Defendant Lobby No. 5

"Thanks for that swift delivery yesterday, Lionel. It looks like Apollo is going to make it." David said.

"Thank goodness." Double D sighed in relief. "It was a shock stumbling onto a scene like that."

"Still, poor guy." 9S said.

"Lionel, does Apollo remember anything?" Ezana asked.

"Not from before he was assaulted. Not from what he was doing in the courtroom, or who attacked him." Lionel said. "The doctors have attributed it to the blow he has taken to his head."

"Head trauma." Ginseng said.

"Because of what happened to Apollo, we didn't have time to make a thorough investigation. We'll have to go in with what we have." Shionne said.

"Right. We'll focus on clearing Juniper's name today. I'm sure Apollo will be fine, he's been through worse." Phoenix said. "Double D, 9S, are you staying on the defense with me and Athena?"

"Yes. I made it this far after all." 9S said. "153 and I will do what we can to help." he said as he fistbumped with his Pod.

"And I shall do all I can to assist in this endeavor as well. I owe Apollo and David that much, at the very least." Double D said with determination.

"Alright, but I'm coming with you guys to step in if you need help." Glimmer said.

"Thanks, Glimmer." 9S said.

"Trish, are you coming too?" Glimmer asked.

"You can count on me!" Trish said.

"Will anyone else be joining us?" Double D asked.

"Nah, I think we're good." Eddy said. "Knock 'em out, Sockhead."

"You as well, 9S." 2B said. "Glory…to the Hero Alliance."

With those well-wishes, the defense team entered the courtroom, prepared to find the truth of the case.

December 18, 9:50 AM

District Court - Courtroom No. 5

Day 2

Court Is Now In Session

All Rise

"Court will now reconvene for the trial of Juniper Woods." The Judge announced.

"The prosecution is ready, Your Honor." Gaspen said.

"The defense is also ready, Your Honor." Phoenix said.

"Now, then. I believe I instructed the prosecution to further their investigation." The Judge recalled as he turned his gaze to Gaspen. "Were you able to locate the remote switch in question?"

"Unfortunately, despite my best efforts, I was unable to locate the missing switch." Gaspen admitted. "There is a separate matter, however, that I would like to bring up during this trial."

"(I don't like where this is going…)" Glimmer thought.

"I assume you are aware that another incident occurred during yesterday's trial? I'm speaking of course, of the assault on Mr. Justice in the ruins of Courtroom No. 4." Gaspen clarified.

"Yes, what a truly harrowing experience it must have been. Poor Mr. Justice." The Judge said.

"At the time of the attack, Mr. Justice was not alone. He was with the defendant, Ms. Juniper Woods." Gaspen said. "Therefore, the prosecution wishes to indict Ms. Woods on the charge of Mr. Justice's assault!"

This declaration threw a few members of the jury into an uproar.

"Order! Order in the court!" The Judge banged his gavel. "Mr. Payne! The incident under deliberation here is the courtroom bombing! The assault on Mr. Justice has nothing to do with this trial."

"I agree with his Honor, Payne! Theres no connection between what happened with Apollo and Detecive Arme's murder at all!" Glimmer said.

"Oh, but there is. Consider the fact that both events occurred in the same courtroom." Payne said, patting his hair before showing a diagram of the courtroom's layout and pointing to the bottom of the stairs. "This is the location in Courtroom No.4 where the unconscious Mr. Justice was discovered. As you can see, it's quite close to where Detective Arme's body was found."

153 scanned the diagram and added it to her memory of the court record.

"The question to be asked now is, why would the culprit need to attack Mr. Justice?" Payne asked. "I believe Mr. Justice found something in that courtroom while Ms. Woods was with him - evidence that fingered her as the perpetrator of the bombing!"

"You mean he found some incriminating evidence?!" the Judge exclaimed in shock.

"Precisely! And so, I surmise that the defendant picked up a piece of rubble and hit Mr. Justice on the back of the head in order to silence him!" Payne declared.

OBJECTION!

"Junie would never do such a thing! She was devastated when we found Apollo hurt like that!" Athena declared with heat in her voice.

"Athena, behave yourself!" Double D pleaded.

After a moment to clear his throat, Gaspen continued. "It is the prosecution's belief that by deliberating on Mr. Justice's assault...we will draw ever closer to the truth of the courtroom bombing itself."

