WARNING (green day, whee!): This is a very very very short one-sided Cedric/Harry romance. If you hate yaoi or slash or whatever, DON'T READ IT. Thanky swanky. Again, it's......short. No plot.

Disclaimer: Do you have any idea how rich I'd be now if I owned Harry Potter? o.O. Scary thought. Anyway, I don't.

make a plan for a day far away
--------------------------------------------------
The late morning sun shone down on us, warm and clear. We sat side by side on the swinging bench, there on the veranda of the little white house with the picket fence and the yellow checkered curtains, somewhere off in the country. Just the two of us, and the grass of the moor, billowing like a purple sea. Far away from all the things that troubled him. It was so peaceful there. Just me. And Harry. Harry and me. It felt so right, like it'd always been that way.
He sipped his chamomile tea, and, turning his beautiful face toward me, shared his simple plans for the day. A quick shower, a walk through the moor with its budding crocus, maybe stop for lunch at a little place he'd read about in the paper, and wouldn't that be nice, Cedric? I smiled, of course it would, and kissed his cheek, blushing a bit. He laughed, his green eyes sparkling, amused by the fact that I was still so shy around him, even after living with him for three months.
I didn't have to be like that, he said. He loved me, and we'd always be together, he knew it. And when he says it, how can I help but believe him? It was true. I loved him with all my heart, just like I always had. And he... he loved me, too.
And then
I
woke
up.
