He's on the team and even though he didn't play he would know who the team would be playing. She could innocently tell him that she might be late getting to the wedding ceremony because she is going to support her department's basketball team or even use the need to stay to support the team because even though the star player was publicized to be playing he didn't even attend. Or what Weiwei could do is complain that she was getting annoyed that people are disrespecting her archaeology professor because they only registered so they could possibly catch a glance at the professor's son who was very popular on campus instead of actually learning in the course. She really needed to fine tune her ideas. She shouldn't get ahead of herself.

Connecting with her future boyfriend would not be her only priority; she would also need to not have the fall out during summer with Erxi. She already planned to stay far away from Cao Guang but that was only part of the fall out, a large part but only a part all the same. There was still the internship and Erxi only got hired because of Zhenshui Wuxiang thinking that Erxi was her. It didn't help that Erxi said that her player handle was Luwei Weiwei but that is neither here nor there. Cao Guang approached Erxi in the game because he thought her handle was Erxi's; he must have had someone come across her while she was helping Erxi play. Should she suggest to her roommates to start playing the game before they go in for the interviews or direct them to a different game altogether? There were just way too many variables. She really did not like the idea of being the one with this kind of power.

Things were so much simpler when she wasn't aware that what she did could cause her foreseen happy future to vanish. She really needed to be much more like Xiao Nai in this predicament. She could totally see him quickly analyzing the information and molding it to efficiently benefit him the best if he experienced what she just did the night before. She really needed to take charge like he would have in her shoes. Why does she always make things so difficult by over complicating them?

Taking a deep breath she decided to take one problem at a time. First casually drop Xiao Nai and the others hints on her identity without actually telling them anything that would not make sense to anyone but people in their department. Now with the Erxi issues she needed to make sure that Erxi doesn't claim to be her in her interview. If she doesn't get the internship she doesn't get the internship. It would probably be best if she stayed in her hometown during the summer anyways. It would keep her from Cao Guang at least she would not be physically near him. With that in mind; Weiwei let out a sigh of content. She now had an outline of a plan for the two big issues. She started thinking about her guild. Should she just go ahead and quit now or do early damage control. She could care less about the Xiaoyus but there were people that prior to them joining the guild were genuinely good people. Diemeng would not have turned bitter if Xiaoyu Qingqing wasn't seducing Zhan Tianxia and even Zhan Tianxia would have not let the guild break apart. She had mixed feelings because of the visions. She did truly love her guild as it is now but in less then a month from now it would no longer be the case.

Sighing, Weiwei decided to log back into the game and go to her guildhouse. The first thing that she did was send a pm to Zhenshui Wuxiang and write a formal apology explaining that it was not her intent to cause a commotion at the wedding procession; she just wanted to watch the festivities. Unfortunately she had to step away from her computer for a few moments when people started their gossip about her stealing the groom. She also asked for him to share her apology to Xiaoyu Yaoyao since she didn't have her on her friend's list. Next she blasted the guild chat for a public apology and stated the same reasons why the issue blew out of control. She also stated that she did sell some of her personal potions that were on her to disburse the chants for stealing the groom. That was all she was going to say on the subject. If the Xiaoyu's try to badmouth her it would make them look bad with the older members since she apologized within the guild so hopefully more guild members would stand up on her behalf in the future not like she actually needed it but if she could at least have her guild not tear itself apart she would be glad. Logging off for the second time that night, Weiwei decided to give her brain a rest for the rest of the night and went to bed early.

Her next interaction was not until the wedding on the next night at the Stone of Three Lives inside the game. She had apologized for being late offhandedly stating her roommate insisted that she join them in watching a basketball game in support of their department's team. She left it vague to see if any of the other three men would ask for more details because she knew that her soon to be game husband would not. They did not and the wedding story soon commenced.

