Title: Siren~Goddess of the Sea

Author: Seifer Almasy Griever

Pairings: SquallxSeifer (by now, all should know that one), including the GF's

I don't own any of the Final Fantasy VIII characters, Squaresoft does. Well, on with the story, eh? ((Man, I'm good! **with writing these GF stories, suck at everything else**))

I, Siren, was a true goddess of the sea. I ruled all of the oceans, and controlled all the animals of the sea. But, my home was taken from me...for I was captured by beings known as, Humans. They brought me above the waters of my home, and used me. They junctioned me to them, to add to their strengths. I refused them, they only wanted me to show off. I was abandoned by my last master, and I found it nesassary to junction to Elevoret. A monster who roamed free. He was kind and permitted me to junction myself to him. Then he decided to guard a tower. I found out later that it was Dollet Communication Tower. He was homeless, and claimed it. No one used it, so he ruled it. I was happy in my home, no humans to command me. Then, they came. Humans called soldiers came to claim his home. I helped defend it. He had let me junction to him, so it was the least I could do. We stopped any human from coming in. But, alas, they captured it. Then, a stunningly beautiful young man came, Squall Leonhart. He was aiming to become a SeeD. I knew what it was like. He was with two others, Zell Dincht and Selphie Tilmitt, also students wanting to become SeeD's. They fought with my master, Elevoret. Then, Leonhart drew me from him. I cried and screamed for my old master. He had been ever so kind to me. Then, he was gone. Elevoret had been defeated, killed by these mere humans. I was amazed and shocked to see them destroy a monster of my master's stature. I was junctioned to Leonhart, as they ran from the Mechanical monster created by the Soldiers. They fought the monster, as I cried in misery. Then the Ice Goddess, Shiva, came up to me and told me not to fear. She had been junctioned to Leonhart for quite some time, and he was nice. Then, he summoned me. I saw through his eyes at first, that he looked out onto a desolate world of coldness, betrayal, and deceit. His comrades dissapeared and I appeared. I sat perched on my rock in the glistening pink sea. Playing my golden harp, I damaged the monster with my attack, Silent Voice. It stopped it for awhile, then Leonhart and his comrades continued on. Running from this monster. They ran to the edge of the sea, where a vessel was parked. Leonhart jumped as the monster came up behind him. He landed on the sand with a hard thud, then got up as the monster noticed him. Leonhart ran toward the vessel with the monster hot on his heels. He jumped, I heard gun shots. It seems that the woman Quistis Trepe was firing a gun at the mechanical monster to stop it from killing Leonhart. I gave my strength of the sea to Leonhart and helped him make the ship. He was safe, the monster was destroyed, and they were headed toward a place that I had once feared, Balamb Garden. We have been junctioned together for many years now. I fear nothing. I know, that even though I miss Elevoret, I have a new home. I am happy once again, with Shiva, Squall, and Bahamuat.
