Harry woke up from a dreamless sleep. He looked around at his surroundings; he was in Ron's room. Posters of the Chudley Cannons filled every available space on the wall. Glad not to be at the Dursleys, Harry got out of bed and walked downstairs. Though it was only seven in the morning, Mrs. Weasley was already up and making some pancakes, for which Harry was very appreciative. Mmm-th---ks, he muttered, just as Ron walked through the door to the kitchen.
"Pancakes, Ron?" asked Mrs. Weasley.
"Of course!" cried Ron, amazed that she had even asked such an obvious question. He sat down next to Harry.
"Blimey, I can't believe that we start school again in only a week! The Ministry of Magic must put some sort of spell that speed up time during summer break."
"Yeah," replied Harry, " Summer goes by much faster when you're not at the Dursley's"
Ron had invited Harry over the summer, for he knew how long and miserable a summer at the Dursleys was. Mr. Dursley had promptly let Harry go, asking only that Mr. Weasley did not come into the house. Dudley had not even dared to come out of his room for a week after Harry was gone.
"Hurry up and finish boys, we have to got to Diagon Alley to buy your school supplies," said Mrs. Weasley.
"Now let's see what you need for this year;

Mrs. Weasley, Ron, Harry, and Ginny were all in Diagon alley, having taken the subway to get there. Mr. Weasley had business at the ministry and could not go. Ron and Harry wandered around the shops, eventually ending up in front oft he window of the broomstick shop, where the newest version of the Firebolt was displayed. They stared at it for a whole 10 minutes, at its amazing tail and polished handle. Mrs. Weasley pulling them towards the bookshop shattered their concentration on the broomstick.
Inside the musty place, they handed their lists over to the cashier, who expressed a huge sigh of relief seeing that Monster book was not on the list. He had bandages around his arms, and seemed very tired. Next, they went to the Potion shop, one of Harry's favorite shops. Inside, all kinds of strange creatures were lurking around in glass jars and vials. As Harry was looking at a petrified newt, he felt his scar dully burn. He whipped around, and saw three people, one of whom was his least favorite teacher at Hogwarts. He saw Professor Snape, Mr. Goyle, and a new kid, who he assumed was going to Hogwarts. Harry quickly hid behind a shelf, and waited for them to leave. Why was his scar hurting, he thought? Could Mr. Goyle, who he knew was a Death Eater be the cause of it?
