The Zerg story.
I, the Overmind have detected a disturbance in the lower corner of my brain.
It seems that a large group of Terrans have landed on my planet. I have sent already 58 drones to be made into sunken colonies and another 58 to be made into spore.
These drones are dim witted. They allow only short money to die and become unmovable. Hoe pitiful. But I need every last one of them. They are important for my protection. Now it seems that the Terran have united with the Protoss. I have ordered my 24 hatcheries to train 3 Hydralisks each. I have a good supply of minerals and gasses with 50 drones.
Ahhhh. the Hydralisks are ready. I train 10 to be Lurkers and I hide them around my sunken colonies. My loyal subjects Mantrarch, Kukuza and Yggdrasil stand before me.
The Terran are using siege mode at a distance to destroy my sunken colonies and the Protoss are using Reavers to launch scarabs at my base. Damn it, these are long distance units. I cannot use my loyal defence. I must attack them. I send along now a pack of 12 guardians to attack and 12 devourers to protect the guardians. In no seconds at all. Their attacking units will be no more. My guardians are slow, but powerful, each launch destroys the reavers and siege tanks. They explode with one almighty boom. But 15 of my sunken colonies are destroyed. Luckily they have not yet destroyed my Lurkers.
Soon a fleet of 24 wraiths and 12 Battlecruisers arrive from the north, where the Terran are located. To the East, a pack of 11 carriers, an arbiter and 12 scouts, I easily detect these with my overlords and spore colonies. They are now advancing to me. But I am ready, I have sent a pack of 54 hunter killers in one direction, and another 54 in the other. Soon they will be fighting each other. I borrow my hunter killers and send 50 Hydralisks to each pack. The Battlecruisers and carriers slowly come.
As they approach my Hydralisks, my hunter killers spring out and out number them 4-1. There interceptors are no match for my spines. The carriers are slowly exploding one by one, the arbiter seems to statis field my hunter killers but my hydras take them out. But I am not ready for the next thing. The arbiter recalls 11 other arbiters and they all recall the Protoss dragoons. Soon plasma flies everywhere. My hunter killers have splattered, their guts flying. Only my hydras are left and they destroy the remaining dragoons. Some of them are already replenishing health and have become more courageous. Soon only one dragoon is left battling one of my Hydralisks. The dragoon wins and is slowly crawling it self to my base. But my sunken colonies are no match for it. 10 spines shoot up and it dies with a mass of blue blood.
At the Terran side 7 Battlecruisers have been blown up and 10 remaining wraiths are still visible. But I have underestimated the Terran. They send in 3 Valkyries and blow up my overlord. The wraiths are no longer visible so I lure them into my spore colonies. They get tricked and spores and spikes mix together to destroy the last remaining few.
Then over the horizon I see an army of marines and Zealots. Tassadar and Jim Raynor are commanding. I quickly train 300 zerglings and 700 devouring ones to the enemy. But the Zealots chop through them with butter and the marines kill them from a far distance. It seems the end of me now. Their forces have penetrated my sunken colonies and even my lurkers could not destroy them. Their observers and science vessels have come. I feel that they have dropped some dark templers and ghosts into my hive. The templers are killing my drones and hive and 15 ghosts have targeted me for a nuke. The nukes are falling on me. Before I die I hear a faint squish.
