Disclaimer: I don't own Teen Titans.
"Hello there!"
Robin's ears perked upon hearing the familiar sweet voice which filled the room. He knew straight away who it belonged to before even turning to look at them. Lowering the superhero comic book he was reading, he averted his gaze to peer towards who had just entered the lounge.
A grin found its way onto the leader of the Teen Titans' face when he saw who it was.
Standing in the doorway, a bright innocent smiled on her sweet face - was Starfire.
"Hey, Star," Robin murmured.
"Oh…" Starfire beamed brightly. "It makes me so happy to see you…"
Robin's grin widened across his face. It always made him feel good whenever the red-haired girl said such nice things about him.
"I'm glad to hear that," he said.
"Never have I ever had anything on Earth or Tamaran as special as you."
The Boy Wonder raised an eyebrow. He was astonished to hear exactly what the Tamaranean princess thought of him. The two of them had always had a close bond since she had arrived to Earth, but he didn't know he was that precious to her.
"Is that so?" he murmured.
"You are such the pie of cutie-ness!"
Behind his mask, Robin's eyes widened. It sounded like Starfire had just called him - in her own unique was of speaking - a cutie pie. He quickly held a gloved hand to his face so that she wouldn't see him blushing.
"Star?!" he exclaimed, staring in astonishment at the alien princess. "Do you even know what you're saying!"
"Of course I do, Robin!" Starfire answered confidently. "How can anybody possibly resist the face as adorable as the one I am looking upon?"
Robin's heart raced inside his chest. To hear the beautiful girl saying such amazing things about him meant a lot. He had always thought from the moment they first met she looked so cute. He had no idea that all this time, she thought the same of him.
"Oh, I cannot help myself!" Starfire giggled. "I wish to take you in my arms and hug you m!"
That was enough for Robin. He lowered his glove hand from his burning cheeks to reveal the smile on his face. He was more than willing to let Starfire embrace him - even if her hugs could be too tight and painful on times. It was worth it to share a cuddle with the beautiful girl in his presence.
"Go ahead!" he urged. "If you really want to do that, Star, I won't stop you!"
With a happy laugh, Starfire jumped up from her feet. The young Tameranean flew across the lounge toward of the Boy Wonder, lifting her arms to stretch them out.
The grin on Robin's face was as wide as ever. He watched through his mask as Starfire soared in his direction. Quickly, lifted himself up from the couch. Standing before the approaching princess, he lifted up his own arms, ready to catch her and embrace her tightly…
…only for Starfire to fly straight past him.
"Huh?!"
All the delight and elation Robin was feeling faded. His smile disappeared upon receiving no hug from the cute girl. He looked over his shoulder with bewildered to see what Starfire was doing - before his eyes narrowed behind his mask upon finding out.
"Come here, my loved one!"
Starfire was scooping up someone else into her arms. She held him close to her, being careful not to squeeze him too tightly. The last thing she wanted to do was hurt this living soul who was so precious to her. She lifted a hand to stroke him affectionately as s. Her lips were still curled into a sweet smile as she planted them against his head, giving him a soft kiss.
"I love you, Silkie!" she cooed. "My little bumgorf!"
Silkie smiled. He was happy over receiving a wonderful hug from Starfire - as well as unaware of the jealous look he was getting from Robin.
"Of course…" The Boy Wonder muttered in a low voice as he gritted his teeth enviously. "I should have known all those comments Star was making were aiming at Silkie and not me. Never thought I'd have competition for her affection - against a moth caterpillar.
The end.
