Ruby stood ready before Cesar charged at her. She quickly jumps to the side as he punches the ground. Ruby waste no time in firing her weapon, forcing Cesar to block her shots. Ruby then ran forward before jumping over him, shooting as she did. Ruby landed behind before firing another shot, hitting him from behind. Cesar was knocked away and Ruby turned to the Schnee Family.

"Go! I'll keep him busy!" She said.

Mr. Schnee look ready to say something, but Weiss had enough.

"Move it, old man!" She shouted, pushing him out the door.

Whitley did his best to help his mother and Mrs. Schnee nods in thanks toward her. Cesar recovers and turns to Ruby. Ruby stood ready before switching her weapon into its scythe mood.

"What are you? Some kind of Grimm Reaper?" He asked.

"You could say that." Ruby smiles before dashing forward.

Cesar tried to fire at her but was shocked to see her dodge each one with ease.

'How did she?' He thought before jumping back from the scythe swing.

Ruby spun around with the scythe, forcing Cresar to dodge each swing. Ruby smiles before swinging the scythe down, just missing him. Cesar looked confused before seeing that Ruby was smirking.

"Bang." She said.

Cesar was surprised to feel himself get shot, knocking him back into a wall. Ruby smirks again when she found that her new upgrade to her weapon worked! It wasn't as strong as its gun mood, but it was a nice little trick that could catch many Mavericks off-guard.

Cesar push himself off the floor, noticing that he had a small hole in his chest. He yells before raising his fists and slamming the floor, causing the whole thing to crack before breaking. Ruby screams as she fell, having not excepting him to do that. She landed on the floor below and groaned.

"Wasn't excepting that." She said, pulling herself up.

She was then grabbed by her face and slammed on the floor as she grabs the arm.

"Did you really think you'll stop me?! The only person I wanted was Jacques Schnee! And you let him get away!" He said, squeezing her head.

Ruby tries to fight the pain, but Cesar didn't let up. Suddenly, a loud slash was heard and Cesar flinches. On his back was a huge cut that exposed his wines and part of his robotic skeleton. He looks behind him to see Weiss holding the scythe, tears in her eyes.

"Weiss..." He said, surprised.

"Stop it! You can't do this! This is not the Cesar I know!" She shouted, trying not to cry.

Cesar looks at her before letting go of Ruby's head. He turns and looks at Weiss. Weiss kept a grip on the scythe, knowing her friend was now a maverick. Cesar sighs before slapping Weiss away. Weiss was shocked as she drops the scythe. She landed on the ground, still shocked at what happened.

"I held back. But I need you to stay out of my way, Weiss." He said, walking up to her.

Weiss lay there, trying her hardest not to cry as the tears started pouring down her face. Cesar reached her before sighing.

"I guess I have no choice. I'm sorry, Weiss." He said, aiming his blast at her.

Before he could fire a blaster appeared next to his face. He turns to see Winter standing next to him, an angry look on her face.

"Stay away from my sister, you Maverick." She said and fired.

Cesar's face was blown off and his body fell to the ground. Winter sighs, knowing that this reploid was one of Weiss's few friends inside the company. She turns to see her sister starting to sob, knowing how much pain she was in. And not just from the slap she just got. She got on her knees before pulling her little sister into a hug.

Ruby was back on her feet and grabbed her scythe before turning it back into its gun mood. Once she puts it away, she decides to leave them be. The Mavericks have been dealt with and there was no point in staying here.

"Hold it!"

Ruby stops before looking back to see that Winter was aiming her blaster at her.

"You're neither a Maverick Hunter nor a GRIMM Soldier. Who are you!?" She asked, ready to fire if she had to.

"I'm just trying to help," Ruby said, holding up her hands.

"Let her go, Winter."

Winter looks at her sister, her face still covered by the shadow of her hair.

"Weiss..." Winter said, confused.

"She saved us. Let her go, please." Weiss said as a few more tears came down her face.

Winter frowns before sighing. She pulls her blaster up before looking away.

"Go. Before I change my mind." She told Ruby.

Ruby nodded before turning around and running towards the backstairs of the company. Once she was gone, Winter comfort her sister, knowing this will take some time to recover from.

