I have to admit, when I saw him for the first time, I had absolutely no idea what he was capable of.
Some people would lie and say, "Oh, of course, I knew from the moment I saw him that he was trouble." But I've always believed that lying is wrong, so I won't do it. The first time I looked into those big dark eyes I fell in love. It was a strong love, too -- as unbreakable as it came. A blessing and a curse. I know how everyone looks at him: like a monster. But he wasn't a monster, not in my eyes. In my eyes he was an angel, and it would never change -- no matter what he did. So go on, laugh and scoff and say he was a beast. But you never saw him the way I did. That's what I'm trying to explain. Maybe my story will help you realize how much he meant to me, and how much I meant to him. Because as much as you may say that he was only a monster, a murderer, a child of the devil, you must remember that he was a child. A baby.
My baby.
