Disclamer- I don't own the characters, so please don't sue me.

AN- this fic was written by Xejo (my sister) and I when we were bored in France, so give her some of the credit!

Okay, the rating is for innuendos. Odd paring, beware.

Playing Cards.

Mitsukake's Point of View

I looked at him.

He looked at me.

I looked at him.

He looked at me.

Tasuki swallowed a bug.

I looked at him.

He looked at me.

Tamahome wanted the salt.

I looked at him.

He loo-

"Are you two hiding something?" Miaka asked. It was then that I realized everyone was staring at us.

"Yes," I said. Amiboshi looked at me with a look that said ', Please don't tell them about the romance we've been hiding from them,'

I thought about it for a minute and then said," We stayed up late playing cards last night."

Amiboshi's Point of View

I sighed, and decided to play along.

"Hai, Mitsukake-ch-SAN dealt last night. It was fun."

"Oh, that sounds like fun. If I weren't so busy having s- PLAYING CHECKERS with Tamahome I'd join you, but checkers is too much fun."

"CHECKERS?! We weren't playing checkers, we were having- YES CHECKERS, EXACTLY!!" Tamahome shouted.

"WE all ready know about what you two do at night, that's why we bought the ear plugs!" Nuriko chirped.

"Oh, cards, what game do you play?" Miaka asked, trying to change the topic from her s- CHECKERS life with Tamahome.

"I bet they play strip poker," Tasuki said with a snort. It took me a minute to realize he was joking.

"No, just regular poker," Mitsukake said in that oh-so-sexy monotone of his (.)

"Ah. regular poker, yep. Where clothes stay on!" I said back intelligently.

"Yep, on. As in NOT off." Mitsukake said.

I looked at him.

He looked at me.

Everyone else looked at him.

Everyone else looked at me.

"Cards?" Miaka asked, "Are you sure? Why do you keep googling at each other?"

"Yes, cards" I said.

"It was very fun. " Mitsukake said, "I like dealing."

"I like it when you deal too."

I said. He grinned at me.

"Well I guess I'll just have to deal more often then."

"I guess so," I said, loving the idea of 'playing cards' again later.

The paring isn't really all that odd; they were never very far from each other in the time before the summoning. Please, if you are going to flame my paring, then don't say they are too far apart in age. Seven years, same distance between Tasuki and Chichri.
