This story will be a tribute to Hugh Jackman, who celebrates his 54th birthday today. The story will be loosely based on Wolverine Vol 4 Issue 5.1 "Happy", where Wolverine celebrates his birthday with Melita Garner planning out the party by inviting his Avengers and X-Men teammates, and in this AU, the X-Men, the Avengers, the Defenders and the Fantastic Four all co-exist in the same universe. The story will take place sometime after X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, New York
The day of Logan's birthday had finally arrived. Logan couldn't recall the last time he celebrated his own birthday, as his life had been ravaged by war and violence to the point where he couldn't bother celebrating such a day, nor care about it. Logan decided to get some fresh air, while his lover, Kayla Silverfox, decided to plan out his birthday party. Having anticipated this event, Kayla decided to plan out a surprise birthday party for her lover and wanted to invite many of his superhero friends. Throughout their time together, Kayla knew Logan was much older than he looked and usually celebrated intimate birthdays with him, as she was aware that Logan wasn't the kind of person who liked huge birthday parties. However, on this very special day, Kayla was determined to make the happiest day in his life and wanted to make a bigger party for him.
At the school, Kayla invited some of Logan's friends, such as Steve Rogers, Tony Stark, Ben Grimm and Luke Cage, and decorated the kitchen with birthday decorations, including one that had the title "Happy Birthday Logan". She also had bought a birthday cake for him, which she left as a surprise.
Ben Grimm, aka the Thing, was drinking the juice, when Kayla approached him. "Hey, nice party."
Kayla nodded. "Thanks."
"So, when's the knucklehead gonna show up?" Grimm inquired.
"He should be in any minute now." Kayla told Ben. "I just hope this will be a very great party."
"Yeah, let's hope he doesn't get freaked out." Ben muttered.
Kayla nodded before she heard the ring bell, sensing someone had also arrived at the doorstep. "I think someone's at the door. I'll be right back."
Kayla then headed for the door and opened it to reveal Matt Murdock and his girlfriend, Elektra Natchios, who were dressed up nicely for the event.
"Is this birthday place?" Matt asked.
"Hey, come in. You must be Matt Murdock." Kayla greeted Matt before she turned her attention to Elektra. "And she is?"
"Oh, this is my date, Elektra. I invited her personally, though she isn't the kind of person who goes to special events." Matt introduced Elektra to Kayla, before the two women shook hands.
"Lovely to meet you." Elektra told Kayla as she stopped shaking Kayla's hand. "So, this is the party you told me about, Matthew?"
"Yeah." Matt assured Elektra and turned his attention to Kayla. "Nice party by the way, um..."
"Kayla." Kayla introduced herself to Matt before he nodded and Kayla turned her attention to Elektra. "Let me take your coat."
Elektra removed her coat and give it to Kayla, who she placed it on the hanger as Elektra moved around the mansion, where she and Matt noticed that Kayla prepared everything for her lover's birthday party.
"Steaks, beer and a jukebox full of 70s music." Matt looked around the mansion. "I'll give her that, she knows her man very well."
"I must say, she seems to be a very pleasant woman. I honestly never expected her to be very devoted to her lover." Elektra complimented.
Matt then turned around and heard Luke Cage's voice. "Sweet Christmas!" Matt and Luke then greeted each other and shared an embrace.
"So, what brings you here?" Luke asked.
"Well, Elektra and received invitations to Logan's birthday party and it said it's in this mansion." Matt told Luke.
"No kidding! Jessica and I got invitations for the party too." Luke inquired, surprised to hear his friend received invitations for the party as well. "I'll tell you what, I'll give you ten bucks if he doesn't show up."
"Come on, Luke, don't put bets already." Matt calmly told Luke.
"Or, when he does show up and we all scream "Surprise!", he's gonna flip out and accidentally stab someone." Luke continued with his bet, before his girlfriend, Jessica Jones, approached him.
