Chapter Three
Welcome To The Lone Star State
It was early the next morning when the pilots voice came over the speaker. "Attention folks, this is your captain speaking. We're about to begin our decent into Dallas Texas, please fasten your seatbelts and put your trays in the full upright and locked positions. Thank you for flying air Japan today and we hope you all had a pleasant flight." The pilot informed as he began descending towards the runway.
"Oh my god, we're here! We're here! We're here!" Sarah yelled with joy as she fastened her seatbelt.
"Wow! That's a big city down there, I can't wait to check it out." Kaede said with a smile as she stared out her window.
"It'll be a bit before ya see the city darling, I live on the outskirts of it towards the farm country. Ain't nobody around fer miles." Sarah informed with a smile as she put her hand over Kaede's.
"That's fine with me, I need a day to unwind after the flight anyways." Kaede replied as she interlaced her fingers with Sarah's.
"I can't believe we're finally here Usagi, I wanna see the horses!" Chibiusa yelled with excitement as she looked at Usagi.
"I know you do Chibiusa, but let's get settled in and everything before we ask Sarah if we can go horseback riding." Usagi replied with a chuckle as she looked at Naru.
"What?" Naru asked as she looked back at Usagi.
"Nothing, it's just the way the light's hitting your face right now. It makes you look even more beautiful than usual." Usagi said with a smile as she stared at Naru.
"Oh. Um, thanks Usagi." Naru replied in a nervous tone as she lightly brushed some hair off her face.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable Naru." Usagi quietly apologized as she looked down at her lap.
"I'm not uncomfortable Usagi, that made me really happy. You just caught me off guard as all, but thank you. That made me feel really good Usagi." Naru informed as she gently patted Usagi's head.
"Really?" Usagi asked with a small smile.
"I'd never lie to you Usagi, you mean too much to me to hurt you like that." Naru replied as she held her hand out to Usagi.
"Thank you Naru." Usagi quietly thanked as she took Naru's hand and gently squeezed it.
"Oh my god! Rei! Rei wake up we're here!" Minako yelled as she shook Rei.
"Wha-What?! What's going on?! Are we still in the air?" Rei asked as she snapped awake.
"Not for long, we're about to land Rei!" Minako yelled as she shook Rei with excitement.
"Stop shaking me or I'm gonna hurl on you Mina." Rei grumbled as she stretched her neck a little bit.
"Sorry, I'm just so excited! I can't wait to see Sarah's home." Minako replied with a huge smile.
"Mako. Mako." Ami whispered as she gently poked Mako a few times.
"What? Where am I?" Mako quietly asked as she slowly opened her eyes.
"The plane's about to land Mako." Ami quietly said with a smile.
"Already? That wasn't so bad. If I didn't know any better I'd say I was out cold the whole flight." Mako replied with a chuckle.
"Yeah, imagine that." Ami replied with a nervous chuckle.
"Now you two stay close to me okay, I don't want either of you getting lost." Ikuko instructed as she looked at Shingo and Chibiusa.
"Okay." Shingo and Chibiusa both replied with smiles.
"The plane's officially stopped. Let's grab our luggage and get off." Kenji said as he stood up and opened his over head bin. Everyone else nodded in agreement and proceeded to grab their luggage.
"I can't wait to meet your family Sarah, and I really can't wait to check out your town!" Kaede yelled as she grabbed her bag and turned around, bumping into another passenger as she did. "I'm so sorry sir, I didn't see you there." Kaede apologized as she bowed to the man.
"First time in Texas?" The man asked with a smile.
"Yes sir." Kaede replied as she continued to bow to the man.
"Piece of advice young lady, stand up. We prefer to look each other in the eye in the states, especially when apologizing." The man instructed with a smile.
"Sorry sir." Kaede replied as she stood up and looked at the man. He was an older gentleman, maybe about sixty. He had short white hair and a very confident complexion.
"No worries young lady, I know you do things differently in Japan." The man replied with a smile.
"Sorry to interrupt boss, but the local Leo's are waiting to talk with us." A second man informed as he walked by the first.
"Let's not keep 'em waiting I guess. Nice to meet you Ms..." The man paused as he stared at Kaede.
"Kaede." Kaede said as she held her hand out to the man.
"Gibbs." The man replied as he shook Kaede's hand. "Enjoy Texas Kaede." The man said with a smile as he grabbed his bag and left.
"What's a local Leo?" Minako asked as she grabbed her luggage.
"No idea, I ain't ever heard that term before. It don't matter anyhow, we probably ain't gonna see them gentlemen again any hows." Sarah said with a shrug as she started leading everyone off the plane. "Now I have no idea how we're all gonna get home, because I didn't tell ma and pa that I was gonna be home so soon." Sarah informed with a straight face as she lead everyone to the baggage claim.
"Why didn't you tell your parents you were coming home?" Saeko asked with a confused look.
"I wanted ta surprise 'em." Sarah answered as she continued leading everyone towards the claim area.
"Hey, what're them there cats doing in the middle of the airport?" A man asked as he watched Luna, Artemis, and Diana get off the plane.
"They're with us, they're uh, support animals. They help my friend with her phobia of flying." Sarah lied.
"Ya got papers fer them cats?" The man asked as he looked at Luna, Artemis, and Diana.
"Well uh, I think I..." Sarah started saying, until Ami interrupted her.
"Right here." Ami answered as she pulled a sheet of paper out of her pocket. "You should be more careful with this Sarah, this is a very important piece of paper." Ami said with a wink as she gave the paper to Sarah.
"Well alright, y'all have a good day now." The man replied as he walked away.
"Two questions. One, was that guy not an airport employee, and two, where did you get those papers Ami?" Mako asked as she looked at Ami.
"One, no, he was just a nosy jerk, and two, they aren't real. It's just something I never threw away, it's actually an exam study guide." Ami answered with a chuckle.
"Only my daughter would just have a random study guide in her pocket." Saeko said with a chuckle.
"Enough chit chat everyone, let's grab our bags and find a ride to Sarah's." Usagi instructed as she took Naru's hand in one of hers and Chibiusa's in the other.
"Yes princess." The others replied as they quickly started following Usagi.
"I will never get use to seeing Usagi take charge like that." Ikuko said to herself as she started following Usagi.
"I'll never get use to seeing everyone just follow her like that. I never pictured my sister as the commanding or leading type." Shingo said as he walked alongside Ikuko and Kenji.
"Yep, your sister's really grown up." Kenji said with a smile as he watched Usagi lead all of them towards the baggage claim.
"Now we just have to find our bags." Usagi said with a smile as she and everyone else stood around a large oval conveyor belt with bags going around it.
"Well I don't know about all of you, but I made my bag unmissable." Naru said with a smile as she watched all the bags going past her.
"How?" Usagi asked as she looked at Naru.
"I tied a big rainbow colored bow to it before we left." Naru answered with a smile.
"Dang it, why didn't I think to do something like that." Usagi said with a sigh as she stared at the belt.
"Because you're Usagi." Rei said with a chuckle.
"Like you did something that makes your bag stand out." Usagi grumbled as she rolled her eyes at Rei.
"You bet I did, I put a bunch of Sailor Venus stickers on it." Rei replied with a smug smile.
"You mean like ninety percent of children on this flight?" Usagi asked with a grin as she pointed out several bags with Sailor V stickers on them.
"Oh man." Rei mumbled as she watched the bags go by.
"I found mine." Ami said with a smile as she grabbed her bag.
"How'd you find it so fast?" Mako asked with a smile as she looked at Ami's bag.
"I carved a scout symbol into it. No one else in our world has ever seen one before, so it was unlikely to be on any other bag." Ami answered with a smile.
"Good thinking Ami." Mako said with a small yawn.
"Drugs still wearing off?" Ami asked with a smile as she looked up at Mako.
"Yeah, but I'm awake enough to know that this big green bag is mine." Mako replied as she pulled her bag off the belt.
"How do you know that's yours?" Ami asked as she looked at the bag.
"The rose petals, my mom made this bag for me years ago." Mako answered as she held her bag up to Ami.
"It's beautiful." Ami complimented as she stared at the bag.
"Thank you Ami." Mako thanked as she hugged Ami. After what felt like an eternity everyone had their bags and they were ready to grab a cab.
"Let's get home everyone!" Sarah yelled as she lead everyone out of the airport. "Taxi!" Sarah yelled as she waved to a taxi. The taxi pulled up to everyone and the window slowly rolled down.
"Morning folks." The driver greeted with a friendly smile.
"Good morning sir." Everyone greeted with similar smiles.
