I am duty bound to inform you, that it was Peter Pettigrew, the person who was always the cowardly and odd one among the Marauders. You can verify this fact by using your considerable legilimency skills on Sirius Black, who may be found in Azkaban for the next 13 years, as you did with Honeky the House-elf and Morfin Gaunt.
