The Japs and the Krauts were tough bastards, and they were resilient like cockroaches. Everywhere I went on the frontlines, I'd find them up to some dastardly plan or other. However, I managed to stop them dozens of times, and this would be just another time to get rid of them. Everyone on the Douglas C-47 was anxious and gitty to get their jobs done and hopefully make it home before winter, but who knows how long this fighting will go on?

"Doug, It's your turn to jump" The supervisor said from the front of the belly cabin looking directly at me. We were flying pretty low down, but a thirty or so meter jump wasn't much for a Commando like me. In fact, everyone on the plane would be expected to make fifty meter jumps after the first month of training.

"I'm on it. See you around Jim" I said to the man to my left. He was a blonde Englishman in his mid thirties and built like a truck. They had him with us today to support Kevin Jones with a drop over a good forty miles east.

"Take care Smith" He gave his goodbye to me with a white toothed grin.

Checking my weapons to make sure I had everything, I was set.

Then, I walked to the back port and jumped out the open back.

The air flew past my face as I fell the thirty or so meters to the open fields below.

The intel said that the Japs and their German buddies were working on some kind of dimensional portal to pull in a superpowered Hitler from an alternate universe.

It wasn't the craziest thing I'd seen them do. Hell, It wasn't even the most scary thing. I still remember vividly the giant crab demon that had a goddamned laser cannon it could use as a weapon, along with its many machine guns. That's not even talking about the skyscraper sized samurai mech the Japs tried to use to attack our base.

Let me introduce myself. I'm Doug Smith, Commando and smasher of Jap and Kraut armies.

When I landed with a slight boom on the ground in an open field in the middle of nowhere Germany, I pulled out my Beretti AC28 and made my way towards where the base was supposed to be. No need for a map, given that the damn Nazis and Japs had a huge factory the size of a small city less than two miles from where I was, and the hills were almost nonexistent nearby. They didn't even put up any anti aircraft countermeasures, and the fields weren't even mined. They probably thought that once Uber Hitler came through, the Allies, Us, would stand no chance.

That bodes bad for us.

I made it to the factory grounds with no delay, and the guards were quickly disposed of with a few well placed shots. The only people here who could keep up with me were probably superhumans like Uber Hitler himself, and I was looking forward to gutting the fucker if he didn't kill me first.

The factory was practically the size of a town itself, and was just one huge building with smaller ones around it.

Breaking in was easy, in fact the doors were open to it everywhere I went. I entered guns blazing, killing everyone inside. I took some returning fire to my body, but small arms fire and light machine guns would not even break my skin. As I made my way through the giant domed building, I was besieged by many soldiers and weaponry, but I was unharmed when I arrived at my goal.

It was a giant circle of steel with some magical circle underneath it in a glowing whitish blue energy. Just like the Nazis to use magic. Then I heard the cracking of knuckles behind me. I was wondering why the reinforcements hadn't fired on me. Now I got my answer.

Crack!

I was struck in the face by and overwhelming blow, sending my head snapping to the side as I was ragdolled a good ten meters across the empty concrete floor.

When I stopped rolling, I lay sprawled out for a few moments. Just when I was about to get up, I felt a steel blade drive into my left rib, but snapped against me.

Deciding I should take this a bit more seriously, I rolled away and hopped up.

"Pathetic" Came the thick Japanese accent of a muscular Japanese man who addressed me in English as an insult.

I wasn't a small man, in fact I stood six foot four and was quite strong, but this man must have come from the parentage of giants. He had to be at least eight feet tall and wide as an elephant. He wore nothing but white pants, likely some form of martial outfit.

I looked at my handgun and decided I needed bigger weaponry.

Quickly switching it out for my rocket launcher, I fired three rockets at the man who used some form of Ki to block the rockets with his bare hands, however, it did seem to stagger him for a few seconds.

Taking advantage of the stagger, I fired with my two submachine guns and managed to hurt him somewhat as he couldn't block every bullet.

Running around the man while firing had some good results, but his injuries were superficial.

He grunted and growled as my bullets tore away at his Ki shields until finally one pierced through his head and he fell to the ground dead.

Just as I was about to smile at my victory, I heard the sound of slow clapping.

"Very good. You killed Tahiro. I suppose this is your end though" a short German man spoke in an equally thick German accent. He was short and thin, and he held his hands behind his back as he walked up to me.

I didn't even dignify it with a response and opened fire on him with my machine guns.

Of course it wouldn't be that easy.

The bullets struck a translucent blue barrier and disappeared after going through it. Then, he took out a long nosed handgun and fired at me many times. It must have been some automatic handgun creation of the Nazi weaponmakers.

When I saw no bullets come towards me, I was confused. However, just looking at the smug smirk of the little uniformed man, I could tell this was no accident.

"Goodbye" he said before I felt the bullets tear into my body.

This shouldn't be happening. Normal bullets from anything other than a high caliber machine gun would do nothing to me.

I felt the wetness of blood stain my clothes as I looked down in shock.

"How?" I muttered, and it seemed the Nazi had heard me.

"Magic" He grinned as I fell to the ground. The light leaving me.

I vaguely remember the following events in a daze, as if I were barely awake. I was taken to a cell built into the wall closest to the portal. It seemed there were other prisoners of war here, forced to watch as Uber Hitler arrived.

However, I still wasn't dead yet.

With pain and sluggish movements, I got up. The cuffs holding me I snapped with relative effort and trudged up to the bars between me and the portal.

I grabbed two and pulled outward. They were strong, and I noticed runes carved into them that glowed when I tried to force them open.

"More magic" I growled in anger, then pulled with all my strength before the bars parted for me, the magic overwhelmed by sheer strength. Then I paused as I felt my not fully healed wounds burn and reopen.

I only had one weapon left with me, my Beretti AC28. It was enchanted to always return to me and have infinite ammo no matter where or how I was. Sprinting to the portal that was now glowing with a blue sphere of energy in the middle before the Nazis could do anything to stop me. I jumped into it, risking my future on whatever lay across time and space.

After Doug had jumped through, the energy used for Uber Hitler was instead used by the Englishman and the machine turned off, as the energy could not be gathered for another twenty years, in which the Allies would score a tough but consolidated defeat of the Axis powers.

However, Doug Smith would never be found on Earth again.
