I finished TVD finally and I'd rather not go into how furious the ending made me.
So this is a small fix-it.
And Hell here isn't created by Cade, rather Cade managed to create his own domain in Hell, when he burned, hope it makes sense. Hell had always been there.
Disclaimer: I do not own Supernatural or The Vampire Diaries.
Arcadius, better known as Cade, was in his Hell dimension rejoicing in the fire and waiting for more condemned and wicked souls to enter his domain, when he felt a foreign presence in his realm and next thing Cade knew, the flames around him were extinguished and the souls he had been tormenting and burning were suddenly vanishing, when in front of him appeared a middle aged man with a beard in a black suit.
"Hello, Arcadius. I've been waiting a very long time for this. The name is Crowley. You might have heard of me." Crowley introduced himself.
Cade scowled as he looked unamused and infuriated at the insolence. "The so-called King of Hell."
"The King of Hell. The Jefe." Crowley said as he got up. "You think you created Hell? More like you built your own castle. And I just tore down the walls. Consider this a hostile takeover. Mystic Falls may have been yours but now it's time for aggressive expansion."
"We agreed that souls in the area where my branch of supernatural exists would be mine. You think you can double-cross me?" Cade sneered, glaring. "Me? I first experienced and learned to double-cross."
Cade reached out and tried to burn Crowley but Crowley just chuckled and snapped his fingers and next thing Cade knew, he was in what seemed like a mix of a throne room with a dungeon with shackles on the walls around him and Crowley sat on the throne in front of Cade, when Cade looked around to see other people who had pitch black eyes and it was nothing like Cade had ever seen before.
Demons.
"You should know one thing about me. And that is I'm always one step ahead. You have no power here, Moose. This is my domain." Crowley said as the demons laughed. "You know, I've heard you've been using some poor vampire sods to collect souls and rob me of my income and I cannot have that, Moose."
"What do you want from me?" Cade asked, unnerved by his powerlessness though he was unintimidated, for now. "You think I'm afraid to burn? Pain is nothing new to me."
"Perhaps. But there are always new ways to make someone suffer." Crowley said.
That was when Cade heard grunting and muffled shouting as the demons dragged in Katherine Pierce who was in shackles and had a gag around her mouth.
"And here is the devious bitch." Crowley said.
Katherine managed to get the gag off as she glared and spat at the floor in front of Crowley. "Screw you."
"Ah, there's the sassiness I like. Though Ruby and Meg can give you a run for your money, pumpkin. You really thought you could take over Hell and play Cade and double-cross me? Me?" Crowley taunted. "I perfected the double-cross. Like, literally."
Crowley then raised his fingers, revealing four rings as Cade's and Katherine's eyes widened.
The rings of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, which also serve as the keys to the Cage.
"Crowley—" Katherine began, when Crowley began chanting.
"Bvtmon tabges babalon." Crowley said in Enochian.
Suddenly, Cade and Katherine burst in flames. Cade merely grunted, being used to the fire but Katherine screamed as the fire engulfed her until the heat consumed them both and leaving two scorched spots on the floor where they had been a moment ago before the ground beneath their feet opened and the gravity of the crack in the floor instantly sucked them in before it closed.
"Have fun with your new roommates." Crowley smirked.
Cade and Katherine looked around, noticing the hellfire around them behind the bars of the cage, when they heard maniacal laughter and turned to see a blonde man with the pupils of his eyes glowing crimson red.
"Oh… you're not Sammy… but you will do."
Cade and Katherine felt shivers down their spines as they looked into the man's eyes, realizing who it was.
"And they believe you're the Devil? What a mockery to my name." The man said, eying Cade, unimpressed. Cade tried to use his power as he reached with his hand but nothing happened.
"Lucifer…" Katherine whispered, realizing who it was.
"It's always nice to be recognized. And always happy to have roomies. Settle in." Lucifer said as he began laughing maniacally and Cade and Katherine began trembling in fear as the feeling of powerlessness settled in, feeling that Katherine had not felt since dying various times or Cade since his first death.
Suddenly, Katherine and Cade burst in flames as they screamed in excruciating agony and even though they felt their skin burn and the flesh being torn and crumbling into ashes, nothing seemed to stop the pain inching into every part of their being.
Honestly, Cade was just cheap Crowley, who is a great villain later turned antihero in Supernatural, when he took over Hell after Lucifer was put back in The Cage and what is great about Crowley is his cunning wits, if he can't beat someone in power, he makes up for it with devious plans, given how he often is able to play the characters who are more powerful than him or that Crowley knows he can't beat in direct confrontation and Crowley would surely be pissed that someone is trying to steal his spotlight as King of Hell, considering that Lucifer literally made Crowley his dog or how Abaddon wiped the floor with him and Crowley himself outwitted Dean, Sam and the angels and the Devil himself and other protagonists and antagonists and played them more than once, either having them play into his hands or outsmarting them, while surviving whenever they had him in their sights.
And while TVD Season 8 for its final season was somewhat decent and tried to be a good send-off to the show, Katherine just overstayed her welcome and they should've gotten rid of her in Season 5, even though Nina Dobrev, as always, nailed it in the role but Damon, no, he doesn't get to have that happy ending after his constant regressions and Stefan dying after he and Caroline had just gotten married was just so infuriating and Stefan/Caroline was done so dirty and Stefan is always the one who gives up and sacrifices so much of his happiness for Damon and Elena, when most of the time it's not worth it, given Damon's regressions and how terrible Elena is.
Please review and let me know if you have enjoyed this one-shot.
