Sephiroth- The Fighter, the Madman and the Lonely Child.
A/N: I wrote this for school, but it was "off task" so it wasn't marked, bloody teachers.
Disclaimer: I don't own Sephiroth (sadly), Vincent, or Hojo (thank god). Sqaure own them all.
Warnings: Yaoi
Sephiroth. That is all he is known as. He has no middle names or surname. Some people refer to as him "Sephy" or "'Roth". But he kills them - all of them. He is insane. If you had Professor Hojo for a father you would be too. Sephiroth does not come from a stable family. He never knew his mother and his father is a mad scientist in the most literal sense. Hojo was always lying to his 'son', about his mother, about himself, but most of all about Sephiroth.
From an early age is was clear that Sephiroth was an immensly gifted child. By the age of 7 he was fluent in three different languages and his physical appearance was just as impressive. His muscles were already developing strongly and he could already list up his father two foot off the ground. However, if there if one aspect of Sephiroth that is remembered if him more than anything else it is his hair. Easily reaching his firm rear, every time Sephiroth moved his hair cascased beautifully down his back where it could be fully appreciated.
Sephiroth was not a vain man, but he always wore one set of clothes, the outfit that his 'father had brought him on his 17th birthday. This costume consisted of a pair of loose leather trousers that ended just below his knees and were constantly tucked into his high boots. His chest was almost bare, only covered by a small metalic plate, which was mainly for protection in battle (but Sephiroth never removed it as doing so would reaveal more of his flesh) and two thin staps that held up his fasionable cape. This cape added to his intimidating look, swishing around his ankles where ever he was.
As Sephrioth was also a very talented fighter he also was often seen sporting steel shoulder plates and weilding his sword - the masamune. This weapon was neigh on seven foot long and designed specifically for this unique swordsman. The hilt was moulded for his hand and whenever Sephiroth trained he gathered a large audience as his style of battle was beautiful and almost hypnotic. It was also true that only he could ever weild a sword of this style and size and many of the crowd that formed on such occasions were young men in awe of him overwhelming strength.
However under all of this popularity and the strong silent fighter image Sephiroth is caught in an inner turmoil. Once he loved a man, Vincent Valantine, and he loved him dearly in return, yet his father did not approve and removed her from Sephiroth's world forever. This made him bitter towards Hojo, but at this time he had not happened upon the deliate piece of information regarding his parentage and was still living a lie. It was not till many years later that Sephiroth discovered that the same man that had been experimenting on him for best years of his life was his paternal father. It was this that drove him to dementia, but occasionally Sephiroth is himself again. It is in these brief spells of sanity the green-eyed, shimmering haired man breaks down into tears and cries out for Vincent.
This tale of woe is to end soon though, as Sephiroth is now nearing his final battle. From the beginning he was destined to die at the hands of a mere child and Sephiroth takes comfort in this fact. Believing in the promised land - his religions version of the afterlife - as Sephiroth does has installed hope and faith into this poor unfortunate soul beacause he knows that in a matter of days Sephiroth will once again be with Vincent, and for the first time ever, his mother.