"Y'all heading ta the same place?" The man asked as he looked at everyone in the group.
"Yes sir." Sarah answered with a smile.
"Alright, there's a cab bus on it's way that'll fit y'all in it if ya wanna take that instead." The man offered with a smile.
"Yes please." Sarah replied in a cheerful tone.
"Alright, ya folks have a good day then." The man said as he rolled his window up and waited for a smaller group of passengers. After a few minutes the cab bus pulled up and opened the doors for everyone.
"Howdy y'all, where're ya headed today?" The man asked with a smile as everyone started getting on the bus.
"We're heading ta 1845 cow pie road sir." Sarah answered as she put some cash in the box.
"The Blouse farm?" The driver asked in a cheerful tone.
"Yes sir, how'd ya know that?" Sarah asked in a confused tone.
"Mr. Blouse and I go way back, I was one of his squad members back in the day." The driver explained with a smile.
"No kidding, ya served with my pa?" Sarah asked with a big smile.
"I sure did, I was his second in command back in the Gulf War." The man answered as he started driving.
"Then that means ya must be Mr. Ferrell!" Sarah yelled with enthusiasm.
"Hey! I'm impressed, ya remember me?" The man yelled with a smile.
"Remember ya?! I love ya Mr. Ferrell! Ya saved my pa's life after that ambush, one of the first thangs he told me about when I was old enough ta speak was the story about the great super hero Ferrel and how he ran through a mine field while under heavy fire ta save him. Ya were my biggest hero when I was a kid, ya still are sir!" Sarah yelled with a huge smile.
"Yer pa played that story up, I didn't run through no mine filed ta grab him. His dumb ass fell face down in the mud less than a foot from our foxhole, so I grabbed the back of his jacket and dragged him into it. Though he would've been cut in half by a machine gun if I hadn't. Still though, he made me sound much cooler than I was." The man chuckled as he pulled into a long dirt driveway.
"Y'll always be that cool guy ta me sir, I would've thought ya were the coolest guy around even ya saved my pa from something as dumb as a cranky cow." Sarah replied as the car came to a stop.
"Shucks Sarah, y're gonna make an old man blush in front of a bunch of pertty gals." The man laughed as he got out of the car and opened the trunk.
"Would ya like ta stay fer a bit, I know pa would love ta see ya?" Sarah asked with a smile as the man handed her a few bags.
"Thanks Sarah, but I gotta get back ta work. But tell yer pa Mr. Ferrel says hi." The man replied as he gave everyone their bags and closed the trunk.
"Will do sir, have a good day." Sarah said with a smile as she watched the man get back in the cab and drive away. "Alright everyone, welcome ta casa de Blouse!" Sarah yelled as she gestured to her house. Everyone stared at her home with joy, it wasn't a huge house but it was big enough to fit them all comfortably. It was a traditional two story ranch style home with a dirt driveway and a large barn, everyone could also see a few fields of various crops spread around in all different directions. "We's got a swimming hole out back if any of yas wanna beat the Texas heat, there're some woods ta the back left of the property, and obviously we's got the barn where the horses hang out. The field ya see is actually Mr. Davis's corn field, it's technically on our property but he bought it from grandpa long before I was born. Though he is nice enough ta let me run around in it whenever I wanna. Other than that though there ain't much else but the animals. Still though, it's my own little version of paradise that y'all are more than welcome ta wander around and explore, just don't mess with the animals without ma, pa, er myself accompanying yas." Sarah informed with a smile as she gestured to each place.
"It's beautiful Sarah, thank you so much for inviting us here." Kaede thanked with a smile as she planted a kiss on Sarah's cheek.
"Awe, y're welcome darling. Now come on, I can't wait ta introduce ya ta my parents!" Sarah yelled with enthusiasm as she grabbed Kaede's hand and ran her towards her house.
"Hey, you okay Ami?" Mako quietly asked as she noticed Ami rub her head a little.
"Yeah, I just got the strangest felling. I feel like I've seen this place before, I can't explain it but the barn and field look so familiar to me. Maybe I just have jet lag and I'm tired or something." Ami replied with a small sigh. Mako gave her a nervous look before both of them let it go.
"Mama look, a mousy! A mousy!" Diana yelled as she took off after the small rodent, who fled for its life.
"Don't eat that thing Diana, it's riddled with germs!" Artemis yelled as him and Luna took off after their daughter.
"Surprise!" Sarah shouted as she burst through the front door of her home.
"Sarah?!" Her parents yelled as they stared at their daughter.
"In the flesh!" Sarah yelled back with a huge smile.
"Welcome home honey!" Her mother yelled as she ran over to Sarah and hugged her.
"We didn't think ya were supposed to be back fer another week!" Her father informed as he also ran over to Sarah and hugged her.
"I'm right on time pa, I just wanted ta surprise the two of yas, so I lied." Sarah said with a smile as she hugged her parents back.
"Oh we've missed ya so much baby. How was Japan, did ya have fun?" Her mother asked with a smile.
"Tons! Plus I made lots of new friends!" Sarah yelled with excitement as she gestured to everyone behind her.
"Ya sure did! It's nice ta meet all of yas, my name's Jud and this is my wife Emily." Sarah's dad introduced as he gestured to himself and his wife.
"Pleasure to meet you sir. My name's Saeko." Saeko introduced herself with a smile.
"I'm Kenji and this is my wife Ikuko." Kenji informed as he shook Jud's hand.
"Pleasure ta meet all of yas." Jud replied with a smile as he shook everyone's hands.
"This is our son Shingo and our uh...daughter Chibiusa." Ikuko informed with a smile and a small pause as she gestured to Shingo and Chibiusa.
"Howdy youngens, it's nice ta meet yas." Jud replied as he shook each of their hands.
"Nice to meet you to sir." They each replied as they shook his hand back.
"I'm Usagi, I'm also their daughter." Usagi informed as she shook Jud's hand.
"I see the resemblance between you and yer sister. Nice ta meet ya Usagi." Jud replied with a smile
"I'm Mako." Mako introduced with a smile as she shook Jud's hand.
"I'm Ami." Ami introduced as she did the same thing.
"Pleasure ta meet ya both." Jud replied with a smile as he shook each of their hands.
"I'm Rei and this is Minako." Rei introduced herself and Minako as they each shook Jud's hand.
"Nice ta meet the two of yas." Jud replied as he shook their hands back.
"That means that you must be Kaede." Emily said with a smile as she shook Kaede's hand.
"Yes ma'am, it's a pleasure to meet you." Kaede replied as she shook Emily's hand.
"Oh I've heard so many nice things about all of yas, but you especially Kaede. Ya seemed ta have stollen my little gals heart." Emily said with a chuckle as she hugged Kaede.
"She stole mine to." Kaede replied as she hugged Emily back.
"I'm glad that ya two are so happy together." Emily said with a smile as she let go of Kaede.
"Me to. Your daughter's a wonderful person, and I'm blessed to have met her." Kaede replied with a smile as she looked over at Sarah, who smiled back at her.
"Now who are these three adorable little fellas down here?" Jud asked with a smile as he kneeled down in front of Luna, Artemis, and Diana.
"I'm Diana, and this is my mama Luna and my daddy Artemis." Diana said with a smile. Luna and Artemis just stared at Diana with their mouths agape.
"Heh, funny. I could've sworn that kitten just spoke ta me." Jud said with a nervous chuckle.
"We must both be nuts er something dear, because I heard it to." Emily informed as she stared at the cats.
"No, ya ain't crazy, they talk." Sarah informed nonchalantly.
"Y're kidding right?" Emily asked as she stared at Sarah with a shocked expression.
"Nope, y'll get use ta it. Besides, ya think that's nuts, wait till ya hear what my friends do!" Sarah yelled with excitement as she looked back at Kaede.
"What do yer friends do that could be more surprising than talking cats?" Jud asked as he continued to stare at the cats.
"Y'all wanna show 'em?" Sarah asked with a grin as she looked back at everyone.
"If you want us to I suppose." Usagi replied as she pulled her brooch out. "Everybody okay with this?" Usagi asked as she held her brooch out.
"Of course." Rei replied as she and everyone else grabbed their wands. "Mars crystal power!" Rei shouted as she raised her wand.
"Venus crystal power!" Minako yelled as she copied Rei.
"Mercury crystal power!" Ami yelled as she did the same thing.
"Jupiter crystal power!" Mako called out as she held her wand up.
"Europa moon power!" Kaede shouted as she held her hand in the air.
"Moon eternal!" Usagi shouted as she held her brooch above her head. "Make up!" Everyone finished simultaneously. In a rainbow flash of light everyone assumed their guardian forms and stood proud in front of Sarah's parents.
