1 Supermarket Sweep
After years of intense training for this moment, Daryl was ready. He had practiced his moves and route for years, perfecting the running grab. He was now ready.
The question rounds were over, and now he had to race to get the most expensive items the fastest. He heard the horn blow, then started running.
He ran as fast as he could, grabbing turkeys and hoses at random. He spotted the 10,000 pound ham aisle. He ran down shoving some in his cart.
As he rounded the corner, he noticed a bonus, a giant inflatable raft with "SUNKIST" on it. He grabbed it and brought his full cart back to his screaming wife.
The other teams had just started collecting their items. Daryl grabbed a bag of coffee beans and ran with another full cart back.
The horn blew. He stopped and sat down, sweating, on the linoleum tile. The contents of the carts would be totaled up any second. Yep, they were done.
He went over and grabbed onto the bonus. When told to, he ripped off the label. $400!!!!!! Yes!!!
When added to his cart amount he had....
$1624!!!!!
That beat all the rest of the teams by two times!!!!
He was in the finals!!!!!!!!

Daryl readied himself at the starting line. He tensed, ready to go. The buzzer went off yet again and the clue was read. He puzzled over it a minute, came lit up as he remembered.
The other two clues went off without a hitch, but as he was on the last clue, he stumbled and fell. The $5000
was right there!
He got up and leapt.
The buzzer went off just as he grabbed it.
Was it over? Had he won?
A voice called down.
"NO GOOD! HE WAS TOO LATE!!"
Daryl knelt down, bowed his head, and wept.
