Izumi clicked on the system message and the quest appeared in the chat.

[Kuroneko]: It is a city on Earth, which is Miyamura's, Korosensei and my world. But from which manga does an alien invasion on New York happen?

In a barn, lay a boy about 15 years old with a green tracksuit. As he was reading the texts, he started sweating when he saw Erza's question.

[Kuroneko]: The world he lives in contains Devils, Gods, humans with special powers and gears, and Dragons who can destroy the world multiple times over without a single thought.

When the members were chatting, the system sent a notification.

[Since this is the first mission, all members will receive 2 magic awakening pills and 2 body purification and enhancement pills.]

[Magic awakening pill: A pill that helps awaken the mana inside of a person. Cannot be used by someone who already has magic.]

[Body purification and enhancement pills: A pill that gets rid of the body's impurities and makes it stronger. Cannot be used twice.]

[Kuroneko]: Does this mean I can start practicing magic?

[Kazuma]: I guess so.

[Korosensei]: Body purification and enhancement pills?

[Izumi]: I think it's like the pills in those martial arts/cultivation novels where they strengthen the body.

[Erza]: I understand, but I think the magic awakening pill is useless for me.

[Izumi]: Keep it in case. At least until the store opens.

[Erza]: All right.

[Izumi]: Alright guys, it is getting late here and I need to wake up early tomorrow to go to school. Bye, everyone.

Izumi closed his screen when he received a notification.

"Sure why not' thought Izumi. It would be better for him and he can use the chat without looking like a weirdo waving his hands in the air.

When he pressed Yes, a small flash appeared and his phone changed its appearance. It became a touchscreen smartphone like the ones that were popular in his old world.

After examining his phone, he closed it and went to sleep.

That night, in a room, a young girl with black hair in black clothes was on her bed thinking about the ridiculous day she had.

"Who knew something like this existed," she thought back to the chat she had with the members of the Multiverse Chat Group. She got ready to go to bed and open the system to watch the Avengers while thinking about the pills she received.

The next day, Izumi woke up and got ready to go to school. As usual, his mom was already at the cake shop and left his breakfast on the table. He ate it and left for school. At school, he didn't interact with anyone. Even in his past life, he was more of a loner and introvert. Classes were boring as it was only the beginning of the semester. Instead of listening to the teacher, he thought about his quest.

"The quest will be in two days and I need to prepare for it. What do I have and what do I need?" he monologued while taking out a notebook to write down whatever he needs.

"I don't have much magic. I can only do some basic spells like fireball and it takes a long time as I need to calculate and visualize the process. I wished I had Devil magic where I only need to imagine." he sighed. He paused; maybe he can do something about it. He put that thought in the back of his mind.

He still didn't know how the Void had affected him. The only things he knew were the headaches and the voices. Some might say that he had schizophrenia, but Izumi would counter them that anything was possible in the Moonlit World. Therefore he kept check on his condition.

At the end of the day, after long hours of boring classes, he had a plan in his head.

It was a good thing that tomorrow was a Sunday and a day off and he could dedicate his day to training.

Izumi quickly went home and greeted his mother and finished his supper. Once he saw that his mother went back to the cake shop, he got ready to take the pill. He went to the bathroom and got in the bathtub so that he does not stain anything.

"Here we go," he said to himself. Taking the pill out of the system, he started to examine it. The pill was as big as marble and it was gold in colour. Izumi could've sworn that he saw the pill glowing and wisps of golden vapour-like gas escaping from the pill. Taking a deep breath, he swallowed it. Surprisingly, the pill tasted like M&M chocolate. After swallowing, he waited for its effect. After what felt like a minute, he didn't feel anything.

"Was it a bust?" he asked aloud. One should know that you never tried to tempt Fate in anything. It seems like Izumi forgot this particular lesson. As soon as the words left his mouth, Pain started rampaging in his body. It felt like his body was being repeatedly stabbed by a hot knife. Gritting his teeth, he endured the pain. It was so painful he almost blacked out, but Izumi persevered through the pain. After what felt like an eternity, They stopped and he stood up from his bathtub. He saw on the floor a small puddle of black gunk-like substance.

"Holy shit! It smells horrible!" Izumi thought while pinching his nose. He washed everything as fast as possible and got rid of the smell using an air purifier. Turning off the knob and getting out of his bathtub, he examined himself in the mirror. He was now taller and more muscular. He had flawless skin with muscles that looked like they had been chiselled. He was now sporting a six-pack on his stomach. He felt that his vision was sharper, his sense of smell stronger, and his hearing could perceive more sounds. Izumi also felt lighter and stronger. He also felt that his mind was working like a well-oiled machine. If he compared his body from before eating a pill. It was like comparing an F1 racing car to a scooter. The difference was massive. He also felt that his mana was circulating better and felt that his reserve increased a little. It wasn't a huge jump because mana came from his magic circuits which came from the soul. He looked down and saw that his little brother has become bigger. He nodded in appreciation.

"Damn, if this happened to me, I wonder what will happen to all the members of the chat. Will Erza become even stronger? Will Korosensei become even faster or will he regain his body back?" he thought.

"Now let's go to sleep and tomorrow is training time." Izumi went to bed with a smile eagerly waiting for tomorrow.

Usually, Izumi wakes up at 6:30 AM to go do some morning physical and magical practice, but today, he woke up at 5 AM to test the effects of the pill on his body. Grabbing his workout clothes and putting on his music, he went to start his workout.

After 2 hours of training, he noted many things. Everything about his body has been enhanced. His endurance and recovery have increased. He could now run 20 km without breaking a sweat and at a very high speed. It was a good thing no one was around when he tested that. He could now crush rocks with ease and with his bare hands. His brain also got an upgrade. His calculation speed has now increased and it looks like he now has eidetic memory which is a huge blessing. No more hours of studying! Because his calculation and visualization have increased, his magic also had an upgrade. He could now do some spells that he struggled with before. He could now maintain a fireball for a very long time. After his reincarnation, he realized that he didn't have a specific affinity for any magic, therefore, he can do anything he can calculate and visualize. But the downside is that he has to remember a lot of formulas and the process which takes time and delays his casting time.

After training for almost an entire day, it was time for the mission. He opened the chat and saw the other members conversing.

[Kuroneko]: The pills are simply amazing. It seems like it has also granted me a type of magic.

[Kazuma]: It is the same for me. I got earth magic. What about you?

[Kuroneko]: I got darkness magic. It is simply fitting for the Queen of Nightmare to have this sort of magic.

[Erza]: I didn't use the magic awakening pill, but the body purification and enhancement are phenomenal. I could feel that my strength has increased.

[Korosensei]: The pills are indeed amazing. It seems that I have gotten magic called Innate Time Control.

[Kazuma]: Isn't that the magic of Kiritsugu Emiya from Fate?

[Korosensei]: Yes you are right. I can make myself faster or slower. It is a shame the body pills didn't give my body back. On the plus side, I get to keep my tentacles and go even faster.

[Kuroneko]: Rip

[Kazuma]: Rip

[Erza]: Do not worry Korosensei. Maybe this chat group will help you find a way to help you.

[Kazuma]: Where is the Admin? It is almost time for the quest. Come out.

At that moment, Izumi was blinded by a light that enveloped him and he disappeared leaving an empty room and a time-frozen world.
