Chapter 1: Inu is in trouble.
Horimi Ramao stared at his class of first year academy students in blank horror. To anyone other academy instructor it would have seemed like a completely normal class.
A few clan kids here and there, sprinkled amongst the civilian children. They added a little spice to his class, but that was nothing he couldn't handle
There was an unconditionally energetic female Nara sitting in the back, talking sleepily with the class's obligatory InoShikaCho. The girl no doubt already knew most of what Romao was supposed to teach her, and what she didn't would be taught to her by her family. All he needed to do was provide Nara with advanced materials and she would be happy.
The two identical uchiha in the back, twins no doubt, had a nice dicottemy. The older of the two was especially arrogant, even for an uchiha, but the younger girl seemed perfectly capable of reigning in her older sister.
The Aburame and the Inuzuka were arguing quietly off to the left, but that was certainly nothing new. Those two clans were like siblings, always arguing, but deep down they cared very much about one another.
No, what terrified Ramao most was the Kyuubi container sitting in the front row, Of course the fact that the girl was a jinchuriki didn't bother Ramao, he was a shinobi after all, prejudice was for civilians.
No good shinobi gave a damn about the color of your skin, or what was in between your legs. Those that did were dead, prejudice was a weakness on the battlefield, and if you underestimated a Kunoichi she was likely to put a Kunai through your genitals.
Likewise, if you were an ass to jinchuriki, there were consequences. At best you'd eventually realize that you'd been fucking with someone who could hand A-rank shinobi thier ass on a silver platter. You could also get in really big trouble with your villages' kage, who were always connected to the containers in some way. In the worst case scenario, the jinchuriki snaps on you and you die a gruesome and bloody death.
At worst the kid was a primed explosive tag, but Naruto seemed stable enough, so most shinobi merely treated the girl with polite disinterest.
Setting aside how unnerving it was to have a 3 year old jinchuriki in the academy, what worried Horimi Ramao most about Uzumaki Naruto was her appearance.
The girl had crimson red hair, which was just long enough to be tied back into a ponytail. Violet eyes sparkled with a startling amount of intelligence. And the girls face was horrifyingly familiar.
God, no. They had a child.
Ramao had been the chunin instructor for Kushina Uzumaki and Minato Namikaze's class 20 years ago. He recognized their progeny the moment the girl walked into the classroom. The two greatest troublemakers in the history of the Academy had bred.
Kushina had always been getting into fights, granted she never started them, but it didn't change the fact that she kept beating up her classmates.
Minato had been even worse. The brat had been absolutely bored out of his mind for the 4 years he had been at the academy. The Future Yondime had decided to alleviate some boredom by pranking as many people as he could. Little bastard had been more busy dodging ANBU than participating in class.
Why me Kami-sama? Why? Romao walked from the room into the teachers lounge where he sobbed silently for a minute. After he was done mourning his sanity Romao reentered the classroom and addressed his students.
"My name is Hiromi Ramao and I will be your Chunin instructor." Hiromi introduced himself.
"Hello Hiromi-sensei." His class chorused.
"Why don't we begin with introducing ourselves?" Hiromi suggested. He pointed hesitantly at Naruto, who had moved to the far left corner of the classroom.
"Would you like to start?" The 40 year old man just knew he was going to regret this.
Naruto smiled brightly, and stood up. "My name is Uzumaki Naruto, and I'm going to be hokage dattebane!"
Oh god.
————
"Hey Jiji!" Naruto chirped, climbing in through the window of the Hokage Tower.
Hiruzen Sarutobi blinked as Naruto crashed into him. How had she gotten up there?
"Naruto, I'm in the middle of an important meeting." Hiruzen explained gently, peeling the Uzumaki/limpet off of him and sending his guest an apologetic look.
Naruto, remembering her manners, turned to the Uchiha clan head and bowed. "Hey mister Policeman!"
Hiruzen's expression became strained and he put Naruto down. "Why don't you go wait for me outside. We were almost done here anyways, I'll be out in a few minutes."
Naruto made a strange sound and skipped out the door. When it closed with a click, Hiruzen turned back to the Uchiha patriarch, who was scowling.
"Kushina and Minato were my friends, they were everyone's." Fugaku began. "Every single one of the clans would have taken her in."
Hiruzen frowned. "You know I couldn't allow that, allowing the clans access to the Jinchuriki would have not ended well."
"That's an excuse." Fugaku rebuked. "Nothing would have come of it, and the clans would have been happy to know the girl was safe."
The Uchiha Clan Head was a little heated. Minato had been his best friend and rival, he would have treated Naruto like a daughter, all of them would have.