"Holly shit! Pardon my French gals, but what in the world?! Yer friends are the legendary Sailor Guardians?!" Jud yelled as he stared at everyone.
"Ya know about 'em?" Sarah asked in a surprised tone as she stared at her father.
"Know about 'em?! They're freaking super heroes Sarah! Super heroes from a country my little girl spent how many months in! I made it my mission ta know everthang there was ta know about present day Japan, and ya can't research Japan without finding something about these legendary guardians! Like the news article of how they helped pull civilians out of a massive pile up, and did it with zero casualties. Or the news clipping about how they ran into a burning building and cleared half the floors of civilians before it collapsed, again they did it without any fatalities! They're like the worlds black ops unit, fighting super natural foes at night and living ordinary lives during the day. They stop threats that for several years the world didn't even know about! Y're friends are the coolest of the cool!" Emily yelled as she stared at everyone. "Oh my god, I hope I ain't imposing er nothing, but can I get y'all ta sign my collectibles?!" Emily shouted as she stared at everyone.
"Ya have collectibles now ma?" Sarah asked with a surprised expression.
"Oh yeah, y're ma's become a bit of a Sailor Guardian hoarder since ya left. She's bought so much Sailor Guardian junk and had it shipped here that I had ta hide the credit card." Jud informed with a chuckle.
"I can't help it hun, they're so awesome! Especially that Jupiter, the power she has. It's so amazing! She's like Thor in a skirt! I love her! Not that the rest of yas ain't cool er nothing, but we all have our faves." Emily said with a nervous chuckle as she looked over at Jupiter.
"Wow, um, thank you ma'am." Jupiter replied with a small blush as she looked down at her feet.
"Look who's embarrassed now." Mercury said with a chuckle as she nudged Jupiter. Jupiter only blushed harder at this.
"Can I get a picture with ya before ya turn back? Pleeeeeease?!" Emily begged as she stared at Jupiter.
"If you really want ma'am." Jupiter replied in a nervous tone.
"EEEEE! I'll get the camera!" Emily yelled as she ran out of the room.
"Awe, ma likes ya Mako." Sarah chuckled as she looked at Jupiter.
"A little too much maybe." Jupiter quietly replied with a blush.
"Come here honey!" Emily yelled as she ran back into the room, gave the camera to her husband, then hugged Jupiter.
"Say my wife's a weirdo." Jud said with a smile as he held the camera up.
"No I ain't!" Emily yelled as she held Jupiter closer and they both smiled. The camera flashed and a few seconds later a picture came out the bottom of it.
"That's one fer the scrap book. Now why don't the rest of yas get on in there, we need a nice family photo." Jud said with a smile as he held the camera up again. Sailor Moon and the others huddled around Jupiter and Emily, then they gave the camera a big smile.
"Come on y'all, when I said the rest of yas I meant all of yas." Jud said with a smile as he looked Naru and everyone else.
"Oh! Sorry, we thought you meant the guardians only." Naru said with a smile as she and everyone else huddle into the frame.
"I said a family photo, and if there's one thang that Sarah's told me in her phone calls it's that y'all are one big happy family. Super powers er not." Jud replied as he put the camera on a stand. "Everybody say ye haw!" Jud shouted with enthusiasm, as he set a timer and ran over by Emily.
"Ye haw!" Everyone shouted as the camera flashed. After the picture was taken Jud walked back over to the camera and grabbed the photo.
"Now that's a family photo. Welcome ta the family y'all." Jud said with a smile as he stared at the picture.
"Welcome ta the family darling!" Sarah yelled a she jumped into Europa's arms.
"Whoa! I love you to Sarah." Europa said with a smile as she gave Sarah a kiss, then let down her transformation. Everyone else followed suit and soon they were all in their civilian forms once again.
"So, what should we do now?" Sarah asked as she looked at Kaede.
"I wanna see the horses!" Chibiusa yelled as she jumped with excitement.
"Calm down Chibiusa, we're not gonna forget to go see the horses." Usagi instructed with a chuckle as she looked down at Chibiusa.
"But I'm so excited to see them Usagi, they're the closest thing to Helios I'll ever see." Chibiusa replied with a small frown.
"That's not true Chibiusa, you can see Pegasus in your dreams every night." Usagi said with a smile as she hugged Chibiusa.
"I know, but it's just not the same." Chibiusa quietly replied as she hugged Usagi back.
"Ya mind if I take 'em horseback riding pa?" Sarah asked with a smile.
"I suppose so, just be careful okay. Buttercup's been a little feisty since ya left, I think she misses her mama." Jud replied with a small smile.
"Thanks pa. Come on y'all, let's go ride some horses!" Sarah yelled as she ran out the front door, followed by Usagi and the others.
"I don't know if I wanna watch Usagi ride a horse, I love our daughter but she can be a little..." Ikuko started saying, trailing off at the thought of insulting her own daughter.
"Uncoordinated." Luna finished with a smile.
"Yeah. Oh, that sounds so mean but it's true." Ikuko quietly said with a sigh.
"I wouldn't be so worried about her coordination Ikuko-San, I'd be more worried about what's gonna happen to their psyche when they get on those horses." Saeko quielty said with a small frown.
"What do mean Saeko-San?" Ikuko asked with a confused expression.
"I went through Ami and Mako's journals a while back, and from what I read none of them had any issues riding horse back in that other world. I'm more concerned about what might happen when they're riding here. Reliving that experience of riding horses could trigger a reaction in any of them, especially if certain circumstances happen to present themselves." Saeko explained with a thoughtful expression.
"Such as what?" Kenji asked in a nervous tone.
"A loud bang, a strike of lighting or clap of thunder, any number of things could set them off." Saeko explained with a small frown.
"Forgive me fer intruding on yer conversation y'all, but are ya talking about their PTSD?" Jud asked with a small frown.
"Yeah, how'd you know they had PTSD?" Saeko asked in a confused tone.
"Sarah warned us a few days ago, she told us what happened and what we needed ta do ta reduce their risk of PTSD related episodes. That's why there're bare spots on some of the walls, we use ta have some guns hanging on them hooks. I hid 'em away so they wouldn't see 'em." Jud explained with a straight face.
"Thank you. We're sorry if we're putting you out of your way or anything with their issues." Saeko apologized with a small bow.
"Ya ain't causing any harm in having us put some stuff away. I've been in tham gals shoes before and trust me, them are a heavy and uncomfortable pair of shoes ta be in, and it's hard ta take 'em off. Anythang we can do ta help them gals transition through everythang ain't a bother ta us at all ma'am." Jud replied with a smile.
"Thank you, I'm so glad that everyone met Sarah, she's helped them in more ways than any of us can even quantify." Saeko quietly thanked as she hugged Jud.
"Yer gals did the same fer my little girl, I ain't seen her this happy since before Jenny died." Jud quietly replied as he hugged Saeko back.
"Well, who wants some coffee while we wait fer everyone ta get back?" Emily asked with a smile as she walked into the kitchen. While the adults hung out drinking coffee and chatting, everyone else was with Sarah in the horse barn.
"Alright y'all, who's ready ta ride?" Sarah asked with a smile as she started saddling the horses.
"I'm a little nervous, I don't know if I wanna ride alone." Shingo quietly said as he stared at one of the horses.
"That's okay, you can ride with me if you'd like Shingo." Rei offered with a smile.
"Thank you." Shingo thanked with a smile.
"You're gonna ride with me Chibiusa." Usagi said with a smile as she looked down at Chibiusa.
"Are you sure you don't want Naru to ride with you?" Chibiusa asked with a smile as she looked up at Usagi.
"I do, but you're my responsibility above all other things Chibiusa. No offense Naru." Usagi replied with a smile as she looked back at Naru.
"None taken." Naru replied with a shrug.
"She can ride with me if she wants, that way you and Naru can ride together." Mako offered with a smile.
"Would that be okay Usagi?" Chibiusa asked with a smile as she looked at Mako.
"Whatever you wanna do Chibiusa." Usagi replied with a smile.
"Yay!" Chibiusa yelled as she ran over by Mako.
"So I guess that means you're partnerless now." Naru said with a grin as she took a step towards Usagi.
"It would seem so. If only there was a red headed beauty out there to take Chibiusa's place." Usagi replied with a chuckle.
"You're on your own Usagi, I've got my own horse." Kaede said with a smirk as she mounted a horse.
"Ha ha, you know which red headed beauty I was talking about Kaede." Usagi replied as she playfully rolled her eyes at Kaede.
