He led them through the corridors, finally stopping at a classroom that was not used anymore.



"Please concentrate on the laughing arrows, now remember to fit the length of your arrows to the size of your bows, for example, Harry is not going to create a half-foot arrow for his 5-foot longbow. The charm is Arus Lavius, now go".



As it turned out, Neville was the only one who got it right. His medium-sized blue glowing laughing arrows were a perfect match for his Asian composite bow. Everyone else's was either too long, too short, too thick or too thin. When questioned by Lavender on how he did it, Neville replied:

"Oh, Gran used to take me for lessons for a few years."

Once they all had their Laughing arrows, Sean them how to knock their arrows, pull back and fire with his longbow, he hit the dead center of the target.

" Okay, now just practice for a few minutes, I'll be back soon."

The result was mayhem. No matter how good she was with school work, Hermione could not fire her composite bow with any accuracy at all. She went over to Neville who was giving lessons to Harry.

Almost embarrassedly, she asked: "I don't seem to be able to get this, could you help me?"

Neville nodded curtly, before a stray shot from Ron sent him sprawling to the ground in mirth.

Harry's grin widened as he and Ron exchanged glances that shared a thought: 3-2-1- "Now!!" As Hermione went down. They hit Lavender and then had a muggle-style duel where they both got hit.