The wedding procession happened mostly like in her vision but this time when the Xiaoyu's started to diss her, Xiaoyu Yaoyao somewhat came to her defense and gently reprimanded her family and asked to quit using her to compare others. Weiwei saw right through the flowery words of the server beauty. Xiaoyu Yaoyao used a phrase that would automatically make people subconsciously compare Weiwei to herself. Weiwei smiled on her decision to do a public guild post of apology. If Xiaoyu's started to cry bully then Weiwei had already set up the perfect defense "I don't understand why they keep attacking me? I have no conflict with the Xiaoyus but they keep on going after me and accusing me of bullying."

After the attempt to stir up drama, things continued to go as she saw in her vision. After the quiet bridal chamber where she did her homework to the hot air balloon sightseeing tour. It was just as heart moving the second time around. Xiao Nai truly had a romantic soul. She had to wonder how long it took him to design the sightseeing tour. That evening Weiwei went to sleep with a content smile on her face.

In the morning she started her day like normal; got up, washed her face, did her laps around the track, came back to her dorm, showered, and ate breakfast at her favorite cafeteria where she spotted K.O. serving food; how did she not notice him before? She decided to go to the library instead of returning to her dorm like normal. As she started to walk through the rows of the programming section trying to get her mind to focus on other aspects she nearly walked right into the one person who had been distracting most of her thoughts for the last two days as she was rounding a corner. Her eyes widened at seeing him and she quickly apologized to Senior Xiao for not paying attention before giving him a wide berth as she continued down the aisle. She put her acting skills to the test and grabbed a book on Python programming; a subject that she was actually enrolled into this semester and then went to one of the large study desks and pulled out various items from her bag to start studying.

She could feel his eyes on her from time to time as she ignored him. Weiwei knew that his brilliant mind would be able to connect the dots quickly and wait to see what his next move would be. At least she now knows for sure that he is aware that they attend the same university. After a couple hours of studying she went over to the teacher on duty and turned in the book that she was using before exiting the library and making her way to her first class of the day, Mathematical Foundations of CS. She was hyper aware of Xiao Nai following behind her at a distance but made no move to give any indication that she was aware of the tail. He was quite good at making it look like a coincidence. No wonder she never noticed him watching her in her visions. Weiwei just entered the lecture room and sat in her normal spot. Xiao Nai didn't enter the classroom and she did not see him anywhere when class had ended.

Xiao Nai had many things going through his brilliant mind that morning as he was going through the shelves of the library. Finishing up his graduation thesis for one, getting funding for his company for another, but finding more about his new wife seemed to be the one topic that he couldn't quite compartmentalize. The moment he had spotted her in his uncle's cafe doing PK battles he was fascinated by her. Top six in the PK boards, quick witted when people called for her to steal the groom. He couldn't let such a magnificent specimen of skill be bad mouthed the way she was being. He would do something to keep her close. When he heard of the in-game divorce and the up-coming couple's tournament a plan quickly formed.

Luwei Weiwei seemed like his ideal partner in life. He just didn't know her real life identity. But it was just a matter of time to break down her defenses and to get the information. She had already let it slip that she was a college student with the reason for running late last night. It is just a matter of time to figure out which of the nearby universities she went to. His thoughts were cut short when he looked up to see who nearly bumped into him. Only to see the woman who had been plaguing his thoughts apologize to him before continuing her track down the aisle.

His new wife went to his school, his mind chanting repeatedly as he watched her study a row of books before pulling a book from the coding section and sat down at one of the desks. He took a seat just out of her eye line to try to see if he could get any more information on her identity. She was as studious as she was beautiful. He smiled as he watched her jot down some notes in a little book as she read. He sat there for a couple of hours until a few moments after she got up to leave. Not letting a moment to waste he started to follow her until she entered the computer department and into the mathematical foundations classroom.

Glancing at his watch and marking the time he went back to his house a little research was in order. It took very little time cross listing the class's roster with any female who is registered for the class. Only four women and all in the same dorm room. Looking at the names it was pretty easy to determine who it was. He highly doubted she would use her roommate's given name as her avatar's name. Bei Weiwei, the name suited her. A few more keystrokes and her class schedule, her school ID, and her grades. Just to double verify he went onto the campus forum and did a search for her coming across the campus beauty contest before wiping the poll due to inaccurate data. But saved the blurry picture of her before he did. Smiling, he couldn't wait to bump into her again.