"...Very well. Ms. Woods is hereby officially indicted on the charge of assaulting Mr. Justice." the Judge said.

"Damn it." 9S said.

"This is bad…" Double D said before shaking his head. "However, Mr. Payne is right in one regard: investigating Apollo's assault will no doubt open an avenue to discovering the true culprit of the bombing."

"You could be right Double D. Juniper said Apollo was looking for evidence in Courtroom No. 4." Glimmer said in a thinking stance. "His assault and the bombing have gotta be connected somehow."

"I would like to start by hearing from the defendant herself." Gaspen stated.

"Very well. Bailiff, please bring Ms. Woods to the witness stand." the Judge asked, the bailiff going to do so.

"Oh dear…in the state she's in now…" Double D said in worry.

Juniper then made her way to the stand, coughing up a storm.

"I-I'm sorry. *cough* I can't seem to stop... *cough*" Juniper meekly apologized.

"It's alright, Juniper." 9S said.

"Ms. Woods, if you would, please testify to the court what happened between you Apollo yesterday in Courtroom No. 4." Gaspen said.

Witness Testimony

- Alone with Apollo -

During the trial yesterday... I was overcome by a fit of coughing…

Apollo stayed with me and we went to the courtroom ruins together.

But then I was called back to this courtroom to give testimony…

Apollo insisted on staying behind in Courtroom No. 4.

I swear I didn't attack Apollo! Why would I ever hurt such a kind person?

Apollo stayed with me and we went to the courtroom ruins together. ←

"So Apollo stayed behind for some reason?" Glimmer wondered. "Knowing him, he must've found some sort of evidence back there."

"As I stated, there is a connection to this current case. But, Ms. Woods has told a very big lie." Gaspen said. "She did in fact attack Mr. Justice, in order to destroy the very evidence he had found!"

"N-No…! I never…!" Juniper stammered.

OBJECTION!

"Ms. Woods repaid Mr. Justice's kindness with violence. We found the proof of her foul deed there in the courtroom ruins." Gaspen said, pulling out a picture of an unconscious Apollo and the surrounding area. "Do you see it? There in front of Mr. Justice's right hand? Witness the message he left us!"

"You gotta be kidding me…!" Glimmer said, seeing bloody writing spelling out "Woods" all in capital letters.

"How would he…wait…" Double D said. "You were looking for that rhino doll. Where did you search?"

"I think it was by the witness stand." Juniper said.

"But…no one could even get close." Double D said showing the diagram. "With all the rubble, it would be impossible."

"Hmph. Does such a tiny inconsistency even matter? Perhaps the witness is simply misremembering it." Gaspen said.

"I respectfully disagree, Mr. Payne." Double D said, his tone conveying the opposite feeling. "If this diagram is all you have to prove your point, I'm afraid you cannot do so."

"Ah…well, I do have something else." Gaspen said, slightly taken aback by the boy's tone. "Here it is. It's a more pulled-back version of the photo I presented before." he said, placing the photo down for Pod 153 to add to the record.

"Hm? Hey, there's something there." Trish said.

"You're right, Trish. I think that's the transport case the bomb was in." Glimmer said.

"Ah, yes. That transport case was there in Courtroom No. 4 when the bomb went off. It must have been there ever since." the Judge said..

"Yes but…it's in a different place than when I remember." Juniper said.

"What does it matter if it's not in the same place?" Gaspen said.

OBJECTION!

"It means everything to this case. In fact, it might just turn this whole thing on its head!" Trish said.

"W-What?!" Gaspen exclaimed.

"Well! That certainly sounds very relevant indeed, Ms. Trish! And you sound as though you know where the case was at the time of the attack." the Judge said.

"Yeah, I might have a good idea." Trish said. "Around…here. Where that writing is."

"But that's…!" the Judge realized.

"I-Inconceivable…!" Gaspen denied.

"What Trish is saying is vital." Double D said, keeping the defense's offense going. "If the transport case was in that position at the time of the assault, then no message could have been written there, because the case was in the way! Which leads us to conclude that Mr. Justice couldn't have left that bloody writing!"

OBJECTION!

"Why should we believe the girl's claim that the case was in a different position?! She's obviously lying!" Gaspen countered.

OBJECTION!

"Trish knows what she's talking about! The fact that the case was moved after the assault on Apollo is proven just by Juniper's own testimony!" Glimmer said.

