That was too easy. I think that Cole is getting old. thought a one-eyed prince, walking through gardens. He was becoming better and better. His posture was stronger than Aegon's, and he learned how to put his legs when there was an impact from an enemy. One day, he shall practice on of those bastards. The bastard whom his father loved more than Aemond or his siblings. He touched his scarred face without the eye, the scar sometimes itched so bad. He thought it would drive him crazy.

But my time will come. All of you shall see. You will see me and Vhagar. The Dragon of the Great Visenya Targaryen.

As he walked through the garden, he noticed an inconspicuous figure. An inconspicuous figure with a big belly. The spring rays of the sun illuminated her silver hair.

Sister

She and Aegon were expecting their first child. The whole court celebrated their mother the most. The one-eyed prince did not understand himself. He did not understand why he could not be happy that new "true" members would be added to their families. Maybe because Aegon didn't deserve their sister.

It was her duty. She was never mine.

Aemond stopped to take a closer look at Helaena. Something was flying around her. Butterflies of the spring. Their wings played with all colors. red, yellow, blue, and white. Helaena spread her arms like a dragon's wings and began to spin in a circle. She danced with them. Her childish laughter rang in the air.

Aemond didn't want to smile but he smiled.

This is so stupid.

His sister preferred to play with herself rather than with other girls. Ever since she was a child, she seemed different. His mother once told him that Helaena was born too soon. Their maesters weren't sure if she will make it. Her mother had to carry her in her arms for months. She kept wrapping her in furs and praying for her health.

Just like she does for our useless father

Because of her sensitive condition, his sister was always a lonely child. Always just her, by herself, and her bugs. Bugs, she could collect anything but they had to be bugs. And when her mother begged her to play with the other noble children, his sister could only play light games. It was usually a tag or hide and seek. His mother sometimes forced him to join. Aemond would never admit it, but he enjoyed it. He was happy when his sister laughed.

Just like now.

Aemond knew he wanted revenge for himself. For his mother, he wanted her son to be on the throne. For his sister Helaena, wanted, she would be happy. Perhaps, her child will cheer her up forever. Even if his father was Aegon. He hoped that the child would have the personality of his sister. Let the noble fools have their say.

The butterflies that floated around her reminded him of something.

His twelve-year-old sister had her hands full of caterpillars. Disgusting fat worms with hairs. He didn't understand her hobby. Why couldn't it be horses or puppies? They were crawling on her hands while she was babbling.

"What an ugly insect, sister. You should find a prettier pet for yourself."

Helaena raised her beautiful eyes to him. Some would say about her that they were too clever, and stupid. To him, they were innocent.

"They will transform. You will see. It's like magic. They will fly."

Aemond only shook his head.

He smirked with curiosity for her intellect, " You have the magic of dragons. You can fly on Dreamfyre. Go and spend some time with your dragon. Let me get rid of those,"

"No!" his sister outburst. She held these insects even closer to herself. As if they were her secret treasure. Tears welled up in her eyes.

"All right, I meant well. Keep them. What is matter with you." sighed.

"They will be my butterflies. If you touch their wings, they never fly again."

"Well, we have dragons that would, sister."

Suddenly her septa called her for lectures about being a lady and queen.

Her sister gave him a pleading look, " You.. you would take care of them right?"

Aemond wanted to say "no" so badly. He was the blood of the dragon, the rider of Vhagar, not some babysitter for her insect. Still, those sweet eyes. She looked like a kicked puppy.

"Of course, sister. Go." And so he became a nanny. But the kiss she gave him on the cheek was worth it.

Back in the present. Their eyes met. She remembered it too. He knew it. She didn't forget him.

"You were right, sister. You were right." he knew she couldn't hear him.

It didn't matter. He didn't understand himself. The most beautiful women of the court swarmed around him. He already rejected a hundred marriage proposals. Sure, he visited brothels, but they were whores. They meant nothing. It was just a need of the body. His heart was not in his body.

You have all of my heart, my innocent bug.

He watched her twist in a swirl of butterflies. But suddenly she leaned forward. Her scream filled the garden. Aemond didn't realize that he was running until was with her. By her side. His arms wrapped around her from behind.

"Helaene, what is wrong?"

She answered him with a sob. The liquid was running down her legs," Baby. Aemond, my baby is coming!"

Without hearing more, he immediately lifted her into his arms. He carried her to the castle, shouting at the guards who wanted to take her from his hands.

"There is no time! Go get the maesters! Now!" His sister was sobbing with pain in his chest. He stroked her head with his free hand.

"You will be alright. Everything is going to be fine, Helaena."

Soon, their mother was by their side. So was his foolish brother Aegon.

"Please could you all just calm down? She is not the first woman who gives birth. There is nothing extraordinary about that." said his useless brother with a drunken voice.

Aemond could hear, their mother smacking him across the face. The sound of the slap echoed throughout the hall. Just like their mother's furious scream.

I don't tell you this too often. But, I love you so much, mother.

After revenge with Blood and Cheese...

Years, later after that night.

