Running on a Long Road



The next sunrise came and I was far away from my precious Corel. Considering the circumstances I was in a good state of mind. The woman, whose name was Lindsey, said I was going to a nicer place. We continued in a rusty pick-up towards the sea. I could smell the salt air already, for the sea was still miles away.

"Have you ever been to the sea, Roxy?" her voice was stern and disciplined. I shook my head, black hair moving like liquid silk. "I'm taking you to Junon. You'll have anything your heart desires, dear." I knew she couldn't be as friendly as she sounded.

We got to Costa Del Sol in an hour. The waves were small, slapping against the metal slides of the ships.