"What do you want me to do Fugaku?" Hiruzen
snapped, "If I put her with anyone, she'd be dead the first time she left the village, or worse kidnapped. Kumo's already tried it with her once, in the middle of the village no less. It's either this or I put her through ANBU."
Fugaku glared at the Hokage, careful not to activate his sharingan. Eventually he backed down.
Hiruzen sighed. It was bad enough that he'd had to tell kumo that Naruto was a jinchuriki so they wouldn't go to war. If the other nations found out her heritage, they would literally do anything to dispose of her, in one way or another.
"Look, I know the arrangement Mikoto and Kushina made a while back." Hiruzen sighed. "I can probably arrange for your youngest to meet her in the academy, so you can take care of Naruto without issue."
Fugaku nodded slowly. "And what I said, about Danzo?"
Hiruzen scoffed. "Please, the man's all bark and no bite ever since I stuck him with Naruto for an afternoon." He stood, and walked with Fugaku to the door.
When they walked into the lobby, Hiruzen had to do a double take. Fugaku watched in horror as 15 mini-Kushina's ran around the room causing mayhem.
When one of the clones spotted the two men in the lobby, it disappeared in a puff of smoke, followed shortly by the rest of its brethren.
Naruto tried to dash over to the Hokage but instead tripped over her feet and smashed full force into Fugaku. Hiruzen picked up Naruto and sat her on his shoulders.
"Hey Naruto!" The Hokage laughed, going from God of Shinobi to grandfather in a second. "What was that?"
"Something Hiromi-sensei taught me." The girl said excitedly. "After class he was all like. Here's a special jutsu just for you."
Hiruzen blinked. He'd thought that maybe one of the ANBU had decided to teach her something. Maybe Inu would have to take another week off as a punishment. But apparently one of the academy teachers had handed out a B-rank kinjutsu to a 4 year old.
"You're in the academy?" Fugaku asked, clearly annoyed. After all, now he couldn't use that as a way for his family to get close to Minato's daughter.
"Yep!" Naruto said. "Inu said it would be a good way for me to be Hokage."
The little shit. Inu was going to be off duty for a month for this Hiruzen vowed silently.
Fugaku's eye twitched. He'd never liked the Hatake brat.
Hiruzen took a drag from his pipe. Blowing up smoke rings that began to orbit the re-head and change color. He signed to his ANBU. Bring me Naruto's teacher, and Inu. One of his shadows disappeared.
"Good day Fugaku-dono, I'll see you at the next meeting." Hiruzen walked back up to his office with Naruto, who was trying to sway the smoke rings.
Fugaku sighed, Mikoto was not going to be happy.
————
"Let's start off with what I find most pressing." Hiruzen announced giving Hiromi Ramao a stern look. Naruto had been taken back to her apartment by one of his ANBU, so that they could speak freely.
"Why did you think it was a good Idea to teach Naruto the shadow clone jutsu?"
Hiromi gulped nervously. Well you see Hokage-sama. Naruto is a frighteningly familiar person."
"Oh?" Hiruzen raised an eyebrow.
"She's like a mini Kushina-chan with Minato-kun's face."
Hiruzen looked confused. What was this man's relationship with those two.
"I remember how much trouble they made back in the academy." Hiromi whined. "Minato-kun pulling pranks left and right because class was to easy. Kushina beating up bullies left and right."
"Ah." Hiruzen said in understanding, the man had been horribly traumatized by the terrible two, that explained it."
"Since Kushina had trouble with the bunshin. I thought it would be best to give the girl the jutsu, so she's be able to get out of the academy as fast as possible. I just don't want a bored min Kushina-chan running around pulling pranks and beating up my students Hokage-sama."
Hiruzen nodded sympathetically. Ino smiled unde his mask. "Alright then Hiromi-san you may leave."
The man rose and went for the door as quick as he could without being rude. Once Romao was in the hall he just ran.
Hiruzen turned to Inu, who despite the mask was the picture of innocence.
"Take off your mask and cut the crap Kakashi, you're on leave for a month."
Kakashi sighed, and removed the porcelain dog mask. Necessary sacrifices.
"Really Kakashi?"The Hokage sighed. "It's bad enough that the ANBU guards I assigned to Naruto have been teaching her about chakra since she learned how to walk. Did you have to throw her into the academy as well?"
"To be honest Hokage-sama the faster she gets through it, the more I can train her for what's out there." Kakashi pointed out.
"You just want to spend time with her. " Hiruzen accused.
"Well Hokage-sama you can't be the only one allowed to interwar with her. After all it wouldn't be fair, ne?" Kakashi eye smiled
Cheeky Brat.

Fugaku was sleeping on the couch. Mikoto was definitely not happy.