"And where might this proof be?!" Gaspen said.

"I'm glad you asked, Mr. Payne." Glimmer smiled. "Lets go back to the photo of after Apollos assault. The answer to your question is right there."

"Well then, Ms. Glimmer, please show us. What in this photo indicates that the transport case was moved after the assault?" The Judge asked.

Present: Wheel Tracks on Bandages

TAKE THAT!

"Take a closer look at Apollo's bandages." Glimmer said, pointing to Apollo's bandages, which had markings on them. "As you can see, there are wheel tracks on them. The case was moved right over them. Meaning…they were on the right of Apollo…meaning…it was clearly moved!"

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Gaspen yelled, slamming his hands on his desk.

"Not to mention, the case was covering the writing at the time of the assault. Meaning Apollo couldn't have left the bloody message." Trish said.

"But then who could have written the message, if not Mr. Justice?" the judge asked.

"Well, it could've been that Ishihara boy! He got injured in the bombing. Couldn't he have used his own blood?" Gaspen asked.

"Sorry, but no. His wound was only a minor injury. There were no traces of blood leaving his arm." Trish said. "There was someone else that shed blood, however."

"(Wait… is Trish thinking of who I think she's thinking?)" Phoenix asked himself before slamming his hands on the desk. "Your Honor! I believe I know who Trish is referring to! The one who really wrote the message… was in fact Detective Candice Arme!"

"WHAAAT?!" the Judge exclaimed.

"Come again?!" Double D said in shock.

"Mr. Wright, have you and Trish completely lost it?!" Athena asked.

"We wish we did. But it's the only way this makes sense." Trish said.

OBJECTION!

"What kind of ridiculous assertion is that?! If you had said the attacker left the message to throw people off, it might've made sense." Gaspen said.

"Maybe. However, neither David or Apollo shed enough blood to write such an extensive message." Trish said.

"W-Well…why would Detective Arme write the defendant's name?" Gaspen pointed out. "We've already confirmed that there is no connection between them!"

"Perhaps we've been looking at the message the wrong way." Double D spoke up.

"Yes. Detective Arme might have had someone else in mind." Shuichi said. "That was the person she was trying to convict."

"What are you talking it about? It clearly says Woods." Gaspen said.

"No, it only looks that way at a glance!" Double D said. "However, if you separate the 'W' into two parts and erase the third line of that letter, then the curved part of D, you could instead read it as "L10015"!"

"...Take a look at the transport case number, Payne. That would give everyone here the best hint." Trish said.

"Oh my god… Ted Tonate… That's his identification number!" Gaspen said in shock.

"That's right! As we all know, Mr. Tonate was at the scene, both in transporting the case with Ms. Arme, and being the first to arrive on the scene when the bomb went off. With that in mind…." Glimmer said before pointing ahead. "... I think Ted Tonate just became our primary suspect!"

"The Defense calls Ted Tonate to the stand!" 9S said.

"(Well Mr. Tonate…it seems you're about to get your wish.)" Double D thought as the bomb disposal specialist took the stand, switching out with Juniper, to her relief.

"Mr. Tonate, I'm afraid we have a few more questions for you." the Judge said.

"I UNDERSTAND THE SITUATION, YOUR HONOR. I WAS KEEPING A CLOSE EYE ON THE PROCEEDINGS FROM THE GALLERY." Ted typed. "THE ALLEGATIONS ARE ALL LAUGHABLE."

"You were the first to discover Detective Arme's body, and used the bomb case to cover the blood writing, which explains the tracks on Apollo's bandaged arm." 9S said.

"I SEE x2. BUT THEN, LET ME ASK YOU: DO YOU HAVE ANY PROOF THAT DETECTIVE ARME WROTE THAT MESSAGE?" Ted typed.

"Why not request an analysis of the blood on the courtoom's floor?" 9S said.

"A very good suggestion, Mr. 9S." The Judge nodded. "Bailiff! Please put in a request for a DNA test with the forensics team!"

"Yes, your honor!" the bailiff nodded.

"It will take some time for the DNA test to be completed." Double D said. "While we wait…how about some testimony from our new favorite bomb disposal officer?"

"I WOULD LIKE NOTHING MORE, YOUNG MAN. I WANT THE COURT TO HEAR HOW RIDICULOUS YOUR TEAM'S THEORY IS." Ted typed out with a noticeable smirk.