Weiwei had a small smile on her face when she returned to her dorm. She didn't tell anyone the reason why she was smiling, just sat down at her laptop to do her daily missions when Erxi shreked at getting an interview. As the others were congratulating Erxi, Weiwei suggested that Erxi might want to get some gaming experience since the company was branching out into gaming. Her excitable friend just looked at Weiwei dumbstruck. Weiwei did have a point, what if they asked about her gaming habits while in the interview?

Erxi rushed over to her beautiful friend and begged for help. Sighing, Weiwei asked Erxi to bring her laptop over and she would walk her through creating an account. Weiwei heavily suggested for Erxi to join her server so she could help her level and make connections quickly. Erxi was hesitant at first but the more Weiwei started to pile logic onto her Erxi agreed that night Joyful Xi was born on the Capital's Best server.

The next morning as Weiwei was finishing up her fourth lap around the track Weiwei spotted Xiao Nai enter the track. Xiao Nai wasted no time researching her, it appeared. She continued to jog and pause to scan her meal card like she did not notice him. This was feeling like a twisted game of hide and seek to her. But she knew all she needed to do is play her part and their relationship will stay on track. She still hadn't figured out how to prevent the accident but she still had a month to figure that out. Erxi's interview will be in a couple of days so Weiwei planned to hold off on her daily quests for the next few days so she could help Erxi level and get a good grasp of the game. At least get her out of the starter village and maybe introduce Erxi to Nini. Weiwei had a feeling that those two would enjoy each other's company. Both of them would enjoy gossiping with one another.

On the day of the interview Erxi begged Weiwei to come with her and with no excuse Weiwei couldn't just say no to a nervous Erxi. So it was off to sit in a busy Zhen Yi Technologies lobby as she waited for Erxi to do her interview. When it was time for Erxi to be called she held onto Weiwei's arm in a deathgrip until Weiwei just sighed and walked her over to the interview room. Weiwei pointed to the chair that she was previously sitting in and promised to wait right in that chair until Erxi was done. While being engrossed by the magazine that she was reading she never did notice Xiao Nai and Yu Banshan spotting her. Weiwei was just ready to leave the building already. She still had to go tutor Xiao Yang tonight and was already mentally exhausted.

The next few days passed pretty quickly until a video was released for the couple's love story contest on the game forum by Zhenshui Wuxiang and Xiaoyu Yaoyao. Weiwei could not believe that Zhenshui Wuxiang still agreed to release something like this after her apology. Weiwei sent her ex-husband a rather heated PM stating that she was disappointed that someone she had considered being a friend could post something so vacuous and that she was glad that she always kept their relationship at a professional level. She couldn't stand shallow people. With that she logged out and changed to go for a run on the track. She was so livid but not surprised that Zhenshui Wuxiang posted a video like that again if Xiaoyu Yaoyao wanted something he would do his best to give it to her. In her anger she did not notice passing her online husband on the sidewalk.

As Xiao Nai turned to follow his irate wife his phone rang. Noticing the phone number was one of his roommates and thinking that it might be business related he slowed his pursuit before it began to answer the call. Weiwei was being dissed on the game forums by her ex-husband. It was inexcusable. No wonder she looked so lived as she passed him. Taking a longing look at his wife's retreating figure before he alerted that he was on his way to the dorm. He walked as quickly as he could so he could see what caused the look on his bride's face and when he watched the video he was out for blood. Sending out a duel request that there would be no way for Zhenshui Wuxiang to refuse without losing face, he took no time to look up the little pissant so he could privately make his hell in ways that the scum could never comprehend. In finding the identity of Zhenshui Wuxiang, Xiao Nai nearly let out a laugh out loud. Zhenshui Wuxiang is the child of the owner of Zhen Yi Technologies made the plan to dismiss them all the better.

