"Yawn. Ugh. I feel like pants today." A young girl around 15 pulled herself off the bed and on to the floor. In a few minutes time she feel asleep. Seconds later a huge white dog came bounding in licking her face trying to grab her and pull her down the stairs.
"Htuym... what in the hell? Merlin? Merlin. Merlin! PUT me DOWN!"
'Growl.'
"Fine be an ars."
She grabbed her wand and yelled 'Accio, dog food.' Merlin let go of her and began to eat the dog food which came flying up. The girl turned to look down the stairs a huge clock read 5:58. She smiled and giggled. The young girl quickly ran to the next room which happened to be a bathroom. She washed up and combed her long hair, that just so happened to look just like the carpet, a dirty brown. 'Oh, well.' she thought and ran out of the bathroom, turning off the light and soon she was passing the huge clock that now read 6:21.
"Morn' Mum."
"Good morning sunshine. Did you sleep well?" She handed her a plate of pancakes with blueberry's in them and walked to the sink.
"Yea-"
"I keep telling your father you shouldn't sleep in the attic. Let alone, live in there by yourself. I swear there are rats and... and... odd things." She nodded her head.
"Merlin, keeps me comp-"
"Oh, honey, don't get me started on that dog."
"Whatever..."
"Eat up sweetie you have along trip ahead of you."
The girl put her plate by the sink and bent down to talk to Merlin, who had come down when he was down eating as she started patting his head she said "No shit Sher-"
The mother spun around her eyes flashing and waving her deep red wand with each word the mother steped closer. "Excuse me?"
"I said I need to make... a pit stop!"
The mother turned around and started looking for her rum muttering "Just like her bloody father. Insane peopleā¦"
The girl raised her eyes to the ceiling and walked out of the room went down the hall and open a door which lead to a study.
"Father, that women is driving me insane!"
"Oh, now your blaming her?" His clean gray eyes laughed.
"Oh, sod off." She giggled back matching his eyes with the same gray eyes. "What are you doing here? Where is Father?"
"I dunno. I was looking for him too."
"Awww. Is my wibble bittle brother wanting to go to Hogwarts too? Tuff luck" She added in a cold voice. The brother got up from the chair and became to chase her around the room yelling that he was only older by 30 seconds.
"It's okay, someone has to stay here while I go play with fire and magic." She laughed at her brotherwhile his face turned redder and redder.
"You bloody-"
"Sweet heart." He added as their father walked in.
"Ah, good morn children. Umm... Llassar please take Llewlyn's stuff to the car. The train to Hogwarts leaves soon. They can't left waiting." Llewlyn smiled and Llassar eyed her angrily.
"So my dear sweet girl how are we today?"
"Same as every year... thrilled!" Llewlyn smiled. "I will miss home. Yet, I can't help to feel Hogwarts is my home. And the Common room our living room. It's too bad you or Llassar will never see it."
"I doubt we'll be missing much." Llassar said has he entered the room. "The car's ready father, shall we be off now?"
"Yes, Llassar we will be."
All 4 of them pushed and pulled themselves into the small mini-van and they we're off. Llassar turned his head to see his twin sister Llewlyn sleeping with Merlin on her lap, mind you all he could really see was her face but... he wonder why all the men in their families didn't have magic but all the women did. He thought most likely one of the men pissed a witch off and cursed the men forever. His thought we're soon interrupted by the stopping of the car. He looked up the sign above the car it read Kings Crossing.