Witness Testimony

- After the Explosion -

I ADMIT I WAS THE FIRST ONE ON THE SCENE AFTER THE EXPLOSION.

BUT THERE WAS NO BLOODY WRITING THERE AT THAT TIME.

ANYWAY, THERE IS NO WAY DETECTIVE ARME COULD HAVE WRITTEN IT.

SHE HAD STRUCK HER HEAD ON RUBBLE AND DIED NEAR THE COURTROOM ENTRANCE.

SHE WAS TOO FAR AWAY FROM WHERE THE BLOODY MESSAGE WAS FOUND.

STRUCK HER HEAD ON RUBBLE ←

Present: Candice Armes Autopsy

OBJECTION!

9S was the one to call it out. "Pod, read back to the court what the autopsy report says."

"Understood. Cause of death was trauma to back of head with a flat object." 153 said.

"YES. WHAT OF IT?" Ted typed.

"It wasn't the rubble that killed her, despite the bloodstain on it. Rather it was a flat object." 9S said, pointing at Tonate. "That piece of rubble from the photo of Ms. Arme's death is clearly sharp, nothing flat about it!"

"ND$OIJH AJ9LS WO&J09 BDSK ^(*&!" Ted typed wildly.

"Th-That is odd, isn't it? What could be the meaning of this contradiction?" The Judge asked.

"I believe what 9S is implying is that the victim did not hit her head on this piece of rubble. The bloodstain you see is just another fabrication. Its purpose is to mislead us into thinking the victim died near the courtroom entrance!" Phoenix declared.

"Then she was killed somewhere else, then moved…" the Judge realized. "And it must have been close to where the message was!"

"Precisely, Your Honor." Double D said as the Bailiff walked back into the courtroom holding a piece of paper.

"Your Honor! I have the results of the bloodstain analysis!" the Bailiff announced.

"Ah, very good timing. Let's take a look." The Judge said as he took the paper and read through it. "Hmm... According to this report, the message was written in Detective Arme's blood. And, as the defense claims, only the parts of the message that were added afterwards...were written in Mr. Justice's blood. It would appear that the defense's assertion is correct after all." he said, handing the paper to 153 to be added to the Court Record.

"Looks like you're caught in a web of lies, Tonate." Glimmer smirked at Ted. "Let's see you disarm the trap you set yourself up in!"

"...FINE. I WILL CONFESS CONCERNING THESE NEW DEVELOPMENTS.". Ted typed. "AND THIS TIME, I WILL TELL THE TRUTH."

Witness Testimony

- The Truth -

IT IS TRUE THAT DETECTIVE ARME WROTE MY ID NUMBER.

SHE VERY PLAINLY WROTE "L10015R." I WAS SHOCKED.

BUT I DID NOT DETONATE THE BOMB.

DETECTIVE ARME MUST HAVE MISTAKEN ME FOR THE REAL BOMBER.

NOT WANTING TO BE ACCUSED, I MOVED THE BODY AND COVERED THE WRITING. MY BAD.

→ "L10015R" ←

Present: Bloody Writing Analysis

OBJECTION!

"Not so fast, part of the letter 'R' in that message was a last minute addition because it was missing." 9S said.

"HUH?" Ted typed, looking worried for a moment before he composed himself. "O-OH! OH, RIGHT! NOW I REMEMBER. THERE WAS NO "R" ON THE END. I-IT WAS JUST A SLIP OF THE FINGER. MY BAD."

"(Was it really? I don't think 9S could've made a mistake like that…)" Glimmer thought.

"Oh, but you did see an R, Mr. Tonate." Double D stated. "Look to the crack at the right of the 5. Do you notice anything?"

"Oh, I see it! Just on the edge of where the floor is broken up!" The Judge said. "That must have been the R!"

"It was there before the floor was damaged, which means…Detective Arme was murdered BEFORE the bombing!" 9S said, pointing at Tonate.

"That's ridiculous!" Gaspen exclaimed. "That overturns your entire premise!"

OBJECTION!

"Tonate returned to the courtroom after the bombing to make it look like Detective Arme died in the explosion." 9S said.

"Mr. Payne, perhaps you could enlighten us: who was the last person to see Detective Arme before the trial began?" Double D asked.

"Let's see... According to the police report…" Gaspen said, looking over said report. "Ah, here it is! One person! One person saw the victim before the trial! And that person was... Ted Tonate... Wait, what?!"