Zero appeared near the company after saving X from Vile. He was about to look for the whereabouts of Sigma's Fortress when he got the alert that Mavericks was attacking the Schnee's company. When he got there, all the Mavericks were defeated and the Schnee Family was safe, though Mrs. Schnee was being taken to the hospital to get some stitches for injuries. He then spots Gearnal Ironwood, who notices him.

"I was wondering when a Maverick Hunter will show up." He said as Zero walked up to him.

"A little deal with a Maverick problem of my own. What happened here?" Zero said then asked.

The Maverick Hunters and the GRIMM Forces were not on friendly terms. However, they both agreed that they share a command enemy with the Mavericks and are under a truce.

"We were on our way back from our own mission when we heard the news of the Schnee Company was under attack. The company put up a good fight, but there were far more Mavericks here, due to most of them being former employees here." Ironwood said.

"Guess they finally had enough of the guy that ran this place. Sigma's speech must have given them a reason to take action." Zero said.

"You say that like it's a good thing," Winter said, walking up.

"Hardly, Sigma is a Maverick now. He just attacked the Highway not long ago. My partner, X, was clearing the place up when I go there." Zero explain.

"Any loss of life?" Ironwood asked.

"Other than a few damaged vehicles? Not that I know of." Zero said.

"A few soldiers were injured, but all the workers are alive and counted for," Ironwood said.

"My mother was hurt." Winter corrected.

"And she's being cared for," Ironwood said.

Zero nodded, glad that things were okay here.

"YOU!"

Zero sighs as Jacques stomps up to him.

"You Reploids have damaged my company!" He shouted.

"YOUR COMPANY!?" Winter shouted, grabbing her father's shoulder.

"You were never a Schnee! My grandfather built this company for humans and Reploids alike! Mom is the real Schnee of the Company!" She said.

"Don't you talk back to me..." Jacques started before Ironwood stops them.

"That's enough. Jacques, you were warned about mistreating the Reploids, multiple times! Yes, this new Maverick rally them up, but they mostly attack the company because of your treatment." Ironwood told him.

"EXCUSE ME?!" Jacques shouted.

"You're ignoring the fact that they feel, think, and made their own decisions! You treat them like they are nothing more than normal stupid robots is just asking for them to turn against you!" Winter shouted.

Zero sighs before he notices Weiss, sitting by herself. She looked like she's been crying as she wraps the blanket around her.

"Hey, are you okay?" He asked, walking up to her.

"No...I'm not." Weiss said, not looking up.

Zero bends down, seeing she wasn't hurt.

"What's the matter?" He asked, again.

"One of the mavericks was my friend. His name was Cesar. He was a newly hired employee. He was trying to bring down my father in a non-maverick way, but he wanted to go so far as hurt the rest of us. Winter had to offline him. He was my friend...maybe more." Weiss said.

Zero sighs. He understood her feelings. He lost friends to the Mavericks as well. He places a hand on her shoulder, hoping to calm her down.

"Don't worry, I won't stop until I destroy the Maverick that did this," Zero said, making Weiss look at him.

Zero was then shocked when she hugged him. Zero then carefully hugged her back, knowing she was trying to feel better.

"Get your hands off my daughter, you stupid robot!"

Weiss finally had enough of her father's treatment of the Reploids. She broke the hug and stomps up to him, putting on the angriest face she had.

"THAT'S ENOUGH!" She shouted, surprising everyone with how loud she was.

"Weiss?" Winter said, never seeing her sister this mad.

"You always treated Reploid like they're not people just because you never like robots! I had enough of it! I'm tired of your treatment of them. I'm tired of your treatment of me! You never treated any of us like family! The only reason you married our mother was to have control of the Company! Well, guess what?! It ends today! The company is no longer yours!" She said.

"What did you say?!" Jacques said, glaring.

"We all agreed on it, me, mother, Winter, Whitney. We all decide that we taking you out of the family name!" Weiss said.

"YOU WHAT?!" Jacques shouted, shocked.

"It's true. This was the last straw." Winter said.

"You can't be serious! I own the company!" Jacques shouted.

"Not anymore," Winter said, nodding at the two soldiers.

The soldiers walked up and grabs Jacques by the arms.

"Let go of me! Do you have any idea who I am?!" He shouted but was carried away.

Zero watched and shook his head. He was about to leave when he heard Weiss speak up.

"Now if I could only find that girl that save us and thanked her."

