Okay first off I would like to say that I'm not responsible for literary works, which originated from Spanish, Geometry, and/or Study hall. Those classes bring out the worst in people and have led me to write poetry, yes you heard me, poetry. Poetry is good as long as it isn't mine. This is part two of a trilogy of poems I wrote to explore Kenshin's character.
Disclaimer: I do not own Rurouni Kenshin; it belongs to Sony, Nobuhiro Watsuki, and whoever else owns it.
Songs of Life Trilogy: Battousai's SongOne day my world stopped turning
In a forest covered in snow
My blade stole my happiness
With one fatal blow
She died in my arms that day
She apologized for leaving
But she had one last gift to give
An everlasting mark
I swore when the chaos subsided
As my offering to her
My sword would shed no more blood
So I left my sword lying there
In the bloodstained ground
The Battousai faded away
As the Rurouni was born
Okay that was bad. On to number 3!