"And there you have it! Ted Tonate was the last person to see the victim alive! Mr. Tonate, would you provide testimony on your whereabouts before the trial?"

"MY TESTIMONY? THERE IS NO NEED FOR... WHALJ8 6Y9PO 4XQ*& HBR9Z VE8#! BEcAUszE oPT! ALL I DDDID WAS TRANSPORT THE BBBOMB TO THE3 COURTROOM! I ALREADY TTTOLD YOU! POAOU 2LWJ OUOKST!" Ted typed, his keyboard glitching up. "Agh! This blasted thing!"

"He's so unnerved, we forced him to actually talk! We got him!" Glimmer cheered.

OBJECTION!

"Not so fast, Ms. Glimmer! You seem to be forgetting one thing." Gaspen said. "The murder weapon! What do you claim was used to kill the victim?!"

"I think I can answer that." Trish said, presenting the HH-3000 Bomb. "He used this."

"Th-That's the bomb. I thought you were trying to prove that the victim wasn't killed by the bomb blast." The Judge pointed out.

"Not by the blast, no. But recall the autopsy: "Trauma to back of head caused by impact with a flat object." This bomb matches the description perfectly." Trish said.

"Hahahaha! Where is your proof? Have you forgotten…the bomb is no more as it exploded!" Tonate said. "Game over!"

"Then open that bomb case of yours." 9S said.

"...W-What?" Ted asked. "Why?! No! There's no need!"

"Open it, because that's where you could've hidden the body between the time of the murder and the bombing." 9S said.

"If you are truly innocent, then there should be nothing inside that case, correct?" Double D asked. "Then, Mr. Tonate…show us what's inside!"

HOLD IT!

"I suggest all of you back up…unless you don't value your lives!" Tonate said as he set a bomb onto the stand.

"Your fake HH-3000? You're really trying to psyche us out now?" Glimmer asked.

"I LIED." Ted typed. "THIS IS THE REAL DEAL. THIS IS THE HH-3000. AND IT IS SET TO EXPLODE IN FIVE MINUTES."

"That's impossible. The HH-3000 was destroyed in the blast." Trish said.

"HOW DO YOU KNOW IT WAS THE REAL HH-3000 THAT BLEW UP COURTROOM NO. 4?" Ted typed. "THE BOMB THAT BLEW UP THE COURTROOM WAS A DIFFERENT ONE, ONE THAT I MADE. THAT BOMB…WAS SO UNIQUE! I COULD NEVER REPLICATE THAT DETONATION MECHANISM. I JUST HAD TO HAVE IT. SO JUST BEFORE THE TRIAL...I TOOK THE HH-3000 OUT OF THE STUFFED ANIMAL AND PUT MY OWN BOMB INTO IT. THAT WAS THE BOMB THAT EXPLODED AND DESTROYED COURTROOM NO. 4."

"T-Then…what you're holding is…!" Gaspen stammered as his whole body quacked in fright.

"THE REAL BOMB. YOU HAD BETTER GET OUT OF HERE WHILE YOU CAN. YOU DO NOT HAVE MUCH TIME." Ted declared.

"EEEK!" Gaspen shrieked before he ran out of the courtroom, followed by most of the jury, save for the Hero Alliance members.

"THE DEFENSE AND THEIR SUPPORT ARE STILL HERE? WELL. AREN'T YOU ALL BRAVE." Ted typed.

"(We're not so brave, so much as he's desperate. He's so close to being pinned as the real culprit, he had to stage this situation. All we need is one final blow to clinch it, and this case is over.)" Glimmer said.

"WELL, IT'S BEEN FUN, BUT I WILL BE GOING NOW. WITH MY DEAR, DEAR HH-3000, NATURALLY. OH, AND BY THE WAY. I WOULD ADVISE AGAINST HAVING ME FOLLOWED. EVEN WITH NO REMOTE SWITCH, THIS BOMB CAN STILL BE TRIGGERED MANUALLY. IF I THINK I'M BEING FOLLOWED, I WILL DETONATE IT ON THE SPOT. FAREWELL."

HOLD IT!

"You're not going anywhere. You might've fooled the prosecution and most of the jury into thinking that bomb is real, but you're not fooling us." Glimmer spoke up. "That bomb is still the fake."

