Image of "God"

You said that I would break like a clock wound backwards
That I was only created because you wished it so,
But I am only what you made me to be
And you made me in your image.

You were God to me,
But not in a standard sense.
In that you weren't immortal
And you didn't create the universe
And you weren't a wise, benevolent loving, father figure,
Believe me, Father, I should know.

But if by God,
They mean omnipotent, all-seeing and all-knowing,
Then that you are.
You played at being God,
And you made me in your image.

Even after you death,
You did all you could to dictate my life.
You were always there,
Haunting me from the back of my mind.

Out of Hell.
Hell where you are,
Hell where you would send me.
"You are after all," he said,
"only what I made you to be."

You played at being God
You made me in your image.
But you are not God Father,
And I am not you.

A/N: This is a Draco poem in case you hadn't guessed. It's hardly my own work, give the credit to Cassandra Claire for her Draco Sinister: Mattress Of Wire and to Nosilla for Made in the Image of God. A tiny bit is my work but it was mostly a collaboration of their stories. R/R please.
