One sunny summers day, a boy was out in the garden doing chores. This boy had black hair and bright green eyes. Though they hadn't been that green recently, they had been dulled by shock and pain. And of course the nightmares that plagued him. These had caused dark shadows under his eyes and he was thin enough as he was.
His matted hair draped over his eyes, and he wiped it of with a muddy hand
to expose a thin scar on his fore head. Harry Potter had been through alot
since he had disembarked from the Hogwarts Express four weeks ago; the most
important of these was his move to his fathers old friend, Remus Lupin's
house. The pick up had been extrordinary, especialy as Harrys Aunt and Uncle
hadn't been hugely welcome to yet another wizard that had dared to enter
their home. Harry smiled as he recalled the expressions on their faces.
Of course this was different to what he could have expected at the Dursleys - they were abusive, however Remus asked him to do a few chores and Harry enjoyed the garden. Distantly a voice was heard yelling for him to come in out of the Midday sun, Remus hadn't seen him that morning he was still in bed when he had got up and outside, but then it had been the full moon last night. He knew there would be questions coming but he was tired so he went in anyway.
Remus was there waiting for him, bent over a plate of grilled bacon. Harry sat hurridly as the bacon was set down on the scrubbed kitchen table, and dug into his breakfast before he could be questioned. Remus sat down with his own mug of coffee and sipped it carefully, and picked up 'the Prophet'.
Harry saw the headline and shuddered. Remus had not yet spotted Harrys bespeckled face an the front of the paper, with the huge, throbbing headline; 'POTTER INSANE'. Remus turned over the page and froze. He stared at Harry for a moment, who was trying to look engrosed in his bacon sandwiches, then stood and walked over to the fireplace.
Harry looked up in time to see Remus vanish in a swirl of emerald flames, and shivered. He hadn't even said where he was going. He was going to be SO angry.
