All right people, I was bored, and I thought of this cute idea. It takes place in second year, Christmas. You'll remember that Dumbledore didn't get what he really wanted last year…

Albus Dumbledore sighed, but smiled. He loved receiving books, and things like that, but he was a (semi) normal person, who liked normal presents. Don't consider him ungrateful! Because he wasn't. He was completely honored that people even considered him to be a wise person, because he didn't feel like one, but that just might be him.

He paused at a small redheaded girl looking back and forth down the almost empty corridor.  Most of the students would just about be in their common rooms at this time, but not this one.

"Lost, Miss Weasley?" he asked smiling at the girl, who blushed furiously, embarrassed to be lost in her own school. She nodded.

"Just head that way, towards the Eastern stairway. Go up and head on straight from there," he told her.

"Thank you, Professor," she replied, and followed his lead. Dumbledore smiled once again, and continued along his way. He loved helping new students. You see, he always felt that the world needed to be taught so much, and he liked teaching it some of these things. But he always felt he hadn't finished his job, and that he never would. This he didn't mind.

He reached the gargoyle statue. "Snickle-fritz," he said, and the statue jumped out of his way. Once inside his office, he walked towards Falkes' cage, gazed in, and continued onto his desk. He sat down, and began to pull a piece of parchment and a quill towards him, but stopped when he noticed a strange, lumpy, brown paper package at the edge of his desk. Curious, he picked it up. Professor Dumbledore, it read. Slowly, he it pulled open to reveal two pairs of woolen socks. A small piece of parchment fell out of them. He picked it up.

                                    Merry Christmas

                                                -H.P.

            Albus Dumbledore began to laugh.

So, what do you think? It's just a little cute thing. And when Dumbledore laughs at the end, its not because he "crazy". Review, please. –A

P.S. I hope you had a happy Halloween. You know, in my family, its more than that, it's my sister's birthday, her boyfriend's birthday, and my parents anniversary. Hehe…I just happened to get covered in shaving cream, don't ask…