"I know, I just like to be a stinker some times." Kaede chuckled as she grabbed the reigns.
"So how about it Naru, you wanna ride with me?" Usagi asked with a smile as she held her hand out to Naru.
"I'd be delighted to." Naru replied as she took Usagi's hand in her own.
"Glad that's all settled, now let's mount up y'all!" Sarah yelled as she mounted Buttercup. "Did ya miss mama, I bet ya did. Did ma and pa take care of ya when I was gone?" Sarah asked as she lightly stroked her horses mane. The horse whinnied in response and looked back at Sarah. "I'm glad that they took care of yas sweetie. Yes I am, yes I am my little Buttercup." Sarah said as she pet her horse. "Alright y'all, lets ride!" Sarah yelled as she flicked the reigns and started leading everyone out of the barn.
"Hold on Shingo." Rei said as she gently flicked the reigns.
"You to Chibiusa." Mako instructed as she started following Rei.
"Ready Naru?" Usagi asked with a smile as she looked back at Naru.
"Definitely." Naru replied as she wrapped her arms around Usagi. "Huh, you feel less doughy than you use to." Naru said with a smile as she poked Usagi's stomach.
"You thought I was doughy?" Usagi quietly asked with a small blush.
"A little, but that's okay. You were my friend no matter how soft or chiseled you were Usagi." Naru replied with a smile as she held Usagi close.
"Come on y'all, let's pick up the pace. Ya!" Sarah yelled as she flicked her reigns. Buttercup neighed in response and started running down the path.
"Hold on Chibiusa!" Mako instructed as she did the same thing.
"You to Shingo, I don't want you falling off!" Rei yelled as she started after Mako.
"Hold on Naru!" Usagi yelled as she took off to the front of the group. "Alright, you all know the drill! Mako, Rei, and I will remain in the vanguard, the rest of you assume long range scouting formation!" Usagi shouted as she held her arm out to the side.
"Right!" Everyone else replied as they all split off to the sides.
"Woah!" Sarah yelled as she pulled back on her reigns. Buttercup neighed in response and stopped.
"What are you doing Sarah, we can't stop here, we're too exposed!" Kaede shouted as she stopped and looked over at Sarah.
"She's right, if we stay here we'll be eaten for sure!" Mako shouted as she looked over at Sarah.
"Nothing's gonna eat any of yas out here, ya ain't in that world no more. Just try and take a deep breath okay." Sarah instructed as she looked around at everyone.
"We aren't safe here Sarah, we need to go!" Usagi shouted as she looked back at Sarah.
"It's okay, ya ain't in any danger here. Just close yer eyes fer a second okay." Sarah calmly instructed as she looked at Usagi.
"If I do that I won't see them coming though!" Usagi shouted back in a frightened tone.
"Trust me, y'all are gonna be okay. Just take a deep breath and close yer eyes." Sarah calmly instructed again. Usagi lightly nodded her head and closed her eyes. "Good, now breathe softly." Sarah instructed in a friendly tone. Usagi started taking some slow deep breaths as she waited for Sarah to speak again. "Now tell me what ya see." Sarah instructed in the same calm and friendly tone.
"I see the open fields of titan country, I hear people screaming, and I see the beast titan. He has Ami, he's gonna crush her." Usagi quietly cried.
"Okay. Take a deep breath, and open yer eyes." Sarah instructed as she watched Usagi closely. Usagi slowly opened her eyes and looked around. "Do ya still see any of it?" Sarah asked with a small smile.
"No." Usagi quietly cried as she leaned back against Naru.
"Yer home now, y'all are safe and sound back home." Sarah quietly said with a small smile.
"It's okay Usagi, it's okay." Naru quietly said as she gently wrapped her arms around Usagi.
"I'm sorry everyone, I'm sorry that we freaked out and ruined the experience for you two." Usagi quietly cried as she cuddled closer to Naru.
"You didn't ruin anything sis, we're just glad that you're all okay." Shingo quietly replied with a small smile.
"You're so nice to us Shingo, thank you." Usagi quietly cried as she clung to Naru.
"Y'all feeling a little better?" Sarah asked with a small smile as she looked at everyone. Everyone lightly nodded their heads yes. "That's good, now let's head on back, looks like it's about ta storm anyways." Sarah quietly said as she turned Buttercup around, then started leading everyone back towards the barn.
"You okay Usagi?" Chibiusa asked with a small smile as she looked over at Usagi.
"Yeah, thank you Chibiusa." Usagi quietly thanked with a small sniffle as everyone approached the barn.
"Y'all head inside while I take care of the horses." Sarah instructed as she dismounted her horse.
"Okay. Thank you Sarah." Usagi replied as she dismounted her horse, then helped Naru off of it.
"Any time y'all." Sarah replied as she started taking the reigns and saddles off the horses.
"Come on, let's get inside." Usagi quietly said as she started leading everyone towards the house.
"Ya don't gotta wait fer me darling." Sarah said with a smile as she looked over at Kaede, who was standing in one spot staring at the ground.
"I don't wanna be alone Sarah, please don't make me go." Kaede quietly cried as she looked up at Sarah.
"I'd never make ya go Kaede." Sarah quietly said as she stared at Kaede with a look of sorrow. "Come here darling, it's okay." Sarah quietly instructed as she held her arm out to Kaede. Kaede slowly walked over to Sarah and rested her head on her chest.
"How do you do it Sarah?" Kaede quietly asked as she clung to Sarah.
"Do what Kaede?" Sarah quietly asked as she wrapped an arm around Kaede.
"Keep going. How did you let it go, the pain and the anger you felt after everything?" Kaede cried as she looked into Sarah's eyes.
"I never did darling, I miss her every second of every day. But I don't let it stop me from living a life that she'd be proud of, that's what gives me strength Kaede. The strength ta live fer us both, I need ta live my life ta the fullest so I can live enough life fer Jenny and myself; and ya need ta try and do the same fer Sasha. I know it hurts darling, but she'd be so proud of ya Kaede. She'd be so proud of yer strength darling." Sarah quietly said as she hugged Kaede as tight as she could.
"Sarah." Kaede quietly cried as she clung to Sarah.
"Come on, let's get inside and get something ta eat. Then we'll get our pjs on and get some shut eye. Y're gonna need yer rest fer tommara darling." Sarah quietly said as she gave Kaede a kiss on her forehead. Kaede lightly nodded and walked with Sarah towards the house.
"Well that was quick, y'all weren't gone fer even ten minutes." Emily said with a smile as everyone slowly walked back into the house.
"You gals alright, y'all look live y've seen a ghost?" Jud asked with a small frown as he watched everyone walk past the kitchen.
"We don't wanna talk about it." Usagi quietly replied in a shaky tone.
"It might help if ya do." Emily suggested with a smile.
"If it hasn't helped in over a month, why would it help now." Rei quietly said as she fought back tears.
"Because healing from trauma takes time, and the more ya talk about it the more likely ya are ta have breakthroughs in yer recovery." Jud explained with a straight face.
"I'm tired of talking about the people I killed, I'm tired of seeing their faces every time I sleep or even close my eyes. I'm just plain tired sir." Ami quietly cried as she sulked past the kitchen.
"Why don't y'all head upstairs and get yer pjs on, y'll feel better once ya do." Sarah suggested with a small frown as she walked into the kitchen. Usagi lightly nodded at Sarah, then slowly lead everyone upstairs.
"That common with yer gals?" Jud asked with a small frown as he looked at Saeko, Ikuko, and Kenji.
"Unfortunately." Saeko quietly answered with a sigh.
"I don't mean ta pry, but are they seeing anyone fer it?" Jud asked with a straight face.
"Yeah, they see a trauma counselor at a nearby fire department. They've gotten a little better since seeing him, but they're all still tormented by their memories." Kenji quietly answered.
"Take it from someone who's been where they are, it's a long hard road ta recovery, but if they keep fighting they'll get better. Granted they're gonna stumble and fall every now and again, and they ain't ever gonna be the same as when they left, but if they keep pushing forward they'll find light at the end of the tunnel. They just gotta be strong enough ta stumble their way through the dark until then." Jud quietly said with a small smile.
"I have no doubt that yer gals are gonna be just fine, if there's one thang the Sailor Guardians are it's fighters. They'll all make it ta that distant light, they just need time." Emily added with a grin.
"Thank you, that makes us all feel a little better. To be honest we've been worried about them for a while, they all try and put on a brave face for us and the rest of the world, but we can always see the pain underneath it." Ikuko quietly said with a small frown.
"Kaede is whom I'm most worried about. She lost more in that world than anyone else, and now with such a shift in her routine for this vacation, I'm worried that she may be more vulnerable to her own demons." Saeko quietly explained with a sad expression.
