I shall rise again
A poem with no rhythm whatsoever by: Mark

I am not dead
I shall one day return from my slumber
And I will finally reclaim what is rightfully mine

You have tried to stop me before but I have always triumphed
All of your missiles and bullets are useless
Nothing can stop me
Not even that volcano

You thought I had died in that fiery abyss
But you would be wrong
The lava burnt my skin and the heat was almost unbearable
I even began to think I was doomed
But I prevailed
You will have to try harder to rid me from my world

This world is mine
It does not belong to your little race
Others like me were here long before
I shall have what I want
And none of you will stop me

I don't know why all of you hate me
I am only doing what was my natural given right
Japan was my home before you came
And I want it back

You say that I have destroyed your city
But you have destroyed this world
It and I was here before you came and polluted it
And I will be here until it decides to go
I just rid yourself of buildings
But you rid this planet of its soul

But soon I shall rise again
Once earth decides it is right
Believe not of those false others
I am the only one
And the last of my kind
But soon mother earth shall make more
And we will once again rule

I am waiting for the right time
And I can feel the earth calling my name
Soon I shall rise from my watery abode
And once again try to reclaim my home
That you have named Japan

I do not mean you personal harm
We can both live together
I have saved you humans many times
From rogue creatures that came from my time
But then you turned on me
And you killed my son
And that I can not forgive

I shall rise again
For it is my destiny
To once again clear my home
From those who wish to poison it

You have not stopped me
For I cannot be stopped
Build your robots
Launch your missiles
Fire your bullets
Nothing will stop me

FOR I AM GODZILLA!
