Don't Speak

By: Aeris. I wrote this because I'm in a bad mood because I hate my horrible computer. I never wrote a song fic so don't laugh *too much* I don't own the song of the characters so don't sue me. Okay that's all don't throw rocks at me.

You and me,

We used to be together,

Every day together always

There he sat it was rather pitiful; he supported his face with his large hands. It was a sad sight the poor boy had been though a lot the last year, a Knight-Master with a though as wicked as his, a 21 year old and only a third year squire. Now to come home a find this out, his best friend was with some other guy. Not just any guy, Cleon. Honestly he leaves for a year or so and he missed out on her.

I really feel

That I'm loosing my best friend

And I can't believe

This could be the end

"Neal." Kel said as she looked at her Squire friend. "What's wrong?" Neal moaned as he looked aside. "Neal, come on tell me."

"No." He said fatly, Kel gave him a blank face, Neal sighed. "I just seen the error on my ways."

"Who is she?" Kel questioned, she knew that face, he gave that face when he decided that the new girl he loved was not for him, but he still loved her. That is Neal. He murmured something about cows, Cleon, and his bad luck and stormed away.

"What's with him?" Merric asked Kel but all she gave was her Yamani face and sighed.

It looks as though you're letting go

And if it's real, well I don't want to know

Neal hit a tree and swore he heard it say something but shock it off. The Lioness looked from a distance at her squire and wondered what he was so upset about. Normally if he was angry with someone he'd just say some rude comment and shrugged it off. "What in Mitros is wrong with your Squire?" Raoul asked as he came from behind Alanna.

"I don't know," she said as she turned and left, Raoul at foot.

Don't speak

I know just what you're saying

So please stop explaining

Don't tell me 'cause it hurts

Neal stopped as he walked back to his tent that night. He knew it and they didn't even say anything. There they were kissing right there in middle of an open forest. Sure there were trees and sure Neal knew they didn't know he was there--until he stepped on a branch that is.

"Neal!" Kel's eyes went wide with surprise, and saw he tall friend fight the tears in his eyes as he turned around.

Don't speak

I know what you're thinking

I don't need your reasons

Don't tell me 'cause it hurts

Cleon never understood what was happening; just that he knew things would never be the same. He knew that his friend would never really be his friend again and he knew why. Neal was in love with Kel. Kel and Cleon watched as Neal went, head hanging down in shame and sadness, to his tent.

Our memories

They can be inviting

But some are altogether

Mighty frightening

Kel ran after her friend and put her hand on his shoulder and said, "Neal, is this what the problem is? Me and Cleon?" Never had she meant to hurt him but she did and he scowled and went off. "Neal," Kel called repeatedly and wished she could have her friend back.

"Just give him time Kel." Cleon told her as he put his arm around her shoulder and let her cry into his tunic.

As we die, both you and I

With my head in my hands

I sit and cry

And there he sat again on his cot in his tent with his head in his hands and cried. But he cursed his own self for doing so. It was his fault he waited so long. She didn't love him she loved Cleon. A new day will come, a new love will come, he told himself. Though he was never really sure if he could replace her, his love.

It's all ending

I gotta stop pretending who we are...

You and me

I can see us dying ... are we?

So, I wrote my first TP fic and Song Fic all in one! It's kind of sad, now that I read it. But R&R please!