He soon left the dorms and made his way to the track so he could hide behind the foliage as he watched his wife angrily race around the track. She wasn't even scanning her card; just running to let out all of her frustration. Zhenshui Wuxiang would pay for upsetting his wife. As the sun began to set he watched as Weiwei finally slowed to a walk before leaving the track and walking in the direction of her dorm. He followed her discreetly until she made it into the building before leaving to his own home with a silent goodnight to the one female who had ever touched his heart.

Xiao Nai bided his time until the time of the duel with complex coding. He needed something other than his wife's stormy expression in his thoughts right now. It would do nothing but anger him until the appointed time. He also contemplated if he should step in and deal with the Xiaoyu's but decided against it. He was sure that Weiwei would want to deal with them in her own special way. But if they continued like they were doing he would take matters into his own hands.

As the time of the pending duel chimed nearer Yixiao Naihe played his instrument. Giving off the appearance of calm and collected while internally Xiao Nai was anything but. He was going to annihilate the worm and he was going to enjoy doing it.

Weiwei smiled as she watched the match. Her Great Master was showing why he was the top PK player on the server and doing it with multiple pieces of armor removed. Serves Zhenshui Wuxiang right for his superficialness. She gave a malevolent grin as she watched another level drop from her former husband's levels. He would have to spend the next few months grinding to get him back to the same stats that he had this morning. It served him right.

After the battle the married couple went to their spot in the game and Weiwei thanked Yixiao Naihe for his thoughtfulness. She further explained that while she had only married Zhenshui Wuxiang for the guild wars not too long ago that before yesterday she did consider him a friend and a good guildmate. It had hurt that someone that she believed was a friend would be that cruel. She told him that she was happy that Yixiao Naihe is her husband now. He truly is a good man. Yixiao Naihe kept quiet but his player was secretly relieved that there was no real attachment to the other man; he did have a slight bit of illogical concern about that.

The two lapsed into a comfortable silence as they watched the sunset over the horizon. Xiao Nai kept on replaying her words that she was happy that he was her husband in his head as he gazed at the avatar all dressed in red imagining that it was actually Weiwei standing next to him. But for now he would watch her from afar as he did research on how to properly court his future bride.

In the meantime they filmed their own Couple's love story for the competition. Weiwei surprised her in-game husband when suggesting something so beautifully tragic for the storyline. When they were not filming the video they were working on the Condor Heroes Quest. The one quest that was dubbed unbeatable due to its twistedness. The couple made short order of it with Weiwei's prior knowledge of it. The only thing she couldn't help with was the last part where she was trapped in a cave.

It came as no surprise that during the quest Weiwei was pulled into an All Guild meeting to be reprimanded because the party that she had been questing with supposedly kill-stealed one of the Xiaoyu tribe. Sighing in annoyance Weiwei cleared herself along with her party members of any wrongdoing but Substitute Guild Master Zhan Tianxia wanted to be on Xiaoyu Qingqing's good side and reprimanded Weiwei on the sale of the potions on Jian bridge all those months ago. At that point Weiwei was over Substitute Guild Master Zhan Tianxia's thinking with what was between his legs then with his head and used her acid tongue to let him, Zhenshui Wuxiang, and the Xiaoyu family have it. She reminded the Substitute Guild Master stressing on the word substitute that she had formally apologized to the guild and the affected parties back when it happened. It was not her fault that gossiping onlookers decided to cause a scene because they were too lazy to notice the AFK over her avatar's head.

She did what she felt was right to not cause a bigger scene during the procession; she had also already collected more than triple the amounts of herbs than what it took to make the potions that she sold even the lower level items. She reminded them that it was she who had been the main contributor to the herb storage to begin with. Then she went off on Substitute Guild Master Zhan Tianxia's hypocrisy when Zhenshui Wuxiang and the Xiaoyu family decided to smear her name because they had some petty grudge against her. That for the life of her she had no idea why they had it nor did she care about the reasoning. What they thought of her didn't matter to her. It was trivial in the grand scheme of life.

