P1.
Rory finished her assignment and shoved her notebook into her already over loaded backpack. When she finally got it in, a note landed on her desk. She looked around and than at Mrs. Parker before opening it up.
1 Mary-That thig is going to burst pretty soon~
3 Tristan
She smiled away so that he couldn't see. She quickly scribbled down a response.
Tristan- Thanks for your concern, but I think it'll manage just fine!
She threw it on his desk as the bell rang. She picked up her bag and walked out. At her locker, she tried to open the lock, but it wasn't cooperating with her.
"Need help?" Tristan asked from behind her. She nodded, knowing very well that he was the only way she'd get it open anytime soon. He quickly opened it and smiled at her reaction of what was inside. There sat a cup of Starbucks coffee. "I put it in there before class." He answered her before she could even ask the question.
"Tristan thanks!" She grabbed the cup and sipped it. It was slightly cold, but coffee was coffee in the Gilmore book!
"No problem." They started walking down the hallway to lunch. "So, Paris told me you and Dean broke up."
"Yeah, I didn't like him like that anymore. He was actually quite boring." They walked in the lunchroom.
"Finally, she sees it!" He threw his hands up to make a dramatic affect. Rory chuckled. "Well that makes me very happy." He said while he sat down next to Rory at her table.
"Oh really, why's that?" Rory asked looking at him. Tristan knew he was about to let his guard down.
"Because it gives me another chance." He said not moving his eyes off of hers. Blue on blue.
Rory felt her cheeks getting warm. "Maybe it does."
"So that means you're not saying that I have no chance?" He asked. In response he got a nod. "That just made my day a hell of a lot better." He said with a smile.
"Yeah." She nodded again. They were interrupted by one of Tristan's friends coming over.
"Hey guys, Tristan man, ditching your boys?" He asked pointing over to the table Tristan usually sits at.
Tristan wanted to sit with Rory. He looked back at her. "Oh, go ahead. I'll read." She lifted her book up and opened to a page.
Tristan turned back to his friend. "Hey, Eric, I'll pass today."
"Alright, see ya!" Eric walked briskly back to his table.
"You didn't have to do that."
Tristan turned back to Rory at the sound of her voice. "No, I didn't. But I wanted to." He smiled and took a sip of his water bottle.
"Okay."
"What you don't want me to sit here?" He asked with a grin firmly planted on his lips. The same lips Rory wanted to kiss so badly.
"Actually I'd be fun!"
