Summary: A double drabble written for the Tumblr hurt/comfort dialogue prompt: "What's bothering you?"
Peter needs to decide whether or not to agree to take Neal's prisoner phone calls.
"Peter, what's bothering you? You've been distracted all evening."
"Sorry El. It's Neal Caffrey. He's asked that I be on his approved list for prisoner phone calls. Why would he do that? Why would he want to call me?"
"Oh Hon, like I've said before, he's probably lacked a strong, stable, male role model, or father figure in his life. For better or worse, he's latched onto you to fill that void."
"I was his case agent. It's not appropriate. I shouldn't encourage him."
"What's your gut saying to do?"
Two weeks later
"Hi Peter. Thanks for taking my call."
