Krul glared hatefully at the bastard vampire before her. She wanted nothing more than to kill him where he stood, especially since he had Mika by the neck.

"Let go of Mika now, Ferid," growled out the pink-haired vampire queen.

"Oh? And what will you do if I don't," replied Ferid, glancing at the struggling and gasping boy in his grasp with a smirk. He then looked back at Krul. "Did you really think I wouldn't figure out what you and this boy were planning?"

A growl escaped from Krul's throat. "If you don't put him down right now, I will kill you, Ferid."

Her anger only grew when he let out a chuckle. "It's amusing how you think you could kill me. If that were the case, you wouldn't need that one boy's help."

"Y-You l-leave Yu a-alone!" gasped out Mika, grabbing hold of Ferid's wrist to try and pry the vampire's hand off of him. He then let out a gurgle when Ferid's hold tightened.

"Don't give orders, boy. Learn where you stand," stated Ferid, his tone promising death if he was not listened to.

"Let him go!" yelled out Krul as she charged forward to attack.

It was all for naught though, as she was backhanded away by Ferid's free hand. He then tossed Mika over to her, the blond landing on top of her in the process.

"Seeing as you care so much for this boy, take him," said Ferid, his smirk returning. "I'll even let you continue your search for that Yu boy."

Pushing herself off the ground and making sure Mika was alright, she gave her enemy a narrowed look. "Why?"

The laugh he gave filled her with disgust.

"It's simple, even if you do find that boy, it won't matter. I will still win in the end. But I suppose I should wish you some luck. After all, your attempts at victory are entertaining."

Krul let out a feral yell as she once more tried to attack Ferid, but instead of fighting back, he merely escaped. With Ferid gone, she hurried back to Mika's side.

"Y-Yu…"

"Don't worry, Mika. We'll find him," she reassured him.

They just had to find Yu or Ferid would win.

Unfortunately I still haven't really read this series yet. All I really know about these characters is that Krul does eventually side with Yu and that Mika is still VERY obsessed with Yu. Hell, I don't even know if Ferid is supposed to be the main antagonist or someone else took that role.
