Introduction...
Weaver walked out of exam 3. She had been supposed to see a patient there, but the room was empty. She limped toward the admin. desk to try to find out what happened to her patient, but there she saw a bunch of doctors and nurses, idling.
"Ok everyone, the break is over, I want all of you back to work immediately! It's not a chatting room, it's an hospital!"
"What work are you talking about? There's no patient!" an irritated nurse exclaimed.
"No patient? It's impossible!"
"Have a look yourself if you don't believe me..."
Kerry mumbled something inaudible, and limped hastily toward the board: nothing was written on it. Puzzled, she had a look at the other side of the desk: there was no one waiting in chairs...
"Why isn't there anyone?"
"I guess you didn't hear the news... You should have a look outside..."
When Weaver eventually opened the door to the ambulance bay, she saw quite a lot of people walking in a circle in front of the hospital. Some of them were bleeding, some had an arm in a sling, some were holding a piece of gauze on their wounds... They were walking, brandishing signs with revolutionary slogans written on them. "No more waiting!" "Antibiotics for all!" "We want to be treated!"
And all of them were yelling "STRIKE! STRIKE! STRIKE!" in rhythm.