"Luke, please, this isn't the perfect time for bets." Jessica pleaded Luke.
"I'm just saying. Remember who we're talking about." Luke inquired.
"Well, if you think tonight is going to be a disaster, then why did you want to come in the first place?" Jessica quipped.
"Are you kidding?" Luke told Jessica in a flirting manner. "You know I wouldn't miss this for the world. Just for you."
Luke and Jessica were about to kiss before all the guests turned their attention to Kayla, who had a big announcement to tell them.
"Um, excuse me, can I have everyone's attention, please?" Kayla announced to the guest in the room. "First off, I just want to thank everyone here for coming. This is going to mean a lot to Logan that all of you are here. This means a lot to me too, since I'm meeting most of you for the first time."
"No problem, Kayla." Tony told Kayla. "Logan had told me about you. You are a very lucky woman."
"Tony!" Pepper Potts, one of the guests, hissed as she pinched Tony's shoulder.
"Ouch! Sorry." Tony apologized.
"Okay..." Kayla was bewildered by Tony's flirtatious behavior before continuing with her announcement. "Anyway, I have worked so hard on this party today and I wanted it to be a very memorable evening for Logan, even though he doesn't like celebrating it that much. He should be here any minute now, so here's what we're going to do; when Logan walks in, we're going to jump and yell surprise."
"Does she know that we're dealing with someone who has super-senses and knows that we're a mile away?" Luke hissed.
Jessica giggled. "You tell her that and I'll kill you."
Suddenly, Kayla and the guest began hearing voices from outside the mansion. It sounded like someone was playing music in the background.
"X gon' give it to ya (what)
Fuck waiting for you to get it on your own, X gon' deliver to ya (uh)
Knock knock, open up the door, it's real
With the non-stop, pop-pop of stainless steel
Go hard, getting busy wit it
But I got such a good heart
That I'll make the motherfucker wonder if he did it."
"Who's playing that song?" Tony asked.
"I have no idea." Steve said.
Then, a man with a black and red suit with two katanas on his back and holding a radio on his arm burst the door open and entered the room, dancing hysterically to the music. This man was no other than Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool.
"So, who invited Deadpool?" Scott Summers asked.
"Nobody actually. He just showed himself." Steve said.
"I have a very bad feeling about this." Thor inquired, sensing that something terrible might happen.
Shortly after arriving at the mansion, Deadpool turned off the radio and announced in excitement. "Hello, ladies and gentlemen, Deadpool is in the house!"
Kayla then approached Deadpool. "Um, what are you doing here?"
"Well, well, well. If it isn't the lovely Lynn Collins, it is such an honor to meet you." Deadpool flirted as he took her hand and kissed it, before Kayla turned her hand away in disgust.
"I don't what you're up to, but I think you should leave now." Kayla warned Wade.
"And miss the whole party? No way! I didn't come down here just to get rejected! If today is my best friend Hugh's birthday, it's gonna be epic!" Wade announced before he decided to pull out the microphone and stood around the table. "All right, motherfuckers, time to turn this motherfucking house down!"
Deadpool then turned on the radio again and it played another song, this time it was "I Love Rock 'n' Roll" by Joan Jett the Blackhearts, with Deadpool doing karaoke with the song.
"I love rock n' roll
So put another dime in the jukebox, baby
I love rock n' roll
So come and take your time and dance with me"
Meanwhile, everyone else was confused by Deadpool's sudden appearance, making what he would call "Pikachu faces".
"Is he gonna go on with this?" Scott asked.
"Not sure if he will." Jean told Scott.
"I don't think Deadpool looks okay." Luke said.
"You betcha." Ben agreed.
"Let's hope he doesn't ruin the party when Logan shows up." Clint said. "He's gonna be really mad."
Almost a few hours later, Logan returned from his stroll and headed back to the mansion, where he noticed that it was quiet. How strange. Logan never expected so much quietness in the mansion, as he expected the mansion to full of students running around the school.
