"Where am I? How did I get here? What is this place?"

The questions escaped from Ryuuji as he let them out in his soft tone. The tall blue-haired boy gazed all around him with wonder His thug-like eyes were wide as he took in his surroundings.

He was standing in the middle of a field. It was filled with bright colourful flowers. They danced and wavered in the light breeze which was passing through. Some of their petals flew off to float through the air, passing over the teenage boy's head. Ryuuji gaped in amazement, taking in the atmospheric scene he was in with the held of the golden sunshine in the blue sky.

"This sure is a nice place…" he murmured - unaware he was about to see something even nicer.

"HEY, TAKASU!"

Ryuuji froze, his heart racing upon hearing a familiar cheerful voice call out to him. It was one he recognised all too well. Hardly daring to believe it, he slowly turned in the direction it had come from - before letting off a gasp upon discovering he was not alone in this mysterious location he was inexplicably at.

Standing a few meters away from the boy, her red-hair clashing with the colours of the flowers and a bright happy smile on her pretty face, was Minori.

"KUSHIEDA!"

Ryuuji couldn't help himself as the name of the girl he really liked escaped him. His face lit up at the beautiful sight of her. No matter how he had ended up in this field, he was glad it had happened upon seeing that he was all alone here - with the very person he had feelings for.

"Takasu!"

Minori shouted the boy's same again before starting to spring towards him. Her feet kicked up several petals into the air as she ran among the flowers. She was heading straight towards Ryuuji, her arms stretched out towards him.

"Kushieda!"

Unable to help himself, Ryuuji began to dart towards the red-head. He could not avert his amazed gaze from her as he ran in her direction. His heart picked up speed as he came closer to her, able to see on her face just how delighted she was to see him.

"Takasu!"

"Kushieda!"

It didn't take long for the two teenagers to reach each other. The moment they collided, they threw their arms around one another. Ryuuji lifted Minori up from her feet. He brought several giggles out of her as he spun her around before falling onto his back. The pair rolled among the flowers, sending several petals up into the air to fluttered down onto them.

Ryuuji stopped rolling, finding himself gazing up at Minori as he lay on the ground. The girl was on top of the boy, her eyes twinkling as they locked with his. Only she could see the beautiful soul his had behind that thug-like face. The flowers petals came down to settle themselves into her red hair.

"Takasu…"

"Kushieda…"

Takasu could see that Minori couldn't wipe the adoringly smile that was on her face. She sent it straight towards him as she raised her hand - before suddenly yelling at him in a completely different manner.

"RYUUJIIIIII!"

Ryuuji jumped. The way Minori had a rioted shouted his name didn't belong to her - yet it was a voice he easily recognised. Before he could say anything, the girl stuck out two of her fingers on the hand she had raised, using them both to poke the boy hard in his eyes.

"OW!"

Ryuuji squeezed his eyes shut. He winced from the pain that had been delivered to them. He groaned before opening them up again - before they widened over what he saw.

No longer was he laying in a flowery field, looking up at the smiling face of Minori Kushieda.

He was instead laying in his bed, peering up at the grumpy face of Taiga Asaka.

"Oh, Taigi!" Ryuuji forced a smile at the shorty girl. "Good morning!"

"Never mind good morning, ya dumb dog!" Taiga snapped. "Get up and make me my breakfast! You've way overslept!"

Ryuuji sighed and wearily rubbed his eyes - which Taiga had poked to wake him up. He wished he could have overslept for a little longer so as to enjoy the slumber-fuelled fantasy he was having about Minori.

"I was having such a good dream," he moaned.

"Well sleep time is over! Breakfast time is here! So get your ass outta that bed and into the kitchen to start cooking!"

As Taiga stormed out of the room, Ruuuji sat up in his bed. He wished he could have stayed in that fantasy flowery field inside his head with the girl he liked. Trust the Palmtop Tiger to wake him up from such a nice dream.

"Well, at least Taiga didn't show up in my dream at all," Ryuuji muttered as he flung the duvet off of himself, preparing to head into the kitchen. "If she had, then my sweet dream would have turned into a terrifying nightmare…"

The end.