She also reminded everyone there on just who had been their main tank during many of the raids, guild wars, and treasure hunting quests for many months. Taking a calming breath Weiwei then told the guild that she would rather not be a part of a guild that was controlled by people who think with what was in their pants instead of what was in their head. Adding that to her friends she would always be around to help them in need but she no longer felt welcomed in this guild. With that she quit her guild with little fanfare.

When her husband asked her about it as they flew through the sky on their winged mounts she just sighed and stated that it wasn't worth the headache to deal with the drama of petty harpies and their lustful prey anymore. She stressed that she had him and their friends and she didn't need anything else in the world. Weiwei smiled a soft smile as she touched her screen. When would Xiao Nai reveal his identity to her, she wondered? She wanted it sooner rather than later.

It was a couple of days before Weiwei was able to cross paths with either Xiao Nai or his avatar online. He was busy with various things and she needed to focus on studying instead of keeping an eye out for him. When she saw him next it was in his father's lecture when he asked if the seat next to her was free. She just smiled as she greeted Senior Xiao before she informed him that the seat was available. Once she had finished she turned her attention back to the textbook she was reading until class started. Xiao Nai didn't say a word or interacted with her at all until the end of class when she sweetly asked Senior Xiao if he would mind moving aside a moment so she could exit the row. After moving out of the row Weiwei bowed her head and thanked Senior Xiao before wishing him a good rest of his day. It was getting hard for her to keep the polite act up. How could she confront him with the knowledge of his identity? He guards his just as much as she does hers.

Pushing it out of her mind Weiwei left to go to the library to study. She had an English proficiency exam coming up and it was one of her more difficult subjects. She wasn't a genius like her beloved no matter what her roommates think. All her excellent grades were from nothing but her hard word and studious nature. After finishing her homework she chanced to look at her messages to see the couple's video from Naihe. Pulling her headphones out and started to watch the video. Even though it was her idea he took it and made a masterpiece from the video clips they shot. The video was just as emotional as her vision, she was tearing up as the bandit girl was slain. She really wished she was smart enough to pull out her tissues in advance. Clearing her throat as she wiped the tears with her sleeve before she wrote a telling Naihe the video was beautifully put together and asked about the sound track; it felt that it was made for the video. He deflected the question and asked if she liked it? Confirming that she did and she asked if he would like to submit the video or should she. Weiwei had to smile when he said he was too lazy to register for the forum. They continued to chat for a while about non-important things until the overhead lights started to dim and Weiwei told him that it was getting late and she needed to return to her dorm. She wished him a good night as he told her to stay safe. Yawning as she packed up, Weiwei quickly and efficiently packed up before wishing the librarian goodnight.

Xiao Nai watched as Weiwei made her way back to her dorm. He needed to make sure that she got home safe. He yearned to be there walking with her instead of being hidden in the shadows. But in the rare bit of illogicalness he was not confident that he could be a good boyfriend to her just yet. He still had more to study in the ways of taking care of a significant other. The senior wasn't even sure if she even liked him in real life. Bei Weiwei was always polite to him but she never acted like others of the female race that he had encountered. Bei Weiwei was an anomaly to him and it fascinated him to no end.

As the Couple's competition started Weiwei struggled with how to prevent the car accident. She really wished she had the details all she knew was the approximate time he left the restaurant from his meeting due to crossing paths with him and that it was Yugong behind the wheel when another was driving the wrong way. Xiao Nai really could not miss that meeting. Meaning she would need to somehow keep both Yu Banshan and Xiao Nai from leaving the restaurant at least a few minutes longer. Which left causing a distraction. Remembering what she wore that evening gave her the perfect plan. A little shoe malfunction and a tiny injury would have him at least pause to make sure she was alright. She could deal with a twisted ankle or a bruised knee for a few days if it would prevent an accident. Now all she needed to do is engineer the mishap.

