This is my first attempt at a Redwall poem, so don't kill me about it if it's bad.
One Walked Away
One walked away
'neath the cold gray-blue sky
One walked away
Through the cold winter frost
One walked away
With a tear in his eye
Shed for all the friends he had lost
The One walked away
One walked away
Battle-scarred and weary
One walked away
Silently crying
One walked away
From the battlefield dreary
Away from all the blood and the dying
The One walked away
One walked away
With blood matted fur
One walked away
Following the setting sun
One walked away
Thinking of warriors that were
Somewhat glad that his battle was won
The One walked away
The squirrel stood alone
On top of the hill
Thinking the thoughts
Of one who has killed
In a valley of death
They gave all they could give
After that raging battle
He was lucky to live
Too many lives were lost on that day
When so many fought
And one walked away
I'd like it if u sent me a review saying who you think The One is.
Thanks!