"Don't worry ma'am, Sarah's with her which means she ain't ever gonna be alone. Even when she wants ta be." Jud informed with a small chuckle.
"Thank you, we all appreciate what she's done for all of them. The positive impact your daughter's made in their lives has been immeasurable." Saeko quietly said with a smile.
"Yer gals have done the same fer ours. Ta be honest we were really worried about letting Sarah go ta Japan on her own after what happened, but I'm glad that we did because she came home a different person. Yer gals gave us our little girl back, and fer that we'll always be thankful ta all of yas." Emily informed with a smile as she hugged Saeko.
"This feels good." Minako said with a smile as her and everyone else came down the steps.
"Just don't stretch too much Mina, you can't afford to loose anymore buttons." Rei said with a grin as she looked at Minako's chest.
"You'd like that and you know it. You adorable perv." Minako replied with a smile as she nudged Rei. Rei couldn't help but blush at that comment.
"Y'all look nice and cozy now, ya ready fer dinner?" Emily asked with a smile as everyone walked into the kitchen.
"Yes please, thank you ma'am." Ami thanked with a small bow.
"Y're welcome. Jud ya wanna head down ta the basement and grab the leaf fer the table please, as well as the extra chairs?" Emily asked as she pulled a package of steaks and burgers out of the fridge.
"Sure thang honey." Jud replied as he got up and started walking away.
"Sarah ya wanna help yer pa grab them chairs please?" Emily asked as she started walking towards the back door.
"Okay." Sarah replied with a smile as she scurried after her dad.
"Is there anything we can do to help Ms. Blouse?" Usagi asked with a smile.
"That's sweet of yas ta ask honey, but y'all are guests here. Just sit back and relax while we set thangs up, it shouldn't take too long." Emily replied with a sweet smile as she walked out the door.
"So how are you all enjoying things so far?" Ikuko asked as she looked at everyone.
"It's nice mom, much different than the hustle and bustle of the city. I'd get a vacation house out here if I could afford it." Usagi answered with a chuckle.
"I'm glad you're all having a good time. Did any of you make any plans with Sarah for tomorrow?" Saeko asked with a smile as she looked at everyone.
"We haven't really talked about that yet, maybe during or after dinner." Kaede answered as she sat down at the table.
"Oh! I just realized that we never called your mom Kaede, we should let her know that we made it safe and soundly." Saeko suggested as she started walking towards the back door.
"Good idea, thank you for saying something Mizuno-San." Kaede thanked as she quickly followed Saeko.
"Hey there, ya two alright?" Emily asked as Saeko and Kaede stepped out onto the patio.
"Yes, thank you. We were just wondering if you had a phone we could borrow so we could let Akiko-San know that we made it safely." Saeko informed in a friendly tone.
"Sure thang. Catch." Emily replied with a smile as she tossed Saeko a cellphone. "Don't worry about the long distance charge, we've got a good cell plan." Emily informed with a smile as she went back to grilling.
"Thank you." Saeko thanked as she dialed the number she knew best.
"GOG headquarters, this is officer Emiko speaking." Emiko answered in a serious tone.
"Hey Emiko-San, it's Saeko. Is Akiko-San around?" Saeko asked in a friendly tone.
"Yeah, her and Kazuto just got back from a call. Hold on a sec." Emiko informed as she she put her hand over the mouth piece. "Akiko!" Emiko yelled from the kitchen.
"Yeah?!" Akiko yelled back as she finished restocking the ambulance.
"Mizuno-San's on the phone!" Emiko informed in a happy tone.
"Really?! Oh my god I'm coming!" Akiko yelled as she stormed up the stairs towards Emiko, then quickly grabbed the phone from her. "Hello!" Akiko yelled in a happy and slightly concerned tone.
"We're all good Akiko-San, no need to get freaked out. We just thought we'd check in and let you know that we all made it safe and sound to Sarah's place." Saeko informed with a chuckle.
"Oh thank goodness. How'd Mako do on the plane, I know she hates them a lot?" Akiko asked in a nervous tone.
"Ami gave her a sedative for the flight, she didn't wake up until the plane was about to land." Saeko answered in a happy tone.
"I'm glad she did okay, I was a little worried about her." Akiko replied with a sigh of relief.
"You better hope Kaede doesn't get jealous of how much you worry about Mako." Saeko said with a chuckle.
"Oh I knew Kaede would be fine, my daughter's always wanted to fly. She use to tie a blanket around her neck like a cape when she was younger, then she'd try and jump off her bed hoping her cape would let her fly like a superhero." Akiko replied as she smiled at her own memories.
"That sounds like Kaede. Well I just wanted to let you know how things went, however I'm sure you'd like to talk to Kaede and Mako if you have the time." Saeko said as she looked at Kaede.
"I'd love to Saeko-San, but unfortunately the bell just went off! I have to cut our call short, give my love to the girls though!" Akiko yelled as she quickly hung up the phone.
"Mom had to run?" Kaede asked with a smile.
"Unfortunately. Sorry you didn't get to talk to her Kaede, but she sends her love to you and Mako." Saeko informed with a small frown.
"I love her to." Kaede replied with a smile as she hugged Saeko.
"Alright folks, hope y'all are hungry because I made enough fer a small army!" Emily yelled as she carried in a platter of burgers. "Now I didn't know if any of yas didn't like er couldn't eat cheese, so I made half with and half without cheese. If we run outa cheese burgers and ya want one just say something and I'll melt a piece on it fer yas." Emily informed with a smile as she sat down next to Jud.
"What would y'all like ta drink?" Sarah asked as she set some plates and cups in front of everyone.
"Ya know yer old man needs a beer after a long day." Jud said with a smile as he held his hand out to Sarah.
"Light er regular?" Sarah asked as she opened the fridge.
"Ya know I don't drink light, but I am a light drinker." Jud replied with a chuckle as Sarah grabbed a beer out of the fridge.
"Thank goodness fer that." Sarah said with a giggle as she handed the beer to her dad.
"Hey now, where're yer manners Jud? Offer something ta yer guests before ya go drinking all the beer." Emily scolded with a smile.
"I'm sorry folks, my wife is absolutely right. What would y'all like ta drink? We's got soda, milk, juice, water, and of course beer." Jud informed as he popped the top off his drink.
"Can I have a soda please?!" Chibiusa asked with a huge smile.
"Absolutely not Chibiusa, it's way too late for you to be drinking caffeinated or even sugary drinks." Usagi interjected in a motherly tone.
"Mama Naru?" Chibiusa asked with a smile.
"Oh no, don't you start that Chibiusa. Usagi already said no. Even Mamoru-San wouldn't let you drink soda this late. Besides, you need the calcium so you grow up big and strong like Usagi. Now kindly ask for some milk." Naru instructed with a smile.
"Yes Naru." Chibiusa pouted as she looked at Sarah. "May I have a glass of milk please?" Chibiusa asked with a smile.
"Sure thang sugar." Sarah replied as she poured Chibiusa a glass of milk.
"Thank you." Chibiusa thanked as she took the milk and sipped on it.
"Yer welcome. What would the rest of yas like?" Sarah asked as she looked at everyone else.
"Milk please." Usagi and everyone else answered with smiles.
"Alright, milk fer the guardians and their friends. How about fer the adults?" Sarah asked as she poured milk for everyone else.
"I'm good with water please." Saeko informed with a smile.
"I'd like a beer please if you don't mind." Kenji said with a smile. Ikuko gave him a surprised look. "What? We're on vacation, I don't drink often." Kenji said with a smile.
"What the heck, may I have one as well please?" Ikuko asked with a smile.
"Sure thang, two beers coming up." Sarah replied as she popped the tops off two beers and handed one to each of them.
"Thank you." They both thanked with smiles.
"Well, dig in everyone. We's got cheese burgers, plain burgers, and lots of toppings and condiments. If any of yas need anythang else just ask." Emily said with a smile.
"Thank you everyone." Usagi thanked with a smile as she picked up her burger and started eating.
"So, ya gals have any plans fer tomorra?" Emily asked as she took a bite of her burger.
"Not that we know of, but I have a feeling there's something Sarah's not telling me." Kaede replied as she gave Sarah a suspicious look.
"Wow, y're about as sharp as K-Bar Kaede, and twice as bright." Sarah said with a chuckle. "I had a few thangs in mind." Sarah informed with a small grin.
"Well don't keep us in suspense Sarah, what were you thinking?" Kaede asked with a smile.