"MORE OF YOUR MENTOR'S FAMOUS BLUFFING? EVEN AT THE RISK OF YOUR OWN LIVES?" Ted typed.

"Mr. Tonate, we've long since discarded the fear of bombs." Double D said. "Even if you had a real bomb, we would stand our ground. But since you are determined to stick to your guns…look at the timer display on the photo of the bomb."

"The bomb that killed the detective had its timer broken. That timer is perfectly fine." Trish said.

"Oh! Ms. Trish, you're right!" The Judge said.

"Therefore, that is not the real HH-3000. Mr. Tonate was clearly lying when he said he switched out the bomb in the stuffed animal! The real HH-3000 blew up in Courtroom No. 4! This bomb is nothing more than a fake, a model used for training purposes!" Phoenix said. "9S, would you do the honors and open the bomb case?"

"Of course." 9S said as he did so, revealing a human sized bloodstain inside.

"Just as we suspected." Double D said. "Your lies have all been blown to bits, Mr. Tonate!"

"G-G-GRRRAAAHHH!" Ted was so furious, he was actually biting the bomb's wires.

"There's no doubt that bloodstain inside matches to Detective Arme's blood! A scan from 153 or another DNA test is all we need to prove it!" Glimme said.

"How about it, Mr. Tonate?" Phoenix asked the defense team, as a whole, pointed at Ted Tonate emphatically.

"Think you can dismantle this conclusive evidence?!"

"...Dismantle it?" Ted asked before he began to laugh. "Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! You're too late! You missed your chance to run, so now you're out of time! This HH-3000, is about to explode! It's real! This bomb is the real thing, I tell you! It's real... Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Hee hee hee hee hee hee hee! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!" he cackled as his own robotic eyes were flashing like mad.

"...Yep. We got 'em." Glimmer nodded with a smile, knowing this was the end.

"There's no time left! It's going to blow! I have to disarm it! I have to take it apart! I can dismantle anything! I can take apart evidence! I can take apart bombs! I can dismantle it all!" Ted declared madly as he yanked the wires with his teeth. "DISMANTLE DISMANTLE DISMANTLE DISMANTLE DISMANTLE DISMANTLE DISMANTLE DISMANTLE DISMANTLE DISMANTLE DISMANTLE DISMANTLE DISMANTLE DISMANTLE DISMANTLE DISMANTLE DISMANTLE DISMANTLE!" he yelled as he raised his face to the heavens. "I'M NOT GONNA MAKE IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT! ONLY ONE THING LEFT TO DOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" he yelled as he extended his eyes out. "STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!"

And with that… he smashed his face into the bomb, causing silence to reign in the courtroom before he raised his face up. "M-MADE IT-!" he declared, two seconds left on the timer.

The group watched as Ted wiped his jaw as his eyes crackled and sparked…and then exploded, causing him to fall to the ground.

Double D calmly walked over to the stand as the bomb turned back on and counted down to zero.

...GAME...OVER...

...DISMANTLE ATTEMPT...FAILED...

"Game over indeed, Mr Tonate." Double D said as he looked down at Ted Tonate. "Game over indeed."

"And thanks to David, I think we got a reason for why he committed the crime. It turns out this offer of the law wasn't as honorable as we thought." Glimmer said, looking at a text from said boy on her phone. "The truth is, he actually sells all the bombs he disarms on the black market. But Arme caught him in the act and he had to act. That's how all this unfolded."

"In that case, Ted Tonate will be arrested on the charges and suspicions of causing the bombing." the Judge said. "As for the trial of Miss Juniper Woods. I find the defendant…"

Not Guilty

December 18, 12:31 PM

District Court - Defendant Lobby No. 5

"Ohohohoho, baby! That was the greatest trial I've ever had the pleasure of sitting in!" DW typed.

"Hard to believe all this happened cause of another mishap with time travel." Jexi said.

"I kept saying that machine is picky. I really have been trying to fix it." Tails said.

"Well…that aside…this courtroom drama…can't get enough." Frosta said.

"Not even the one…where someone was murdered by a fierce Yokai?" Sunset asked.

"Yeah, that was a strange one." 9S said.

"You think that was strange? One of our clients was a whale!" Vashyron said.

"Yeah…though…there's still one thing that bothers me. Whatever happened to the remote detonator?" Linhardt said.

The group also pondered this. Could Tonate have set off the bomb…or was there another force in play?