"Hello? is anyone there?" Logan said as he wandered around the mansion.
As Logan continued walking around the mansion, he noticed that Professor Xavier, Kayla and his friends were also not around. He wasn't ready for what was about to happen.
"Professor? Kayla?" Logan yelled, but no one heard him. "Hello?"
Logan was bewildered by the fact no one had heard his screams. Just a few hours ago, the Professor, Kayla and everyone else was present in the mansion just when he left to take a stroll. To think that his friends disappeared, Logan was scared that something might have happened to them. Then, he sniffed something. He sensed where the smell was coming from; the kitchen. Using his heightened senses, Logan tracked down the scent and reached for the kitchen.
Upon arriving at the kitchen, Logan opened the door and began checking the kitchen, where he thought that his friends. Suddenly...
"SURPRISE!"
Logan was caught off-guard by the sounds of the birthday whistles and the loud sound of the people surprising him and turned around to see many of his friends, including his X-Men and Avengers teammates, the Fantastic Four and the Defenders, as well as the Professor and Kayla, all greeting him for his birthday party and saw the decorations behind the wall.
"What's going on?" Logan was confused by his surroundings.
"Logan, it's your birthday." Kayla told Logan.
"Wait, that's not possible." Logan said confusingly. "I thought you guys..."
"We wanted to make this the biggest birthday party you've ever had, because you never had a party like this before. I had sent out invitations to everyone who knows you." Kayla explained.
"She has done a very wonderful job with the decorations as well." Xavier told Logan.
Logan was a bit shocked by the reception of his friends, as he usually never cared about his birthday. To see them planning out the party brought joy to his heart, but he couldn't know how to express his gratitude.
"Logan, are you okay?" Kayla asked in concern.
Logan then turned back to reality and swallowed before he looked at her again. "Yeah. I'm fine. It's just... I can't thank you enough. All of you."
"I just hope you're not mad at me." Kayla told Logan.
"No, I'm not." Logan assured Kayla.
"In that case..." Kayla teased before she leaned in and kissed Logan passionately, before they turned away and gazed at each other. "Okay. Time to give you the cake."
Kayla then went to show Logan's birthday cake, which she chose in chocolate. However, just as she took the cake, she noticed that half of the cake was missing. "What the hell?"
Logan then reached out and saw that the cake that Kayla was going to give him was eaten in half and realized who was responsible. Wade swallowed his throat in nervousness.
"I'm so sorry, Hugh. It was so delicious!" Wade nervously told Logan.
Logan stretched his fists, preparing to teach Logan. "I'm gonna enjoy kicking your ass."
"Time to go now, bye bye!" Wade panicked quickly as Logan chased him throughout the mansion.
Kayla, the Professor and all of the guests all saw Logan chasing down a scared Wade throughout the mansion and found the situation very amusing. Though this wasn't according to her plan, Kayla knew that his birthday was getting a lot more exciting.
"Wow, didn't expect the party to get better." Ben said.
"I agree." Matt said dryly. "Looks like Deadpool made the party more epic."
Avengers Tower, New York
Meanwhile, at the Avengers Tower, Peter Parker arrived in his Spider-Man suit, expecting to see the Avengers inside the mansion. Little did he know that they all went to Logan's birthday at Xavier's mansion.
"Guys? anyone there?" Peter asked as he wandered around the tower before realizing his teammates weren't around and lowered his head in disappointment. "Damn..."
And that's the end of the story. While it's not the best story I've written, I wanted to make a tribute to Hugh Jackaman for his birthday. And you what's the best part? Hugh is finally making his MCU debut with Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool 3! This is very exciting, although I'm concerned as to how they will handle it without ruining the ending of Logan. Still, the story was pretty fun to write.
As for some of the characters, the Thing is obviously played by Michael Chiklis and Spider-Man is played by Tom Holland.