When her Great Master told her in a PM that he would be arriving late for the final battle. Weiwei was supportive and also gave him her dorm number explaining that her cell phone was stolen and she hadn't had the chance to replace it yet so the dormlibe was the best way to reach her if there were any unexpected issues. Now the backup plan of contact was in place she had to just wait until the others dragged her to going shopping the next afternoon and as expected Xiao Ling and the others insisted that Weiwei needed to go out with them. Packing her laptop in her bag just in case Weiwei followed the trio out to the bus stop; secretly putting unnecessary stress on the heel of the strappy pumps she was wearing with each step she took. She had been prepping the heel of one of the shoes to break all week. It was making sure the mishap happened when planned. Weiwei didn't excel in her engineering classes for nothing.

As Weiwei and her roommates walked up to the restaurant she watched as Xiao Nai and Yu Banshan shook hands with the businessmen they had been meeting. Jamming her heel into the slabs of pavement and as her roommates started to fawn over the handsome senior. Weiwei waited until Xiao Nai turned his attention over to her and her roommates before giving a polite nod in greeting both seniors before telling her friends to hurry up reminding them that she's got an appointment later on. The moment she took the planned step her heel broke and she went plummeting to the ground causing her roommates to shriek her name.

She had hit the cement harder than what she would have liked. Her knee and ankle were throbbing a lot more than what she thought they would. She saw the bloody mess her knee was and cursed herself for not being able to come up with something that was less painful. At the moment she had her eyes closed and was trying to will away the pain and keep from ugly-crying like a child but right now even though it would be totally justified at the moment. Boy, she was an idiot, she thought darkly. As Weiwei was throwing herself a self pity-party she was quickly startled out of it when she felt a large warm hand on her cheek, gentilly wiping her tears away. The beauty looked up to see Xiao Nai kneeling in front of her concern deeply etched in his features.

"Are you alright?" Xiao Nai whispered.

"S-senior Xiao?" Weiwei blushed. Unable to really think of anything else to say. She glanced past his shoulder to see her roommates and Yu Banshan staring at them with their mouths wide open. Returning her eyes back to Xiao Nai "I-i…" she was really at a loss as to what to say. Instead she attempted to stand up and winced when she put weight on her injured leg. Causing Xiao Nai to brace her before she fell again. She looked deeply into his eyes and blushed a deep shade of crimson. He was definitely too close for her mental wellbeing at this time.

"Let's get you taken care of." He lifted her up like she weighed nothing and cradled her close to his chest. Startling the group around them. Xiao Nai directed Yugong with a flick of his head to get the car door opened for him. Once he had carefully sat his precious treasure into the back seat and buckled her seatbelt for her he told Yugong to head to the hospital leaving her friends where they were.

When Weiwei realized that they were about to drive off she protested. She needed her laptop. She had an appointment that she could not miss and couldn't just be taken away without telling her friends what was going on. Xiao Nai told Yu Banshan to stop the car so he could collect her bag. While Xiao Nai was out of the car Weiwei and Yu Banshan looked at each other awkwardly muttering Senior Yu and Underclassmen Bei to each other. It didn't take too long for Xiao Nai to return with Weiwei's computer bag in hand. When Weiwei tried to protest again stating that she didn't need to go to the hospital she only tripped and stressed that she could not be late for her appointment. Someone will be waiting for her. Xiao Nai promptly cut her off by saying that they would make the all server final on time and not to worry.

Weiwei's eyes wided, she knew Xiao Nai loved to drop bombs when people lease expected it. But she didn't think that he would say that now while Yu Banshan was driving. Did Xiao Nai want them to get in an accident after she did not just make a clutz out of herself for them all to get into an accident. "How do you know I am in the server final?" Weiwei skeptically eyed Xiao Nai from the back seat.

"Wait, Mrs Nai?" Yu Banshan all but yelled as he quickly glanced back at the injured beauty sitting in the backseat before turning his head to the road. "I guess ducks of a feather must flock together."

"How do you know that name?" Weiwei snapped her head at the driver. It was time to truly test her acting skills. "An idiom that's incorrect… Yugong Pashan?" she pointed a shaky finger at the man driving before slowly moving it to the passenger "Then that means…" she trailed off and gasped making it look like she just put two and two together.

