Disclaimer: Am I even supposed to put a disclaimer note for poetry? Oh well. Poetry doesn't belong to anyone. It's just. there. Oh yes, and the Bible? I think you know who owns it.

A Poem for Him

On a dark and stormy night

When the lightning's flashing bright

When the clouds begin to get dark

And it rains like in Noah's ark

When the storm never seems to clear up

The weather never seems to cheer up

And the dreary world seems to end.

You must pray to Jesus, you must call upon God

You must live your life like a Christian.

You must pray to Jesus, you must ask for Him

You must believe in God and do his ev'ry whim.

When the evil clouds of Satan try to fog up your day

You must believe in Him and he'll show you the way

He's the grand Saviour, and He'll show you the way

He's a friend of mine, a friend every day

He's the one an' only God, and He'll show all his way

He's Jeeeeeeeeeeeesus Christ!

In the middle of the night, when the storm is raging hot

And you don't know which way to go.

And the Devil's tempting high, as the evil prince of lies

With the mark of the beast on his forehead.

You should choose the path of God, the Lord of Lords and King of Kings,

As the angels 'round gather near Him to sing and siiiiiiiiing!!!

Oh trust in God for He will deliver

Do not shake and do not quiver

For He is theeeeere.

He is theeeeere.
