Why Kokiris die when they leave Kokiri Forest

Why Kokiris die when they leave Kokiri Forest

"Kokiris can't leave the Forest or they'll die!!!" said Ralph, the guy blocking the entrance to Hyrule field. "So I can't let you pass."

Well Kinik the Local adventurous kokiri couldn't take no for an answer so he just shoved Ralph out of the way and marched right through the large sphincter-like doorway to the exit. Kinik trotted along happily across the bridge confidant that nothing would happen if he left the forest. Nothing could possible be so harmful out there as to kill a kokiri. As he crossed the bridge and reached the entrance to Hyrule field, he could feel the soft breeze wash across his face, the warm inviting sun absorbing into his tunic, and the sound of nature chirping in his ear. Kinik's morale was raised, how could such a gentle and inviting place kill a creature such as him? Little did he know, that hell awaited soon.. Trotting around the corner, he caught a glimpse of a wide, beautiful field full of fresh air, sparkling green grass and new adventure waiting in every direction. But suddenly, out of nowhere, a haunting sound rung through Kinik's ears. Looking up, Kinik's was stunned stiff upon glance of the most Hideous, Treacherous most monstrous beast he'd ever laid eyes on. A HUGE spotted Nocturnal creature of HELL looked down upon him, with large glaring gold and green eyes and ENORMOUSLY LONG Sharp feathers crowing the head like Giant crossed SABERS ready to PIERCE anything that lightly grazed it to the BONE! A Horrible Mud Brown Owl puffing up wildly, tilting its evil head.

Kinik stood frozen with absolute fear as his heart pounded inside his chest as if to break through the skin and run off like a timid frightened little rabbit. As the Owl spoke, the meaningless time consuming speech whirled through Kiniks mind, confusing and baffling poetry that Kinik couldn't Care Less about!

Hours and Hours ran by as the words consumed Kiniks brain like a beetle eating it out slowly. Finally, as the speech slowed to an end, the owl of hell presented Kinik with one simple hideous question. "Did you get all that?"

Driven insane by the long horrible winding speech, Kinik covered his arms over his head and shouted out. "NO!!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!"

And the same exact meaningless speech was said Over and Over again, till Kinik was simply a lifeless husk withering away by the speech, of Kaepora Gaebora, the Time Wasting Owl of Misery.

And THAT'S why Kokiri's will DIE if they leave Kokiri Forest. Have a good day!
