Murky Water

Murky Water

I sleep

Asleep a thousand years or more

Forever looking over the bay

In my eternal slumber

But now…

Trouble brews.

The once crystal-clear waters

Are now murky as mud

While at the same time,

Once cool and refreshing

Now warm and untasteful

And then I sense,

The innocent scream that cuts the silent night,

While over motorboats roar

An evil laugh fades away.

And now I feel the courage of the one

Who plays he role,

To aid the hero

And then, what I feared,

The heroic blood spreads through the sea…

Zoran blood.

And now

The chosen one comes

And the healing melody echoes over the bay

I feel infinite courage,

It spreads over the water;

Gerudo Fortress, Pinnacle Rock, and lastly to Zora Cape…

Then…

My age-old ears pick up the song…

And I rise.

The child latches to my back,

And I play my role in the legend…
