Our Human Nature
Quatre doesn't like the fact of war. This is his poem that pours out his feelings.
Suspense,
Danger,
This year needs a change.
Getting closer,
to the end, all I see is a red light.
War,
Death,
I can't stand this anymore
Nobody should put up with this
everyone should live in peace
Why all this fighting
for something, something called peace.
Sometimes we want something and it starts in violence,
Everyday we hate someone, It's just our human nature,
That doesn't mean we have to use that hate to kill,
and If we do, count our sins, you know it's enough for hell.
I thought it would all come out as nothing,
if the world keeps this up you know all of it will be war,
some day you'll die but make the most of your days,
Don't fight, don't fear, just believe in me.
I guess war is the only way to solve things,
you put it that way but I think you should solve things
in a better way
forget the day
that made you feel this way.
I won't tell
Don't be afraid
You'll know that someday you won't regret it.
I want to take action in another way,
better than fighting with my fists
can we all just sit down and talk?
I don't have the guts to yell at you about this
attitude.
Don't fight, don't fear,
believe in me,
Don't fight, don't fear,
believe in me,
Don't fight, don't fear,
believe in me,
Don't fight, don't fear.....
Sometimes we want something and it starts in violence,
Everyday we hate someone, It's just our human nature,
That doesn't mean we have to use that hate to kill,
and If we do, count our sins, you know it's enough for hell.