"I was thinking about taking y'all ta town ta look around, it's a real cute place. Lotta ma and pop shops ta browse around in." Sarah informed with a smile.
"That sounds like a really nice time Sarah." Kaede replied with a smile.
"I'm glad ya like the idea, and don't nobody feel obligated ta come er nothing. If ya wanna come y're more than welcome ta, otherwise y're free ta hangout here. We's got lots of land ta explore, a nice clear swimming hole, plus ma and pa can take yas horseback riding if any of yas wanna go again." Sarah informed with a smile.
"Oh I've always wanted to ride a horse." Saeko said with a smile.
"Really?!" Ami asked in a surprised tone.
"Yeah, it's been a dream of mine since I was Chibiusa's age." Saeko informed with a smile.
"I never knew that mom, why didn't you come with today?" Ami asked in a confused tone.
"I didn't wanna intrude on your time with Chibiusa and Shingo, plus I was worried that you all might freak out a bit on those horses. I couldn't bring myself to see you all so upset." Saeko answered with a small sigh.
"Sorry if I scare you when I get like that mom, I don't mean to." Ami quietly apologized with a small frown as she nibbled on her burger.
"I know you don't sweetie, and I'm not afraid of you at all. I just hate to see you all in so much pain, it's enough to break a mother's heart." Saeko quietly informed as she hugged Ami.
"I love you mom." Ami quietly said as she held onto Saeko.
"I love you to Ami." Saeko quietly replied as she hugged Ami tighter.
"Don't forget Mako and Kaede mom, this isn't easy for them either." Ami quietly said with a smile.
"I could never forget my two little Kinos. I'd forget how to breathe before I forgot my babies." Saeko replied as she hugged Mako and Kaede.
"We love you to mama Mizuno." Mako and Kaede both said as they each hugged Saeko.
"Looks like it's bedtime for someone over there." Usagi quietly said as she watched Chibiusa yawn.
"I think you should all get to bed, it's gonna be a big day tomorrow." Ikuko quietly said with a smile.
"That sounds good to me Tsukino-San." Rei quietly said with a small yawn.
"Me to, goodnight everyone." Minako quietly said as she stood up and stretched, snapping one of her shirt buttons off as she did.
"AH! MINAKO!" Rei screamed as the button hit her in the eye.
"Oops." Minako quietly said with a nervous chuckle.
"When I get my hands on you." Rei grumbled as she held a hand over her eye.
"Yes?" Minako asked in an excited tone.
"You're gonna need a smaller bra." Rei bit back as she clutched her swelling eye.
"Oh." Minako sighed in disappointment.
"No matter how far from home we get I'll never feel homesick with all of you around." Usagi chuckled as she watched Rei stare at Minako.
"That's for sure." Naru replied as she stood up.
"Well why don't y'all go get some rest, Sarah'll show all of yas ta her room. The adults are welcome ta the guest rooms." Emily suggested with a smile as she started clearing the table.
"Thank you." Everyone thanked with smiles as they all bowed.
"Come on y'all, let's go get some shut eye." Sarah said with a smile as she started leading everyone upstairs.
"They're all real nice folks, I'm glad Sarah met 'em." Jud quietly said as he watched everyone leave the kitchen and head towards the steps.
"Me to. Well let's clean up so we can get ta bed as well." Emily replied as she put her hand on Jud's shoulder.
"I'll get the dishes while ya take care of the table." Jud said as he stood up. While Jud and Sarah cleaned up downstairs, everyone else was upstairs getting ready for bed.
"Let me just grab my bag so you can all change in private." Shingo said as he grabbed his bag and walked out of Sarah's room.
"Let's get changed and get some shut eye, I's got plans fer tomorra." Sarah said with a smile as she started undressing.
"Wow Sarah, you look..." Kaede started saying, trailing off as she stared at Sarah in her underwear.
"Hot?" Minako asked as she looked at Sarah.
"Sexy?" Mako asked with a smile.
"Like the kind of girl I'd've been jealous of once?" Ami asked with a smile.
"All that and more." Kaede quietly said with a small blush.
"Awe, y'all are so sweet. But I ain't all that, I'm a bit doughy if anythang." Sarah informed as she poked her stomach a few times. "But I like me like this, and so should someone else over there." Sarah replied as she looked over at Ami, who blushed and looked down at her own small muffin top.
"Your belly's much slimmer than mine Sarah." Ami quietly said with a small smile as she undressed.
"Maybe so, but yers is much cuter." Sarah replied with a smile.
"I agree, Ami looks extra cute with some meat on her." Minako said with a smile as she looked at Ami.
"Is that the excuse I need to fatten you up Mina?" Rei asked with a chuckle as she poked Minako's chest.
"Ha ha Rei, F.Y.I, my breasts probably aren't gonna get much bigger if you do try to fatten me up. It's all gonna end up on my butt." Minako said with a grin.
"Oh yes please." Rei said with a grin as she spanked Minako.
"Oh my god! I can't believe you just did that in front of everyone! Have you no shame or decency Rei?!" Minako yelled as she put her hands over her butt, then turned around and stared at Rei.
"No, I forgot to pack that before we left." Rei replied with a grin.
"Why you..." Minako grumbled as she stared at Rei. "Come here Rei, it's my turn to get a few smacks in!" Minako yelled as she chased after Rei.
"NOOO! My butt's too small and sensitive for that!" Rei yelled as she ran away from Minako.
"And mine isn't?!" Minako shouted back as she continued to chase Rei.
"Not as small as mine!" Rei yelled back with a laugh as she ran away from Minako.
"I can't believe what you're insinuating! I'm gonna kick your butt Rei!" Minako shouted as she continued her pursuit of her girlfriend.
"Come on you two, you're embarrassing us." Ami quietly said as she fidgeted nervously.
"Ah let 'em horse around, it ain't a sleepover without a little nonsense." Sarah said with a smile as she watched Rei and Minako run around some more. "In fact." Sarah said with a grin as she grabbed one of the many pillows she had on her bed. "NUDE PILLOW FIGHT!" Sarah shouted as she slapped Kaede in the face with a pillow.
"Ah! Sarah!" Kaede shouted in a shocked tone as she stared at Sarah.
"Awe come on darling, grab some ammo!" Sarah yelled as she threw a pillow at Kaede.
"You asked for it!" Kaede yelled with a smile as she started swinging at Sarah, hitting Mako in the process.
"You're done now sis." Mako said as she grabbed another pillow and swung it at Kaede, who ducked just in time to avoid it and watch it hit Ami. "Oh my god. Ami I'm so sorry, I was trying to..." Mako started apologizing, until Ami held a finger up to Mako's lips, then smirked at her. "What?" Mako asked in a nervous tone. Her answer came in the form of a pillow as Ami bopped her over the head with it.
"That felt so awesome! I haven't had a pillow fight since I was..." Ami started saying, until she was interrupted by a pillow to the face.
"A kid!" Usagi finished as she pulled the pillow away from Ami's face.
"Excuse me." Naru quietly said as she tapped Usagi on the shoulder.
"Yeah Naru?" Usagi asked as she turned around.
"I have something for you, something soft." Naru said with a smile.
"Is it a pillow?" Usagi asked with a smile.
"You tell me!" Naru yelled as she slapped Usagi in the stomach with a pillow.
"Oh Mina." Rei said with an evil grin.
"Yes?" Minako asked with an equally evil grin.
"You're done for! Now taste my fluffy doom!" Rei shouted as she smacked Minako with a pillow.
"No Rei, I am your doom." Minako giggled as she threw a pillow at Rei's head.
"That's not true, that's impossible!" Rei yelled with a big grin.
"Join me, and together we can rule the room." Minako chuckled as she held her hand out to Rei.
"Sure!" Rei replied as she took Minako's hand. "Duel pillow wars!" Minako and Rei shouted together as they gained up on everyone else.
"Take cover!" Mako shouted as she hid behind a chair. Everyone else quickly scrambled into whatever place they could find to hide.
"Get Kaede and Sarah, they're in the closet!" Rei yelled as she ran to the closet.
"No we ain't, we're very open!" Sarah yelled back. Everyone couldn't help but burst out laughing from that comment.
"We'll let you two go just because that was so perfect." Minako laughed as she walked away from the closet.
"I found Usagi and Naru!" Rei yelled as she looked under Sarah's desk.
"Oh no, please don't hurt us, we surrender." Naru chuckled as she held her hands up.
"Never Naru, we never surrender! Eat my fluffy furry!" Usagi yelled as she pushed a pillow in Rei's face.
"Eww! It's like a bland marshmallow." Rei replied with a smile.
