Disclaimer: They aren't mine
"Hold me, I'm cold." He whispered so I held his naked body to mind. I was still in a daze from what we had just experienced for the first time together and I had yet to speak. I watched my little blonde angel fall asleep in my arms, a content smile upon his soft and slightly flushed face.
"Hold me, I'm cold." He whimpered one night after one of his many nightmares. His sweat slicked body felt warm against mine. He shivered slightly and his teeth chattered gently. He really was cold. I held him until he had fallen back into peaceful dreams.
"Hold me, I'm cold." He sobbed as he threw himself into my arms. I held him knowing that this father's death was still so very fresh in his mind. He let himself cry, knowing that I wouldn't stop him or think him weak for showing any emotion.
"Hold me, I'm cold." He asked as we were told that war was once more upon us. I pulled him to my chest and rocked gently. I didn't know if it was to comfort him or me or perhaps both. The only thought running through my mind was that I hoped we'd both get out alive.
"Hold me, I'm cold." He looked at me as we read over our mission. All five pilots were needed to prevent Operation Meteor from actually happening. All five were needed to save the world. I pulled him into my arms and I held him tightly, afraid to let go. He trembled slightly and clung to me like a lifeline.
"Hold me, I'm cold." He whispered as I gathered him into my arms and held him close to my chest. I ignored the blood and death around us and I forgot about the battle raging over us. The Gundams still fighting didn't register to me as I sat with him on the ground. My attention was solely drawn to him and I never took my eyes off of him. Even long after he had stopped breathing.
