Disclaimer: I don't own the g-people. I just mess with their fairytale lives.

I wrapped a blanket around her small form and brought her a cup of coffee. She laid down on the couch, her head in my lap and the steaming coffee warming her hands. I strake her silky black hair as she told her story in a whisper, as if she were afraid that it would all disappear if she talked any louder.

The first had been Trowa. She had gone to the circus when she was working on Earth six years ago. She had watched his routine, mesmerized by him. After the performance she had gone to his trailer and they spent a long time catching up, I remember introducing sometime before that. They had talked well into the night until she had fallen asleep on the tiny couch inside the trailer. Hilde had enjoyed herself immensely with him. She said it was fun, not to mention he was pretty good in the sack too. I winced at the last part, it wasn't something I wanted to hear. They spent six months together before he frightened her off. They were spending another quite night together, just like their first, when he told her how he felt. He told how even that first night he had realized her loved her. She just felt so right to him. Lying their in his arms, he thought this was the way life should be. He proposed to her that night. Hilde had immediately refused him. She wasn't in love, she told him, it was just a good time to her. So, she left him heart broken, down on one knee in the middle of the empty trailer. She had felt very guilty. But, he's happy now and that makes her happy. At least it would have he didn't hold the heart of the one she loves.
