Disclaimer: Why, this all belongs to the Goddess-All-Mighty JK Rowling. I know, I know, that's just a little bit too obvious but still. there's always those who don't understand the simple facts of life. ::shooks head:: Oh, by the way, this poem originally belongs to Lolita Pinney. So, no need to sue.

Sirius Black is.

The Last Minute Shopper (!!)

Do your Christmas shopping early

Is advice I would ignore -

Let who will do the autumn shopping

I love late shopping more!

Just to see the stores a-twinkle

In their holiday array,

And to watch a child in the Toyland

As he stops to dream and play;

Then to hear the sidewalk Santas

With their kettles and brass belt

Stirs one's heart to thoughts of sharing

As it whispers, "all is well!"

To choose a gift for someone

With some star dust in your eyes

Makes you eager for its giving,

For it's new - and a surprise!

Merry greetings are contagious

As you elbow through the throng;

Starry snowflakes stud your footsteps

As the wind blows clean and strong.

Let who will do Christmas shopping

On a sunny autumn day -

But for me last minute shopping

In the only joyful way!

Author's Note: Oh well, that wasn't the best thing ever but it was okay I guess. I think it fits Sirius and everything because. oh well, just because. Anyway, if you don't review I will personally hunt you down and make your death a very painful one. I assume you get the picture. Flames will be used in my fondue business or to light my room in hell - Oh my, I guess I'm getting all poetic again ::sighs::