"I'll save you Rei, Venus pillow action!" Minako yelled as she threw her pillow like a frisbee and hit both Usagi and Naru.
"We've been slain by a cheap knock off of your own attack! Never forget me Usagi." Naru said in an overly dramatic tone as she fake died.
"I shan't be far behind. Uh." Usagi replied as she also fake died.
"Ha ha! Two down! Now let's find Mako." Rei said with an evil grin.
"You won't have to look far!" Mako shouted as she popped out of a large chest and slapped Rei with a pillow.
"I'm hit, it's all over. I leave all my worldly possessions to anyone but Usagi. Fare well." Rei dramatically proclaimed as she also fake died.
"NOOOOO! You shall pay for that vile woman, now taste my pillow of vengeance!" Minako shouted as she slapped Mako in the back of the head with her pillow.
"I'm done for, goodbye cruel world. Blah." Mako dramatically stated as she also fake died.
"I don't care how good your joke was before, it's time for you two to come out of the closest." Minako said as she held her pillow up.
"We already did!" Kaede yelled back.
"Your jokes can't save you this time, now taste the wrath of my pillow!" Minako yelled as she charged at the closet, then whipped the door open and swatted both Sarah and Kaede before they could react.
"Ya got me missy, uh. I'm coming ancestors. Blah." Sarah said with a giggle as she fake died.
"You are truly the pillow lord. Uh." Kaede said with a smile as she also fake died.
"Yes! I am the champion! Ha ha, Minako for the...ah!" Minako started saying, until she walked past the bed and got hit in the foot with a pillow.
"Boo." Ami said with a smile as she poked her head out from under the bed.
"Awe man! I forgot about Ami! You have bested me with your under handed tactics, or should I say under bed tactics. Farewell you genius tactician! I'm coming Rei, bluh." Minako dramatically stated as she laid down and pretended to die.
"Woohoo! I win by planning!" Ami shouted as she looked around the room.
"No way, ya won by being tiny enough ta fit under there. I ain't been able ta squeeze under my bed since I was like ten." Sarah informed with a grin.
"The perks of being small. Though if it makes you feel any better it was quite a struggle for me to get under here. I'm just glad you were all distracted by that in the closet joke or I would've been eating pillow for sure." Ami replied with a chuckle as she started crawling out.
"You still will if I have anything to say about it." Minako said with a grin as she picked up a pillow.
"Hey no fair, you were already slain." Ami said with a grin as she looked up at Minako.
"I returned as a zombie to take revenge on my killer. Now eat pillow you fiend." Minako stated as she bopped Ami over her head with the pillow.
"You unholy beast, you'd hit a woman with a pillow while she's down?" Ami asked with a playful pout.
"Duh, I'm a zombie who's come to take revenge on my killer." Minako replied with a smile.
"You monster. You've killed me, I am slain. Ugh." Ami giggled as she fake died.
"That was lots of fun everyone, but I think we should finally put our pjs on and get ready for bed." Usagi suggested as she stretched her arms up and looked at everyone else.
"I agree, I'm pretty tired after all the excitement today." Rei replied with a small yawn.
"Same. Well let's get dressed everyone." Kaede said with a smile as she started digging through her bag for her pajamas.
"Ya gonna come outa there anytime tonight Ami?" Sarah asked as she looked down at Ami, who was still partially under her bed.
"Oh! Duh, I got caught up in the moment." Ami replied with a small blush as she started wiggling out from under Sarah's bed. "Uh, it was a lot easier to get under here than it is to get out." Ami groaned as she pulled against the carpet in front of her.
"Ya need a hand?" Sarah asked with a chuckle as she watched Ami struggle.
"Please." Ami answered as she held her hands out to Sarah.
"This reminds me of one of the last times Jenny and I had a sleepover. We were playing truth er dare and fer some reason we started talking about which one of us was the slimmest. So I says ta her, if ya think y're that small then prove it. I dare ya ta fit under my bed, and she says fine, but don't cry ta me when I fit and you can't. So she gets down on her stomach which at the time was actually a little puffier than yer own, and she starts crawling under. Next thang I know I see her thick legs kicking around and she can't even get her boobs under. But being Jenny she was as stubborn as a mule, so she just kept on a huffing and a struggling until she got 'em under. Then she moves forward a bit, gloating as she did, until her belly got wedged between the floor and the frame. I just stood there laughing at her as she kept on kicking and grumbling, then I tried ta tell her ta come out before she got herself inta trouble, but she said shut up Sarah, I'ma get under here if it kills me. So I just kept watching her struggle and eventually after almost thirty minutes she gets her belly under, and there was no way she was going any further. She didn't wanna hear it when I tried ta warn her though, so she kept going until her sexy bubble butt hit the frame. After like five minutes of trying she didn't move a centimeter, so I decided ta...take advantage of the opportunity so ta speak. That was one of the best nights we had together." Sarah reminisced with a giggle as she took Ami's hands and started pulling.
"That sounds like a good memory Sarah, but please don't give Mako any ideas." Ami quietly said with a smile as she looked over at Mako, who was barely holding back her laughter.
"Oh my god Ami, I can't hold it anymore. This is hilarious!" Mako shouted as she doubled over laughing. "You and your cute butt just keep getting into trouble!" Mako shouted as she continued laughing.
"Sh-shut up Mako!" Ami yelled back as she flushed red with embarrassment.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, this is just too funny though. I hope we don't have to call the fire department again!" Mako yelled as she burst into another fit of laughter.
"Oh my god that would be awful, our first night in a new country and we have to 119 them because Ami got stuck under a bed!" Naru yelled as she also started laughing.
"Nah, I'd break the bed apart before bothering local rescue fer something this dumb. Oh and heads up ta all of yas, the emergency number in our country is 911, not 119. So if anythang happens when y're here ya call 911 okay." Sarah informed as she continued pulling on Ami.
"Okay, thanks for that bit of knowledge Sarah. As much as I want us to have a good time and just relax without incident, that's unlikely. Trouble seems to follow all of us like an imprinted animal." Usagi quietly replied with a small frown.
"Wow Usagi, I'm surprised." Rei quietly said with a small smile.
"That I can think in such a negative way. Sorry, I just have a hard time not expecting the worst anymore." Usagi replied with a small frown.
"Oh it's not that Usagi, I don't blame you for expecting the worst of the world. I'm just impressed that you know what the word imprinted means." Rei said with a grin.
"You're so cruel to me." Usagi quietly said with a small pout.
"That's my charm though, and don't you try and deny it." Rei replied with a chuckle.
"Alright I can't get her out, one of y'all wanna try? I'd prefer ta keep the fire department out of this one. I'm still embarrassed from the last time they had ta come here." Sarah asked with a small breath as she let go of Ami's hands.
"Was that for poo pond?" Kaede asked with a chuckle.
"Yep, and I don't feel much like reliving that one. So any of y'all got an idea?" Sarah asked as she looked around the room.
"You're pretty small Naru, maybe you can get under and just give her a push." Usagi suggested as she looked at Naru.
"I'm small but not that small Usagi, I think the only person who could get under there and back out again on their own would be a small child." Naru replied with a straight face.
"Maybe like a small pink haired gal." Sarah suggested with a smile.
"Sarah you're a genius! I'll go get Chibiusa real quick." Usagi replied with a gleeful expression as she turned to leave the room.
"Usagi wait! Remember that I'm not...clothed." Ami quickly reminded with a blush.
"Chibiusa won't mind Ami, she's seen me o'natural plenty enough. She'll be fine." Usagi replied as she left the room.
"Oh my god. I'm soooo embarrassed, I can't believe this happened again! God my butt's gotten big since the fight with Galaxia." Ami quietly sighed as she rested her head on her arms.
"Don't feel bad Ami, I'm gonna tell you a secret okay." Kaede quietly said as she sat down by Ami.
"What is it Kaede?" Ami asked as she looked at Kaede.
"I haven't been working out really at all since we got back, I was so depressed after everything that happened with Sasha that I kind of let my routine go a bit. So I put on some weight to Ami." Kaede informed with a smile.
"You look exactly the same to me." Ami replied with a small frown.
"I may look the same, but poke my belly and tell me that." Kaede said with a smile as she lifted her shirt up a little.
"Okay." Ami replied in a skeptical tone as she pressed her finger into Kaede's stomach. "There's nothing, it just feels like a small layer of skin. Poking mine's like poking a marshmallow or a wad of foam." Ami grumbled as she squeezed her doughy side.
"I use to have a six pack Ami, you can't even see my ab muscles anymore. I may not look all that different, but I gained weight to. It would've shown more if I hadn't had as much muscle there as I did." Kaede explained with a small smile.
