[I do not and never will own Arthur]

FOREWARN: The following stunts you see in this fanfic and in the TV show intro were performed by trained and licensed animals. Under no circumstances should you try these stunts yourself at home.

It was time to start up the Arthur theme song.

Arthur was in position with Pal, ready to begin.

"OK," said the director on the set, "This is the Arthur Theme Song; Take 1. And... ACTION!"

The clapboard clapped.

Arthur and Pal walked along the street, as the song 'Believe in Yourself', by Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers started up.

Everyday when you're walking down the street

Suddenly, Arthur clicked his heels, and accidentally kicked Pal off the screen!

"Cut!" said the director.

"Oh, Sorry, Pal!" Arthur called. He ran to help Pal up. "Try not to get in the way when I kick my heels, ok?" he said to his dog. Pal yipped.

"OK, Take 2." the director said. "Action!"

Suddenly, Arthur tripped and fell over on the street, ending up face-down on the floor.

"CUT!" the director called. "Arthur, get up, and let's try that again!"

"CUT! Get the door unstuck please!" called the director.

Arthur's family were completely blinded by their accident with their cameras. "I can't see!" D.W. cried as she walked around, trying to find her way around. "Mom! Dad! Where are you?"

"Honey!" David called to his wife. "Where are you?"

"Where are you? I can't see you!" Jane called to her husband. "Grandma Thora?! Grandpa Dave?"

Arthur and the cast and crew had to run around making sure Arthur's family didn't hurt themselves, and gathered them into one spot, till the blindness went away.

"Mom, make sure you, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, and D.W. take a picture of me next time." Arthur told them.

"Got it, Arthur." Jane said. David, Grandpa Dave & Grandma Thora agreed.

"Uhhhhh... what was my line again?" she asked.

"D.W., you were supposed to say 'hey!" Arthur said, from another part of the set that was filming the bit where he was on the tv at the end of the theme song.

Everyone laughed.

"Sorry," D.W. said through laughing, "I forgot!"

And it comes from the heart

Jane pulled Arthur into a hug, then released him, and he jumped away.

Believe in yourself, (believe in yourself)

For that's the place to start (place to start)

On the next page of the book, Arthur went through the wall, and came to high-five Buster as he passed by on his bike.

And I say hey!

"Hey!" said Arthur, and the other Arthur characters at the same time, as he flew down in front of the faces of the other Arthur characters.

What a wonderful kind of day

Arthur, in his swim shorts, fell backwards into a swimming pool full of REAL water, like what you'd find in a swimming pool. He swam in sync with Buster, whilst Brain and Muffy sat at the edge and watched. Muffy slurped a drink of orange juice.

If we could learn to work and play

Suddenly Brain saw what he thought was a brown shark fin, and gasped, accidentally bumping Muffy, making her spill her orange juice into her face.

And get along with each other

Then it turned out the 'shark fin' was actually Arthur's teacher Mr Ratburn, also swimming in the pool. "Hey!" Mr Ratburn said.

Muffy glared at Brain.

What a wonderful kind of day

"Hey!" said the faces of Arthur and the other Arthur characters at the same time, as they spun round.

Then Arthur marched on the world.

What a wonderful kind of day

HEY!

On the final 'Hey!' D.W. shut the book she was reading.

"Hey! D.W.!" Arthur's voice called from the TV. D.W. noticed her brother sitting on the circle above the Arthur title.

"HEY!" she shouted loudly, so loudly, that Arthur fell off the intro circle he was sitting on. "Whoooooaaaaaaa...Ooh!" went Arthur as he landed with a thump, and the letters of the Arthur title fell down shortly after.

Luckily, Arthur landed on a soft mattress, so he didn't get hurt.

"CUT! Print it, that's a wrap, people!" said the director.

"We did it with no mistakes!" D.W. said as she went to see her brother, followed by Jane, David, and Arthur's friends. "Isn't that great, Arthur?"

"Yeah, it was," Arthur said.

"I just know our theme song will be great for the show when it's ready to be broadcast." D.W. said. "I guess everything worked out perfectly!"

"D.W.," Jane said, turning to look at her, "you really shouldn't say things like that."

"Why not, Mom?" D.W. asked.

As if on cue, an intern carrying a bucket of water suddenly tripped over his shoelaces and sent the bucket of water flying onto Arthur & his friends & family, and everyone got soaked wet. then, the circle for the Arthur logo fell down with a crash in the background.

"Uhh, Mom." D.W. said, "I think I just figured out why I really shouldn't say things like that."

"You know what," Arthur said, "maybe we can fix it in the editing."

One thing was for sure; THAT was a blooper totally not caught on camera.
