I am Aisha Clan Clan of the Ctouro Ctouro tribe in East Sector 7.
Like many Ctouro Ctouro, I am a very prudent warrior. I will fight for my
kingdom, and not be defeated by anyone of such manner. DO YOU HEAR ME!
Aisha was asleep, yet again, on the Outlaw Star. Tonight, she was dreaming
of battling Hazonko of the fiendish Heifong Space Pirates. She let out a
purr, dreaming of roaring Hazonko into a blubbering baby, then extended her
paw, swiping into thin air. The crymson red Outlaw Star was set on
autopilot, floating in space. Down the corridor, Gene Starwind was in the
bath, singing his gallant heart out to a song he heard on the radio that
morning. Jim Hawking sat in his small compartment, working on his latest
weapon for their vessel while Melfina made tea for him in the kitchen.
Sazuka sat in the den, a small cup of sake to her side, eyes closed.
Battles that night were vague, hence the fact why their captain was in the bath. They had left Heifong Sector 7 Space Unit for a brief stop, a bounty was high there. A matter of fact, all of their bounty money came from Heifong. Sazuka took a sip of her sake, then swore under her breath on Gene's singing and how he would wake up the slumbering Aisha.
It had been exactly 7.59 years since they found the Galactic Lailine, and everything had gone back to what it was before. They still earned pocket money by being part-time bounty hunters, but they spent it on trivial matters, instead of saving it up for food and bills. They had Explorer's Fee money for finding the Lailine. It was exactly 139.6 million yen. Just last week, Sazuka spent all of her bounty money on sake and gambling, Jim on new tools, Aisha on food (half of it to pay off the debts Gene racked up for her), Gene on girls, and Melfina...well, Melfina didn't spend any of hers. She kept it in a glass jar.
Today was boring. Gene left the bath, and walked by in his soaking wet towel. Melfina blushed, and Sazuka glanced over. He grabbed the tea from Melfina's hand, and brought it with him into his bed room. In the other room, a groggy Aisha woke up, he light pink top ruffled and matted, her face soaked with drool from her "battle." Melfina made herself some more tea, then solemnly sat next to Sazuka who gulped down another shot glass of sake. Jim was in the basement, however, working. He sipped some coffee Melfina made for him earlier, then adjusted the artificial light of the room. Holding up his screwdriver, he placed it next to an assortment of colorful wires.
Everyone was tired that. Tired, bored, and exhausted. Yet, this was a typical day when you are considered the best in space. No one will communicate with you, fearing your power is too much. Fearing your a monster. But this is the life of a band of renegades, always on the run.