"Besides Ami, you look great the way you are now. I like how you feel in my arms when I hug or hold you, that doughiness makes me feel comfortable and safe. Remember Ami, we don't care how you look, we just care that you're here." Mako said with a smile as she laid down and nuzzled her cheek against Amis.
"Oh Mako. What did I ever do to deserve such a sweet and loving girlfriend? I love you so much Mako, I never have to feel self conscious or inferior to you. My precious lighting bug." Ami quietly said as she nuzzled Mako back.
"My sweet little blueberry. I'll always love you no matter what, because you mean more to me than life itself." Mako quietly replied as she gave Ami a kiss on her forehead.
"You mean that much to me and more Mako." Ami quietly replied with a content sigh.
"I'm back, and I brought a friend." Usagi said with a smile as she and Chibiusa poked their heads in the door.
"Hi Ami. Usagi told me you're in kind of a tight spot." Chibiusa giggled as she skipped over to Ami.
"That's an understatement." Ami grumbled as she jerked herself forwards to visualize her point.
"Don't worry Ami, ya ain't gonna be there ferever." Sarah said with a smile as she patted Ami's back.
"Thanks. I might not live to get out though, I'm gonna die of embarrassment if anyone else sees this." Ami said with a sigh as she rested her head in her arms.
"You look like a sad puppy the way you're laying." Naru chuckled as she poked Ami's cheek. "Pep up Ami, we'll get you out." Naru reassured with a smile as she tousled Ami's hair.
"Well at least things can't get any worse. If this is the worst thing to happen to me on vacation I can live with it." Ami said with a smile as she watched Chibiusa crawl under the bed.
"That's the spirit Ami!" Chibiusa yelled as she gave Ami a hard shove forwards. "Your butt's squishy Ami, it reminds me of pudding!" Chibiusa chuckled as she gave Ami another firm push.
"It's that bad?" Ami quietly asked with a blush.
"That's rude to say things like that Chibiusa, especially to your friends." Usagi scolded as she looked under the bed at Chibiusa.
"Sorry Usagi, I meant it as a good thing. Pudding's the best!" Chibiusa yelled with a smile as she pushed on Ami again. "You know I can't do it all on my own right, I'm only four!" Chibiusa yelled as she kept pushing.
"You're nine-hundred and four actually. So you're plenty old enough to do this alone." Usagi chuckled as she sat in front of Ami.
"You suck Usagi, that's mean to me and Ami. She'll never get out if I have to do all the work!" Chibiusa yelled back in a crabby tone.
"She has a point Usagi. Don't worry Chibiusa, you just keep pushing and I'll give her a pull!" Naru yelled back as she held her hands out to Ami. "Come on Ami, let's get you out of there and then get to bed." Naru said with a smile.
"Thank you Naru, I can't believe this happened again. I feel so fat." Ami mumbled as she grabbed Naru's hands.
"You are not fat Ami, the fact that you got under there to begin with is proof of that." Naru replied with a smile as she started pulling.
"Yeah Ami, Usagi's bubble butt never would've made it under here!" Chibiusa said with a smirk.
"Bubble butt?! Oh you're lucky you're under there Chibiusa, or else I'd sit on you with my bubble butt!" Usagi snipped, putting air quotes around the phrase bubble butt.
"You'd have to catch me first bubble butt!" Chibiusa yelled back with a laugh.
"That's it, when you get out of there I'm gonna..." Usagi started yelling, until Naru snapped at both of them.
"Enough you two! Focus on getting Ami out. Chibiusa show some respect to your mother, and as for you Usagi, grow up! You are not sitting on our daughter!" Naru yelled as she glared at Usagi.
"Yes Naru." Usagi and Chibiusa both said with a pout.
"Well we know who's gonna wear the pants in that family." Minako chuckled.
"Darn right I am, and don't you two forget it!" Naru shouted as she pulled Ami out from under the bed.
"Thank you everyone." Ami quietly thanked as she looked at her butt. "I can't believe how big this thing's gotten." Ami mumbled as she poked her butt a little.
"I can't believe how much you care. So your butt finally came in, I thought you didn't want to have a flat butt anymore." Naru replied with a grin as she patted Ami's butt.
"I didn't wanna have a fat one though either." Ami quietly replied with a frown.
"That ain't a fat butt, that's normal Ami. Y're a young woman and y're suppose ta have a shapely bottom." Sarah informed with a smile.
"Besides Ami, now I have something to hold on a cold night." Mako giggled as she squeezed Ami's butt.
"MAKO!" Ami yelped as she jumped to her feet and put her hands over her butt.
"She has a point Ami, Usagi's gonna be cold because I have nothing to hold back there." Naru giggled as she helped Chibiusa out from under the bed.
"Don't worry Naru, with the way Usagi eats she'll have enough butt for both of you." Chibiusa laughed as she pointed at Usagi.
"Chibiusa!" Usagi growled as she clenched her fists in anger.
"You should be nicer to Usagi Chibiusa, after all she is the reason you exist." Ami said with a smile as she looked over at Usagi, who was practically seething with rage.
"Plus she's been through a lot Chibiusa, she needs support from you, not criticism." Rei informed with a small frown.
"I'm sorry Rei, I thought I was suppose to make things here as normal as possible." Chibiusa apologized with a small frown.
"You are Chibiusa, but try and dial the picking back a bit. Usagi's still a little unstable after everything." Naru quietly informed with a small frown.
"Okay. I'm sorry Usagi, I didn't mean to upset you. I just wanna make things seem normal for you." Chibiusa quietly apologized as she hugged Usagi.
"I understand Chibiusa, thanks for the apology though. You must get this side from your dad." Usagi said with a chuckle as she hugged Chibiusa back.
"No, I think I get this part from you mom." Chibiusa quietly replied as she snuggled against Usagi.
"That's so sweet Chibiusa, but maybe you get it from your adopted mommy." Usagi giggled as she held her arm out to Naru.
"I doubt it, she literally didn't get anything from me." Naru chuckled as she hugged Usagi and Chibiusa.
"She will Naru, just wait." Usagi quietly said as she held Naru and Chibiusa close.
"We should get to bed before another dumb thing like the bed incident happens." Rei said with a smile.
"Agreed. let's get to sleep everyone. Are you gonna sleep in here with us Chibiusa?" Usagi asked with a smile.
"Yeah, I'm gonna sleep with my mommies." Chibiusa replied with a smile.
"That's our little girl." Naru quietly replied as she gently poked Chibiusa on the nose. "What took you so long to come up here by the way, you missed our pillow fight?" Naru asked with a smile.
"You all sounded like you were enjoying yourselves, so I went to talk to Shingo for a bit. We had a little pillow fight of our own." Chibiusa answered with a smile as she laid down.
"I'm glad you and Shingo had some fun together Chibiusa, I want you to have a good relationship with your uncle Shingo." Usagi said with a small yawn as she and Naru laid down on either side of Chibiusa.
"I do to." Chibiusa quietly replied as she started to close her eyes.
"Let's get some sleep Usagi." Naru quietly said as she pulled a blanket over the three of them.
"Goodnight everyone." Mako quietly said as she laid down on the carpet.
"Ya know I got blankets and pillows right? Ya don't gotta just plop down on the floor there Mako." Sarah informed with a smile.
"Plus aren't you gonna get your pjs on sis?" Kaede asked as she finished getting dressed.
"Oh yeah." Mako mumbled as she crawled over to her bag and dug her pajamas out of it. "There." Mako mumbled as she laid the pajamas on top of herself.
"Am I gonna have to dress you?" Ami chuckled as she finished getting her own pajamas on.
"Mhm." Mako mumbled as she closed her eyes.
"I wonder if some of that sedative is still in your system." Ami quietly said as she pulled Mako's sleep shorts over her legs and up her butt, then sat her up and slipped a tank top over her.
"Maybe." Mako mumbled as Ami gently laid her head on a pillow.
"Goodnight Mako." Ami quietly said as she laid down next to Mako and gave her a kiss goodnight.
"Night Ami." Mako quietly replied as she fell asleep.
"Goodnight everyone." Usagi quietly said as she, Naru, and Chibiusa all snuggled together for the night.
"Night Usagi." Rei whispered as her and Minako laid down and closed their eyes.
"Goodnight darling, see ya in the morning." Sarah quietly said as she gave Kaede a kiss and wrapped an arm around her.
"Goodnight Sarah, I love you." Kaede quietly said as she drifted off to sleep.
"I love ya to Kaede." Sarah whispered as she fell asleep with Kaede in her arms.