After he made them pay for his eye, by killing Lucerys. Everything started with a long roar of pain. His snake of uncle Daemon Targaryen used his cowardly move to punish him and his brother. By destroying their sister. With her son, part of his sister died too. She was sitting in the room, but she was so far away from him. Her body was there, her spirit was gone.

Helaena loved her children more than Aegon. And they made her do that choice. The choice completely breaks her mind. Her sister screamed for hours. Then when she finally calmed down, she was too calm. Aemond slammed his hand against the wall.

His sister was drowning, but he couldn't jump for her. He couldn't pull her out of the abyss. He was helpless. The night Aegon got drunk, he was conscious. They tried with his mother. They tried very hard. They brought her the best meals. The most beautiful flowers. Nothing worked. Helaena didn't want to see her younger son anymore.

One night she was quiet, and he brought her spiders.

"You loved them, do you remember?"

Her face was so pale. As if she had been dead for a long time. Still, she nodded.

"Those bugs were your best friends. She spent hours with them. Mother was afraid that you would stay like this."

She again nodded. But something was missing in her eyes. Her innocence was gone. Like the wings of a butterfly, when you touch them.

"I remember when you were dancing with butterflies. You were right about their magic. I was just a stupid brat. You were always the smartest of us, sister."

One spider passed from his hand to hers. One of his legs wrapped around her finger. Like a wedding ring. If only.

His sister approached him for the first time. She placed one hand on his cheek and kissed his forehead. He closed his eyes. Her lips were so dry. She refused to eat and drink. They had to force her.

"Helaena, please. Say something. You can blame me, you can hate. But please, say something."

She pulled back and looked him in the eye. They were empty. He didn't have one eye, but she was like blind.

Where are you, my love? Come back to me. Please. I can give you more children. I'll give you anything. Just go back to the land of the living.

She opened her mouth. Suddenly she looked at the butter knife on the table. Then on his head. She started screaming. Just like when her son died.

"No! No!" sounded her plead to the gods. She started tearing her hair.

"Helaena, what happened?" he asked trying to stop her. However, mother has already arrived.

"Aemond, go. You cant help her now." He looked one last time at his sister, in their mother's embrace. She screamed into her shoulder.

That was the last time he saw her. From that time on, she rejected him as she rejected her surviving son, whom she sent to die.

Then one night, her life ended. He wasn't there when it happened. He would stop her.

She walked slowly to the window. Helaena looked down. Her brothers were gone, her half-sister ordered their death.

If they survive. They can have new children. With healthy women who desire them. Aemond would be a good father. I know it. Everyone would be happier without me. I couldn't save my sons. Unless he drinks himself to death, the memory of her sons will fade for Aegon. She wouldn't blame him for that. Nor her Aemond. He was her only true friend. He tried to help her. She never blamed him.

He always kissed her fingertips when she caressed him. For others he was the new Visenya, for her he was a prince from a fairy tale. But he couldn't take away her pain. No one could.

Sitting on the window, she thought of the butterflies he protected for her. Spring butterflies that they will not see again. She saw his death.

A sword and so much water... Aemond will have a watery grave.

Helaena didn't want to hear the news of his death. Her heart couldn't take it. Maybe she was being selfish.

One of her feet slipped on the frame. At first, she was scared, but the fear quickly disappeared. After that, she thought only of her sons.

Jaehaerys and Maelor. Oh, yes she could see them. Her baby boys were holding their hands. The stars were their beautiful eyes.

They are waiting for me! Maelor waves to me. He forgave me. Oh, I know it. I will join them and then wait for Aemond. He will return to me in the stars. We are dragons.

She bounced off the window frame and flew.

No, he refused to believe that she had done it.

She wouldn't leave her mother. She wouldn't leave him. Helaena was still a mother. She had her daughter to look after. He threw the man who told him about it, out of the window. Vhagar ate his deceitful flesh for breakfast. Traitors lied to desecrate her memory. It was a lie. His sister did not take her own life. He bowed his head and cried out his anger and sorrow to the sky. Vhagar joined him. Just like Dreamfyre in Kingslanding where his love died. He should have been there. He should have fought harder. He should have...

He felt her hand on his cheek. Her lips were on his forehead. And her eyes knew all main of this world. The body of the woman, he loved. Her body was butchered on the streets from her fall.

He claimed the most powerful dragon of the time. but he didn't claim the woman of his dreams. He should have told mother. He should... Then, they could.

A furious scream sounded through the castle. A chair flew through the room. Then table. All his grief turned into hatred.

"My love, that bitch!" It was Rhaenyra. He knew it. She killed her, just like she killed her sister's sons. It was all her fault. And his fathers. And uncles. But he would make them pay.

She was my butterfly.

After the death of her sons, her wings were damaged.

He summoned Vhagar to him. He couldn't cry. Aemond mounted his dragon and rose to the clouds.

"They killed her. It is their fault that she is gone!" He never felt more alone.

But the end of his journey will be justice for Helaena, or his death. There was no other option. Not for him, never.
