It has been a long time! hello guys!
I have decided to redo this entire fic and I will be deleting the former chapters.
Anyway, I have decided that our MC will have a harem, lol. Not like he needs or wants one. Anyway, here is the new start of As expected, living in a world with Gods is hard. I hope you all enjoy.
Ainz Wallenstein had a habit. Many members of the Loki Familia knew of this, and they accepted it. Strangely enough, she had often said that she does this to remember a person she was close to.
It all started when she used her wind magic. Her mentor, Riveria, noticed how the young girl nervously rubbed her thumb on her finger. An act mostly used to calm herself.
Many who eat with her noticed how she would eagerly look to the side after eating something new before looking at the meal—savoring each bite after she did so. She loved listening to countless stories and reading some books, displaying a fantastic amount of knowledge lost through time.
Riveria knew her ward had a habit. The young girl would frequently be in a daze and end up asking her to read her stories. Each one makes her feel relaxed.
Loki knew her rising star had a habit. She saw how the young girl moved with a knife that looked like she was copying someone. While small, it fascinated her how Ainz had many memories locked away by her brain and whenever she fished for information, the young girl would find ways to deflect them.
Finn Deimme watched the young girl with a kind smile. Happy to see her acting like a girl should, so glad to see she had someone to help her, unlike him. He often worries about the things the young girl hid from them as he could see that she constantly got reminded of her time with her parents.
Ainz Wallenstein has a secret. She hated one thing in this entire world. The monster that destroyed her family, one that killed her father and abducted her mother. She hated that monster to the point of trying to destroy herself. She loves her new family a lot, she just wished...
Pulling out a small yarn around her neck, the young woman held the wooden cross pendant in her hand.
For years, she let her rage guide her motivations, ignoring the words he gave her before they got separated from each other. To live and let the world be, not to let her hate control her. Through the years, she had changed a lot and wondered... if chasing the dragon would be worth it.
Hiding the necklace under her clothes, the young girl pulled a drawer open and looked at the contents inside.
"Here, Ainz." Her uncle said with a smile. He was a young man around 20 dressed in red and black while holding a sheathed blade to her. "You're small and I know I would not always be here to help you, that's why I will teach you how to use a dagger."
Smiling, the sword princess pulled out the clothes that her uncle used to wear. Putting on the white button-up shirt under the black vest, she exchanged her skirt for a pair of black trousers tucked into a pair of leather boots. Putting on her belt and holstering her sword on it, the young woman clipped the dagger on her waist, opposite the sword. Noticing something completely missing, the young woman put on a cape over the left side of her back along with a hat that Lefiya bought for her.
Inside an old temple,
An old coffin suddenly burst open as a figure crawled out of it, smoke surrounded the entire ruin of the temple as the silhouette of a person stood up. They wore a mask with a pair of tusks under a hood alongside red and black robes with black gauntlets and greaves. Each finger on his hands has a ring on them.
Gazing at the remains of the temple, the figure raised his hand causing all torches in the area to erupt in flames as a sword appeared on his back with a blade as red as blood. A staff appeared on his left hand colored a beautiful shade of dull gold ending in a spike on one end and a dragon design on the other with several gemstones as eyes.
"Zii Kiin," The figure whispered as he looked at the exit of the temple. "Las Yah Nir!"
A familiar presence appeared in their mind and they stumbled forward. Wasting no time, the figure moved towards the exit of their temple and ignored the rubble blocking their way.
"Fus Roh Dah!" A single shout and the rubble along with a good part of the temple's exit were destroyed and flung to the sky. Seeing the moonlight for the first time, the figure's eyes widened at the sight of a nearby ruin.
"No..." The figure whispered as he removed the mask he wore, revealing long dark hair that belong to a man with dark eyes. Falling to his knees, the man dropped both his mask and staff. "I'm sorry... Albert... Aria... I failed." The moonlight illuminated his form as a steel cross with a lot of metal beads glinted alongside a cracked black screen belonging to a small metal rectangle.
What the hell?! He shouted?! Why can he shout? What are the small metal rectangle and the necklace he had?! What will happen next? Read more and find out.
Since this is a restart of my Danmachi Fic, there will be a lot of elements that might carry over. Let's just say that Ouranos is not the first one who gave something like a falna to someone else. And that there is a reason why Rakia wants to invade Orario. It might not be the best but I will try my best.
The MC will have a harem and I need some candidates... please help me pick some but no Freya, Ais, Loki, Ishtar and her familia, and especially not Hestia and Artemis.
P.S.: Some video game characters might appear.