Xiao Nai just smirked and nodded. Weiwei asked him how he knew who she was with him cheekily replying Acme Internet Cafe. Weiwei looked at him calculatedly, Xiao Nai was truly having fun with this at this point she wasn't sure if it was because of her reactions that she was giving off or poor Yu Banshan's. Might as well add his amusement she thought as she stated that she hadn't been there in months. Making Yu Banshan shriek again accusing Xiao Nai of knowing all along the identity of their Third Sister In-law was but keeping it to himself. Before Yu Banshan could get into a full on rant his boss reminded him to pay attention to the road, in a tone that broke no objections.

The remaining drive to the hospital was done in silence. Each member inside the car was left to their own thoughts. Xiao Nai was reliving the feeling of being so close to his wife finally, Yu Banshan's thoughts were in all kinds of disarray; he didn't know what thought to focus on, and Weiwei was relieved that Xiao Nai finally revealed himself along with feeling the pain in her ankle and knee. When they finally got there Xiao Nai once again picked Weiwei up, ignoring her protests and carried her into the hospital leaving poor Yugong to deal with the car and the laptops.

Once parked Yu Banshan called up his remaining brothers and told them what happened. Neither Qiu Yonghou nor Hao Mei could believe it and demanded to know where they were. Twenty minutes later the two remaining members of their raiding party bursted into Weiwei's hospital room and saw the Department Belle on the hospital bed with her leg propped up staring intently at her monitor and their Third Brother doing the same from a chair next to the bed. Glancing at the clock on the wall it appeared they had two minutes before the battle started. They looked over at Yugong with wide eyes and him mouthing "I know!" With an unbelieving look in his eyes.

The battle was intense but neither Weiwei nor Xiao Nai wasted any time obliterating their opponents. Weiwei was still waiting to be seen by the doctor and wasn't in the best mindset to drag these things out. After winning the battle and the all system announcement the online couple logged out. Taking a deep breath Weiwei looked over to the four men in the room and said tiredly "I take it that this must be Houzi Jiu and Mo Zha Ta." pointing correctly to the right person.

Xiao Nai just smiled and nodded at his clever wife while he helped her to get into a more comfortable position. While the others looked at the beauty in shock. Before they could ask how she figured it out she just said Qiu and Jiu are similar which left Senior Hao as Mo Zha Ta by default. It was a fifty fifty chance she added cheekily. Causing the three oldest to nervously laugh. The room fell into everyday conversation as they waited for the doctor to come take a look at her. It was taking longer than anyone in the room would have liked. While Weiwei was smiling friendly; she just really wanted to eat and pass out already. By the time it hit nine o'clock Weiwei asked if she could borrow someone's phone so she could inform her roommates on what was going on. Weiwei really didn't want to deal with too much drama and opted to call Xiao Ling out of her roommates; while she would be just as concerned she wouldn't be as excitable as the other two. She informed Xiao Ling of where she was explaining that she was still waiting for the doctor. Weiwei asked that Xiao Ling inform the Dorm Manager of her predicament and was about to ask if Xiao Ling could request for the Dorm Manager to make an exception so she could get in the building when she was finally released when Xiao Nai took the phone from her and told her roommate that he would take care of Weiwei's lodging for the night before disconnecting the call.

The beauty looked at her husband disbelievingly and was about to ask about said lodgings when the doctor finally appeared. After a few x-rays and a lot of medicine that really stung it was determined that it was a fractured ankle and a pretty bruised up kneecap. Weiwei would need to keep off of it as much as possible for the next couple of months which meant canceling her ticket back to Wuhan to see her parents. That was not a call that she would look forward to in the morning. Weiwei mumbled. Missing the gleam in her soon to be boyfriend's eye.

While many of her biggest burdens were taken care of and it was a great weight off of her shoulders. She now had all new ones to have to contend with but not tonight; now it was time to just let things run their proper course and she was going to enjoy what her new future has planned for her. She would tackle the issues in the morning but now she would have someone who was better prepared to tackle the hurdles with her.

The End.
