He could feel her pain, her anger, her everything. It was pounding inside her and inside him as well, and it hurt. But still he watched on; he had no choice.

"I despise what I've become! Can't you see that!? I hate myself, I never wanted this, why can't I be a normal girl? I just want to be where I'm supposed to be, and that's not here!" The girl yelled at a foggy figure. Pixel couldn't see her, but he sorely wanted to. She was in pain, mentally as well as physically. It was red hot, like coals dropped into her blood, like the anger and disgust radiating from her.

Her nails bit into her skin, and so did Pixel's. Her body was shaking, and now so was his. 'It's a dream! Or a vision, one of the two. Maybe both.' Pixel realized, much to his relief. Having his body being controled like this was extremely uncomfortable. So was having his vision in this smoky red and black colouring, he suddenly realized.

The blurred figure suddenly took his hand to the air and with one swipe came down upon the girl with a resounding crack of back of his hand on her cheek. She screamed and Pixel could feel the blood pulsating underneath her skin in protest.

"Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live." a hissing voice came out, and then it faded to black.

Another picture came to his mind, flitting in and out of veiw. A girl, the same one still, though younger, and more innocent seeming. The anger and bitterness and pain were missing and were replaced with confusion and fear and a tender young feeling of vunerability.

She was leaning over a broken vase, staring at it in shock, tears pricking her eyes. 'But I didn't do it! I was on the other side of the room! But ...oh, why did that stupid floor have to be so wet? Why did I have to slip? Nothing was there to grab onto!'

Aloud, she whispered to herself, "What's wrong with me?" It seemed as if the air was filled with her scream then.

"WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME!?"

Pixel's and the girl's cry mixed as one until Pixel bolted up in his bed, shaking hard and feeling the sting on his reddened cheek and hearing the hissing voice.

"Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live."