"Girl?" He asked, confused.

"Yes, it wasn't the GRIMM Force nor the Schnee Soldiers that stopped them. It was this human girl wearing red and black armor, carrying around a giant scythe." Weiss said, making Zero think.

"I would have brought her in, but Weiss ask me to let her go." Winter sighs, causing Ironwood to look at her.

"Do you know anything else about her?" Zero asked.

"Well, her hair was black with red highlights and sliver eyes," Weiss said, remembering how close she was to them.

"Sliver eyes?" Zero said, thinking.

There were two people he knew that had that kind of eyes. He'll have to look it up back at base.

"I'll keep an eye out for her." He said, nodding.

With that, Zero teleported away, leaving Weiss thinking about the girl that saved them.

Ruby's Home,

Ruby made it home and took off her armor. She grabs her weapon before setting it on the table. She then heads to her bathroom and washes her face before hopping in the shower. She steps out a few minutes later and got dressed. She heads to the living room, sighing.

"Well, that was tough. I'm glad that my lessons worked." She said, seeing the news cover the attack on the highway.

She was surprised to see X fighting off the mavericks on the bridge and doing a fine job on his own. Ruby smiles, glad to know that he was doing what he could to keep others safe. She was still hoping to join the Maverick Hunters one day. But she was stuck with this boring life. She heard her phone ringing, knowing it was her boss from her job. She didn't bother to answer. She already knew what it was about.

Ruby yawns, feeling a bit tired. Maybe a quick nap won't hurt. Ruby close her eyes and soon drift off to sleep, dreaming about being a Maverick Hunter.

Elsewhere,

"Hey, did you hear? Schnee Company was attacked by Mavericks."

"You're kidding. Are you sure it wasn't one of our other factions?"

"No man, it was the Reploids that worked there!"

"What?! They finally turned on them, huh?"

"Yeah, but here's the strangest part, it was a human that stop them!"

"A human?! Now you have to be pulling my leg!"

A lonely girl listens to the two men talking, a bit surprised that a human stopped a Maverick Attack. And to think that this new Maverick wants his kind to raise against the humans. However, she had no plans on doing so, let alone hurt them. Even since her father steps down as leader, everything has been much different. At first, she didn't mind. But it was starting to become more and more dangerous.

She sighs before tightening her bow. She had to leave before it was too late. She walked past a few other members that didn't even look her way. She walks until she found the front door and notices the guard sleeping. Looks like those pills worked. She could slip out and give the plans to...

She shook her head, she can't get distracted. She walks out the doors as the alarm sounded. It looks like they discover their missing plans. Oh well. She walks out and pulls off her mask. She tossed it away before running into the forest, wanting to get as far as she could. She was no longer part of the White Fang, she was a rouge agent, striking out on her own.

"BLAKE!"

Meanwhile,

Raven stomps into the bar, finding her younger twin drinking, as always.

"Qrow!" She shouted, making him look up.

"Hey, Raven, want a drink?" He asked, holding up a cup.

"Where is she?" Raven asked, glaring.

"Where's who?" Qrow asked, confused.

"YANG! Where is Yang?!" She asked, angry.

"Oh. Sorry, sis, but I didn't see her today," Qrow said, taking a drink.

"Besides, she's your daughter. Should you be keeping an eye on her?" He added.

"I swear I don't know who she takes after, you and that Tai." Raven groans.

"You're the one that fell in love, not me," Qrow said.

Raven groans as she stomps out of the bar.

Little did she know, a girl with long blonde hair with a bag on her back was walking away from the town. She had enough of her life as a thief and wanted something more exciting. She looks back, knowing her mother was looking for her.

"Sorry, mom, Uncle Qrow, but I need to find my own path." She said and kept walking.

And I think here's a good place to stop. I cover the fight with Ruby and Cesar, which is Ruby's first time fighting against a Maverick, that use to be Weiss's friend. Of course, I cover the aftermath and how Weiss felt someone she called a friend, turn on her. And the fact she was tired of her father's treatment of everyone. I know I didn't cover much about Blake and Yang, but I wanted to get them in at some point. I'll try to cover them more later. And yes, Ruby and X will meet again. I going to have Ruby join X during the fight against the eight Mavericks. Here's a question for you, if you played Mega Man X, what order did you go in?
